Non-complaint:  Farenheits in the 40s today.  Most of the snow is gone from my car.  I suspect if I feel well enough I could go for a mini-adventure tomorrow (Sunday).  Although budget is again really tight this month due to bailing my car out of the auto hospital and paying the people hospital for holding me where they fed me three meals of ex-hot tasteless food,  while they gave me intravenous fluids that unexpectedly had the effect of keeping me awake for 36 hours, and caused me to have 30 hours of hallucinations, after they had scraped the rest of my prostate out through the closest natural direct access port last November. crying  (Google "Images TURP")

I suppose I could go to Wendy's again but perhaps I'll go for a more local venue like the 80 year old "texas hot" place for a cheap lunch of two hots and a chocolate shake.  http://www.johnnyslunch.com/  I remember going there (when it was in the old location and called "Johnny's Texas Hots") with my dad when I was too short to see over the lunch counter back in the very early '50s

I noticed both Vue sites are down today, the Eon and Cornucopia sites.  Supposedly “for maintenance”, but it’s the middle of the day (well, here in the US).

Seems odd.  Hopefully they’re not gone gone.  surprise

They are definately not gone.  I have been in contact with support a number of times in the past couple of weeks.  They are also active on their FB page.

You can get manual software activation codes via email.  I requested activation codes for my copies of VUE Infinite and Plant Factory, received a response within minutes, and received the codes early the next morning as promised.

     [email protected]

And sales is available through the support address or at  [email protected]

They are working on getting a temporary site up soon.

And yeah, 2% of people ave common sense - and that's about it.  Normally you can get along ok with just common sense.

is it like cylon viper racing? laugh

Imagine racing around the world, jumping off bridges and buildings, not speaking the language, crawling through freezing mud, being groped on a packed train in India, eating fish eyes in Japan, fried insects in Cambodia, parachuting, snorkeling into underwater canyons, and only 2 people per team and very little cash.  Oh, and at the end of each leg is a pit stop and the last team to arrive is uaually sent home.

I've seen peope break bones, pass out from exhaustion, married couples split up, and all while trying to win a million bucks.  Every form of human emotion appears, and every kind of hardship you can imagine.  I've seen sweet couples turn into rage monsters and douchebags turn into human beings.  It's an incredible vicarious experience.

I wouldn't do it for ten million bucks.  It breaks most people.

...just shows you how stupid people will be when money is involved.

I'm old enough to not need any reminding about how stupid people will be, period.   However, I do keep going back to watching car crashes on YouTube for my adrenalin fix.  Speeding, swerving, crowding, rage, intoxication, insurance scams, selfishness, ... Same stupidity over and over.  Taking away their driving license doesn't seem to do any good.  The only thing that will save humanity is to take away their breeding license.  Get us down to a workable population. devil

Reality shows are (Hilariously) listed as ‘unscripted’ in industry publications but if that is true why did the Jerry Springer show have so many security guards on the soundstage ?

Oh, the 48F was actually toasty, compared to the couple of weeks where it mostly never made it out of the low 20s for highs.  We actually had a couple of nights where it went below zero!  And that wasn't the winch chill factor!

I've been saying for many years that sense is not common.  If it were, you wouldn't see such a proliferation of court room "dramas".  Or warnings on packaging on how the product should not be used.

Hehe, we actually had an incident in the Boston area that made the news.  A criminal ran from the police, but tripped because of his pants that were falling down around his knees!  laugh
