Nope- I am just trying to do straight math on the advertised sale. No green banner discount.
The "40%, 40%, and 24%" are the result of applying the "green banner" discount. If you didn't get the banner, you won't get the higher discounts. If you did get the banner, you need to apply the coupon code for the discount to show in your cart.
Question, Cris: What should the cart price be for PC+ items for PC+ Members? @ItsCeo was asking in another thread, and I don't know the answer. Here's his cart:
The Muscle Car is $1.99 for PC+ Members normally. 60% off the $1.99 would be 80¢, and 75% off for having a new release in the cart would be 50¢. As you can see, the applied discount with a new release is even less than the advertised 60% without one. In fact, it's not quite 38% off the member price.
This really doesn't sound right to me.

It looks to me as if that is applying the PC price isntead of the 60% off base price, then taking off the extra discount that would bring 60% off down to 75% off. The PC price is already better than 60% off, but it doesn't explicitly say that PC prices override the base 60% so we will flag this up for Daz.

So the way the math works, if you buy $100 gift card with the green banner discount, you basically get two of the Fashion Diva new releases for free (give or take a few dollars). Pretty good deal.
Nice set of artists today, but needing 3 of todays releases instead of any 3 new releases is rough. Especially when most of today's stuff is also offered bundled.
Yeah, this seems to be another step in the wrong direction for most customers from the new greedy Daz. Previously, it tended to be a pretty much 50/50 mix of sales that gave the bigger discount on featured artists with ANY new release vs those that required a new release from THAT days sale. Now it's always a release from the specific sale that's required, and nearly always at least 2 new releases.
Personally, I rarely want any new release badly enough to even consider buying it at the release price, and I generally don't even look at the featured artist catalogues at 40% off. So I probably won't be spending much here from now on. My Rendo wishlist has been getting decimated the last couple of months though...
But another way of looking at is: you could get that same $100 giftcard without any Fashion Diva Stuff for $85. So, you are paying $15 for the Fashion Diva stuff. Still a pretty good deal whichever way you look at it.

This has been reported, they are working on it. give it a few minutes or ten and try again.
The artist catalogs for the Sweet Innocence sale have lost their discounts hours before the sale is over (not unusual).

Thanks, Pam. Me not reading the small print. Though I could have sworn there was a standard 40% off showing earlier. And the blurb does say "unlock additional savings". It's not my fault!
Ugh....I get why we cant use store credit to buy gift cards (buy gift card w/ discount redeem, use that store credit to buy new gift card for another discount, repeat). But why can't we use store credit on the rest of the cart that is being purchased at the same time.
Support just wouldn't retroactively give me 15% of what I paid back on a couple recent purchases even though I attached screencaps of the prices in the cart with the coupon. Said they had to return Penny 8 Pro and the other items so I could repurchase them using the coupon code. Put them in a cart full of other things I wanted to use the coupon on including a gift card. Now can't use the store credit I got from the return to repurchase at 15% off unless I ditch the gift card (which is a bigger discount). I just wanted my $10 back in store credit.
Anyone ever try to have Support retroactively use the Storecredit and refund the difference back to Paypal for these type of situations?
I don't know if this will help you now, but when you return anything, you can ask they refund the purchase to the payment source, whether that's Paypal or your debit/credit card. To not derail the thread, I will PM you.

As for why it's not in the sale, my guess is because Daz doesn't own the product.
(Wishlist it. If nothing comes up sooner, it should get a good discount during the PA festival in September.)
I liked the vehicle sale today. Grabbed a few plat club items for 50 cents, and others for a bit more than that. And I used a new Plat Club item for the buy-in (qualifier was any new release, not just the ones on the sale page). Ended up with few things for a bit less than 14 dollars...
My Daz characters now have a choice of TWO diffferent ATVs to ride now!

I'm a little confused by the promo/title of sale today, "Massive Futuristic Flash Sales!" Seems like a regular sale, not a flash sale? Will I not be safe in getting the same prices if I buy the items tomorrow? I know there's no guarantee of anything, but "flash sale" seems to imply it's for a more limited time than usual.
I wondered the same thing...
