    Because of the typo on the Daz Originals page Daz is making the discount 50% instead of 30%.

    Not really my thing, as I have a fair few egyptian items already, however if anyone fancies the Egyptian Mega Bundle, you can get it for just $17 if bought with one of Sedor's new releases:

    That represents an 83% discount for an item that is barely a few months old, and not even a DAZ Original, so a pretty good bargain. Not sure how long it will last.

    I read some reports that the Gift Card Sale also works with "New" PC+ Items. Have not checked it myself...

    Yes, it does, except for the free items.

    I can never understand the fuss about Gift Card sales. Maybe because I don't know anyone personally who uses DAZ products and I can't think of a reason for buying myself a gift card. And the sale discounts are always so low - I mean, 4% is hardly a game changer is it? I'd rather wait until my wishlisted item is included in an inevitable sale.

    Because you buy yourself a gift card at say 10% savings and save your store credit for the inevitable sale of the items you want, which then get an extra 10% off as a result. Of course, if you have to buy an item you don't want to get that intital discount it isn't worth doing.

    You wait for your whishlist item to be on sale, but with a giftcard (which you bought on sale) you can buy the discounted wishlist item with a discounted giftcard.

    Your item is on sale at 70%, add the 4% to it that you saved on the giftcard. Or the 20%.

    It your item is on a 70% off sale, and it normally costs $100, then you can get it for $30 during this sale. If you had a giftcard that you purchased at 20% off, the real cost of the same item during the same sale would only be $24. (You still pay $30 from your store credits, but that $30 store credit only cost you $24 if you bought it during a 20% off sale.)

    I used the 20% off anything coupon that DAZ gave us recently for using Connect to buy a $200 gift card. That means everything I buy with that $200 of gift card credit, is effectively another 20% off, on top of the actual discount for the item on sale, which is definitely a worthwhile additional discount.

    Also, by using store credit, you do not have to fuss with paypal and/or credit card payments each time you make a small order.

    The problem with Gift cards for  me is that I get more tempted to buy stuff if its using store credit rather than Paypal so I am not sure I save anything when I buy a gift card - Havos & Ati have far more self control than I do :)

    I'm starting to see why Gift Cards are often excluded from sales.

    Good Giftcard sales come around every 2-4 Weeks (most of the time 1-2 Days before a new DAZ Character hits the shop... hint .. hint)

    So when a 16-20% Gift Card sale comes up I buy a gift card for the amount that I approx spend within 2 weeks or so at DAZ .
