Edit: while ogling "Katana Set For M3" (a great old freebie by Arki from RDNA days) I came across my very firstest render thread, here in this forum. So it appears that 'weird and stupid" took over some time later.

Weird is easy. Start in the same place as everybody else, but go in a completely different direction.
(Curiously, that's also the recipe for genius. I believe the main difference is the cooking time. )

I was actually planning on doing a render with the entertaining Novariens Holy For V4 outfit...

...but somehow ended up with this instead...

    Thank you:o)
If 'cooking time' refers to the meal, I think that the tramp chitterlings and fingersticks are raw - demons seem to prefer people that way.
On the other hand, if  'cooking time' refers to the render, then this was more akin to microwaving a frozen ready-meal (or TV dinner in the US?). The only thing I cooked from raw for this was the silly dress (luckily the scene file was in the freezer too).

The dynamite/glue practical joke one involved a lot more work (at least when I originally did it - this time all I did was upload a JPG I found in my freezer) - my render beast can't cope with more than a few critters and things assets critters and things* in a scene,so I had to do separate renders of background characters and foreground characters and use a rubber mallet to bash them together.

Talking of rubber mallets**, I just found this picture I did way back:

*That's a new 'asset' joke in case you're wondering. It's funny, trust me.
**Yes, I know that picture has absolutely nothing to do with rubber mallets - that's why the mention of rubber mallets reminded me of it. Don't you wish your brain worked like mine ?

I'm easily confused - especially when somebody uses my own words of wisdom on me !

Anyway, talking of rubber mallets, here's another one I found (well, re-rendered just now)...
(and before you ask... don't ask. I don't have a clue what this is all about or what's going on. I think the original title was...)

    Dangerous Fantasies

(or something like that? I recall thoughts about a VR headset - although I've no idea why one of those would have "Police" written on it. Maybe future cop training ?
See - I told you not to ask...)

...from April 2017. With a basket of egg.

I have no real recollection of this picture, although I do remember Mr Hoppity (hoppity, hoppity. hop... grrrr!)

Hmmm... I guess it was probably for the freebie challenge that month ?

Not one, but two bits of 'inspiration' recently: first, the "It's Raining Men 2019" contest thingy; and second, Mazh's "The incorrect definition of NVITWS challenge" thread. This post is for "It's Raining Men" inspired renders. The next is for NVITWS ones. I may be adding to both of these posts as I come up with new ideas (to avoid constantly bumping this thread).

My first (possibly only) entry tothe Its Raining Men - instead of a Charlie in repurposed women's clothing, I opted for a straightforward (cliched) Charlie portrait by starting with Charlie's I'm Too Sexy For My Shirt/Shorts, reposing, changing some of the morphs, and using a different camera, et voila ! He becomes the protagonist from "Goodbye Joe" again... ish :

I then started playing around (the rest of these pictures are just trying to come up with ideas).

The biggest problem is finding M4 clothing that 'works'. This was just what I'm-Too-Sexy-For-My-Shirt/Shorts Charlie was wearing - from the H4 Nagase outfit I think. For some bizarre reason this makes me think Lee Van Cleef, despite looking nothing like him... how about giving him a cowboy hat ?

The next kit that sort of 'worked' was the trews and sash from Tales Of Adventure - Legendary. With the sabre I'm getting a sort of "The Duellists" vibe...

(Yes, I just noticed that the scabbard is floating a couple of inches in front of his crotch)

Different Head morph (Head 19 from The Man In The Mirror, DAZ Store),different camera angle, and an extra light.Plus two more - head08 (with Mon Chevalier hair), head07 (with Valkynne).

Next we have a couple of entries from last year ( I may have already posted these to this thread )...

At last ! An idea... St Peter, aka "Rocky" or just "The Rock", kicking out a few guys who loopholed their way in. "Falling Angels ? Sorry Shower more like !" I think I may go with this idea...

Necrotic Vicky In [a] Tomb With [a] Skeleton ?
Nonchalant Vicky Irritating Trolls With Spitballs Spittle ?

