Although I really don't have many sets from I13 - yet - I was able to restrict me to buy only two pose sets - which, for a total of $ 10.- - offer an enormous value...
I have over 80% of their store for the figures I actually use. The strategy of constantly going on sale for 70% off seems to be working.
Deviney has some great stuff, but I don't own Photoshop. It kills me that Daz doesn't label the stuff as 'Photoshop'. I've bot stuff before and gotten burned because I didn't realize I couldn't use it until after the return period.
It is actually really weird that they don't have Photoshop in the software tag.
If you want to extract alphas from brushes you bought, you can use abrMate. GIMP should be able to open psds so you can use the layers. So if you just wanted to make image planes that you can use in DS, all is not lost.
Have you tried Gimp? It's free, open source, and it uses photoshop brushes!
I have an ancient version of Photoshop (PS7, released in 2002)), so a lot of the Photoshop addons here are basically useless to me. Same with the Daz Photoshop bridge, but that's not a big deal to me - I use the browse window to drag texture maps into Daz when I need to edit/modify one... saving to a new filename of course!
And yeah, the flash sale that includes i13 stuff has my 'click to buy' finger itching again...
Cool. Buying the Penny 8 Pro Bundle gives you 2 pro bundles without additional purchase.
Adding two Penny add-ons barely change the price which means you also get them for "free".
I think it's sad that a new female figure (Kaylee 8) gets listed as a supported character. We've already got signs for Edie 8 and The Girl 8. Where are the hints for future male figures? I just hope Kaylee 8 is Mei Lin 7's long lost sister.
Well, that's cool for some but for me there is NO extra incentive because I already own every one of the free items. Once again us loyal buyers are being penalized.
But then in a year we'll get this bundle free because we won't already have it
I made sure to not buy anything except one thing I really wanted from the Lilith 7 bundle knowing eventually it would be free or super cheap and did get it free at one point. There's nothing in the whole Penny 8 bundle that I can't wait a year for...

It looks like Daddy O is a Texture set for the other release.
You know, a few months back when Daz was doing the 'get the previous Pro bundles with the new Pro bundle thing' say Victoria 4-8, etc. Daz offered an extra 10% discount for each pro bundle you already owned.
For you guys that have all/almost all of the free offerings, while it isn't much, I think maybe the Daz sales team should reward you for your loyal buying up to this point, with some extra discount, orange banner coupon, or something...
I'm not quite there yet, but most of the 'related pro bundles' offer with the Penny 8 Pro I already own pieces of... plus I've been passing on those other bundles up to this point as they weren't as compelling as some others, but at least I have choices...
Based on the recent comments, the next time Daz does this, I think they need to expand the size of the 'related bundle' offerings, similar to what we saw recently, and for the really really loyal buyers that already have all of them... well an extra discount instead might be nice...
Also, the last couple of times, I noticed that waiting until Day 2 of the release the new Pro bundle offering seemed to have additional payoffs. Dunno if that'll be the case this time, but I'm in no immediate hurry to grab Penny. Also, that extra 10% off thing if you owned the immediately preceding Pro Bundle thing isn't in play today as far as I can tell... I seem to remember Aiko 8 giving me a discount on Ollie 8.

Yea, it was fine this morning... could be on the user end, where it occassionally drops the reqiured items for whatever reason.
So, now that we can get real sales again, what are people hoping for? While Polish & Stonemason are my top pics, they're also way out of my budget unless there's a glitch sale at an obscene discount. A solid sale on Sickleyield, RareStone, EcVh0, & Zev0 would be really nice though.
There's stuff I want to see on sale again soon, but I'm afraid if I share here what I want to see next I'll 'jinx' it in some way...
Gotta luv that annoying feeling when you realize that NOW you have need something that just went off sale recently. I guess that's where patience for the 'next time' comes in. I'm getting better at the patience thing, but it's not my strong suit.
That is a great idea! Some time in the future I will get Gimp. I don't use any post processor at the moment because I still have so much of DS to learn that trying to add in post processing would melt my brain from overload.

Well, I'm a loyal pro bundle buyer and own nearly all of them. But this discount policy with free bundles that one already has starts to really suck. Really think about starting to pass on Penny and the following bundles to make room to benefit from such offers in the future. Maybe if I stop buying pro bundles from now on I will have a lot of free stuff to pick once Genesis 9 hits the store.

Still not fixed for me. Logged out, logged in, deleted it in cart, added it again - it stays with 40%.
Well, it's not working again, then. I put the first 20 items from the IH Kang store in my cart, (with items I own hidden,) and every single one of them show at 40% off, even though I have two new releases in the cart includig one from today's sale.
And I see I'm not the only one…

Seriously, Daz Mods, has anyone reported the dicount prolems for IH Kang's store? (It's discouraging to report a problem and not get feedback that Daz knows about it.)
I randomly selected two items from each of the other featured artists' catalogs and added them to my cart. Those products all showed the discounts from having a new product in the cart. It's only IH Kang's store where the higher discount isn't getting applied.
I'm torn, because I don't want Penny 8, yet the allure of getting Kalea 7 Pro Bundle and Lillith 7 Pro Bundle (yeah, I know, I know, but Lillith 6 was a pleasant surprise and I do like some of the items in Lillith 7's bundle) is too strong.
Also, the extra discounts for today's lot of items is kinda "Meh" (I went to a community college, so seeing things like uniforms and big lecture halls is like '???' to me, lmao), but the fact we finally -FINALLY- have same-sex romantic poses in the Daz store for the first time ever is enough to negate that. And Myeong is quite lovely, too.
We did report, and it was fixed - but yeah, it's broken again.
