New stuff in fastgrab.
Flash sale: http://www.daz3d.com/danie
Non new, non-PC+ Daz originals are only showing the usual 30% off for Danie's sale. Is this intentional I wonder?
That was quickly reduced to only a subset of her items.
This is the new link: http://www.daz3d.com/featured-danie-items
Shame. Lost sales from me.
New Fast Grab is up
RunTimeDNA sale: 1 for 30% off, 2 for 40% off, or 3 or more for 50% off. Discount is applied in the cart

I don't understand this sale. Are the sale-items randomly selected? :))) Some RDNA items are included, others are not. I would go for this sale now, if all RDNA items were part of it.
EDIT: Now I understand it even less. If I have an item in the cart that IS part of the sale, and another RDNA item that is NOT part of the sale, the one included in the sale actually gets the bigger discount, while the other one gets nothing. (Example: http://www.daz3d.com/book-of-souls-add-on-textures and http://www.daz3d.com/book-of-souls )
Yep, not quite all 1033 RDNA items are included; but there are 763 items included Click on the banner ad or use the link provided to see the sale items. It seems to include a lot of the PC+ stuff, as well as some other items.
Book of Souls Add On Textures is part of the sale so it is counted as 1 item. The sale offers 1 item for 30% off. Since it is included in the sale it gets 30% off.
Book of Souls is not part of the sale. So it can not be counted as one of 2 items. Also, since it is not part of this sale it get's no discount.
I've flagged this up. Actually it is working for me - the items show a 30% discount in the cart, which isn't showing in store, but the discount stays the same if non-promo RuntmeDNA products are added to the cart.
My bad. The discount on the first item confused me. It IS working as advertised.
Lots of starter bundles added to fastgrab.
Victoria, Michael, Stephanie, David, Aiko, Hiro... As it should be... *Sigh*
the RDNA stuff is mostly older items, but good if you hadn't purchased there much in the past
New flash sales:

http://www.daz3d.com/dragonfly3d
And new fastgrab items as well.
Limited time gift card sale up. Only 12% max, so you're really going to be wanting the four qualifying items anyway.
You can grab four RuntimeDNA PC+ items, at 50% off, to qualify. If you're a PC+ member, that's about $6 to get the maximum of 12% off. About $10 for non-members. If you have a couple hundred to put into store credit, that's not too bad...
I just happened to have 4 items in my cart when this GC offer showed up: one Taco Tuesday new release and three 90% off items that together totalled $1.39. So it worked out well for me. I put them in the cart earlier today and was waiting to see if any multi-purchase offers came along and it did.

And even more items in fastgrab.
I have an odd question, and I'm not sure if it will be taken wrong and removed but it's not directed to be bad, anyway, do you think it's frowned upon buying products on fastgrab or on sale from your wishlist as to not always buying them when they are not on sale? I'm hesitant sometimes to buy products because they are sometime discounted really low and if if its considered a loss to the artist because the price difference. Again I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just curious.
The flash sales appear to be stacking for some items, with 78% discount. I put the Egyptian Mega Bundle in my cart and the price went even lower, to just $16.71, which is over 80% discount. Can't explain why, unless it's a glitch.
Did you get the personalised offer "A reward for your Genesis 3 Purchase" the other day? It was offering and extra 20% off anything by the PAs in the "Flavors of Beautiful" promo, which included Sedor. I got a similar pleasant surprise on a different bundle.
If this was something bad, then there would be no fastgrab, or artist sales.
I don't think I'm alone, when I say that there are products that I only buy when they are deeply discounted, and would never buy them otherwise. So in this sense, it's not a loss to the artist, but a gain. (Of course, I don't have a huge budget yet.)
I did, but had passed on it as I thought I had to buy a new release. That is a nice surprise :)
Pretty sure noone recieves a thank you message or a gift certificate from one of the PAs when he/she waits to pay full price for an item. :-)
Would you pass a sale in your local supermarket and wait patient until the goods you need are double the price? ;-)
Thats the reason for all those flash sales, grab it now or pay more than double the price. ... or wait until March Madness or the PA Festival, when it will be 50% off anyways.
Lol, no I grab the items at a supermarket or store and sometimes even wait to buy the items at stores. I don't have huge budget either, so most of the stuff I buy here is when it's on sale during its initial release or another sale, I just feel bad sometimes for buying the ones that have a huge discount.
Sales mitigate risk.
In a simple case, consider two equally priced products. I could either buy one of them, or buy them both at half price. In the first case, each PA is at 50/50 chance of getting money vs. getting nothing. In the second case, each gets paid, though half as much.
Then consider people have all sorts of personal thresholds for buying products and spending money on what, to most of us, is a luxury/hobby. Lower price levels make for more people potentially buying a product, while having non-sale prices means folks with more money might be willing to spring for more when something takes their interest.
While I hate confusing sales, the basic premise of sales is solid.