Decided to keep a note of ideas here rather than on my usual scraps of paper:

Noctilucent Vicky In a Tent With a Sausage
    NakedVicky's Insightful T... "Wearables" Solution
N... Vicky Injecting Testosterone With a Syringe
Necromancer Vicky Invoking Terrible Wailing Spirits
Necromancer Vicky Invoking Things Wearing Shorts ...could be her or the things wearing shorts
    Necromancer Vicky Incanting The WakeningSpell
Niggly Vicky In A Tantrum With a S...
Niggly Vicky In A Tizzy Washing Socks/Stuff
N... Vicky In a Tank Wearing Suspenders
Naked Vicky In a Tentacle Wildly Struggling
    Nepotic Vicky I... T... W... Sisters

    ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And on a completely different track, some jottings for a vague idea that's bubbling...

    Corracles, skiffs, scows,sampans, kayaks, rafts...
Salty seadogs, scurvy seacats, swarthy seamen, scrumpy sealasses, itchy sealice...

I decided to go with the falling angels idea (last image of the post two posts back) as my second entry for the "It's Raining Men" contest.

The cards and casino chips are something I made specifically for this picture. I'll be releasing them as a freebie when I finish tidying up - more info on that in my 54-card pickup thread in the freebie forum.

I decided not to use the lovingly (half-)prepared copy of "Playangel - Entertainment For Soon-To-Fall Angels" (half-finished cover attached*) which was going to be in the picture at one point - although I'm still contemplating whether there should be a Six Aces Casino flyer for stripper "Lily Lith" fluttering down...

*You'll never believe the amount of research I had to do to get it just right... Note to tos moral guardians: the cover girl Evangeline is wearing a full, albeit rather high-cut, swimsuit style costume - Aery Soul's Aermy. Extra image uploaded to this post as verification... and included inline below for good measure...

oooo... I'm getting a lovely Barbarella/Pygar vibe from that!

The upper left man's hair growth patterns are truly baffling.

That comment really reveals the absurdity of such guidelines, since you're seeing exactly as much of her butt whether or not she's wearing anything.

Doesn't the TOS say that as long as an actual object in the picture is obscuring private parts of the body, the model is considered to be sufficiently covered?

That is not how the ToS is worded,  it says

    1. Posts, threads, and images MUST NOT contain ANY nudity, violence, or profanity.

You are thinking of Richards thread,  Acceptable Ways of Handling Nudity        which does come closer to what you say.

    They are indeed.
But then again, he's not a man - he's the holy half-dead who's seen the underverse* a falling angel.
Perhaps baffling hair growth patterns break the ToS for being an angel ? laugh

*For those who didn't catch that reference... (I wonder how many takes that sentence took ? Karl Urban says it in such a teeth-grittedly serious manner that I get the impression that there must have been several previous takes where he burst into laughter)

I'm very proud of my latest work...

"And if I see you again I'll set the pig on you!"

One of my best titles in a long time !

(The picture's not bad either. It's even in my gallery.)

I'm also quite pleased with what would have been my third entry for this years "Its Raining Men" - if it had been okay for a NMIATWAS to conceal his nadgers with a strategically placed left hand.

Unfortunately it probably wasn't and I didn't bother investigating further. So you'll have to go to my DA gallery to see it - it's flagged with 'moderate nudity', so if you're not logged in (or if you're of a delicate disposition and have the 'don't show me naughty bits' flag ticked) you won't see it. More's the pity, because it's worth a look. And I think the caption is quite funny too. So here's the link to my "NMIATWAS" at DA. Go on... I know you want to look !

Returning to the main picture in this current post: Interestingly, this pig picture started as a rework of "Sandy", who was a NVIADSWN (Naked Vicky in a Dust Storm with... Nothing). The first thing I did was to put some clothes on her (there are children present), then I gave her an axe (kids like that), changed the pose and camera angle, and rendered. Decided some background scenery was necessary and added a building and a few odds and ends. Then decided a monster was needed. Tried a rancor and a giant centipede but neither worked for me. Then I suddenly thought "I have the DAZ piglet*"...
(N.B. The original "Sandy" picture was also uploaded to DA with the 'moderate nudity' flag to protect the shrinking violins** - "Sandy" at DA.)

*Don't you wish your mind worked like mine ?
    **yes, I know

Yes ! I've managed to modify my NMIATWAS picture sufficiently to be suitable for the DAZ galleries/forums (it's already been approved by the big RH) ...
