It's a shame Daz upped the discounts for Debut items today. There isn't a single item in there I want.
But yesterday, I'd have picked up three items, instead of only one. And there are two items I'd have grabbed the day before, if they had debuted at today's discounts. For this customer, at least, Daz is "a day late and a dollar short."
Yeah, I've always kind of wanted to add that carinval stuff, but this was the right price - and I also finished up my diner and drive-in collection... so a good BYOB. I suppose if this does keep up, I will be feeling the hurt.

There have been at least three or more Debut products every day that I WANTED, but I only could afford the bare minimum to trigger the other sales. Ugh, today, I also want several and thought that Still New content would trigger something today, but no... Hoping there is a catch up sale and I can afford it! Or there's always another sale....
I think I picked up all the 50's and carnival ride stuff that I didn't already have, last year for super cheap.(Which I still haven't used.) I already had the base models for most things and some textures from when they were first released! I remember a big carnival bundle ages ago at release! Again, I can't find 8 things in BYOB that I need or want. They are all just old texture sets for cars and Deco Redux and hair that I have for V4 that I can fit on Genesis.
Hopefully the next release will add more stuff I don't have. There are only 18 items out of 71 that I don't have and what is left, I wouldn't even use. Everything can use shaders for IRay or new Poser shaders for Poser making most textures (like for cars and furniture) obsolete.
Between Daz & RDNA products combined in DIM, I have over 12,000 products! Yikes! I don't even know how much I've spent over the years, but I would often fill my cart with super deals like hundreds of items for less than a dollar and many freebies so over the 12 years I've been shopping here, it averages to over 1,000 items a year! Not to mention stuff from other stores although I rarely shop at Rendo now since I started with DS last year, most of my stuff from them was for Poser which I really have to start using again if I'm doing non-realistic non-IRay generation 4 and under renders because it renders sooooooo much faster!

What's up with the shopping cart icon in the top right? It doesn't show anything, even when there are items in it.
How odd, reporting OK, someone is playing head games - as soon as I posted to say I was reporting the cart icon behaved normally for me - is it working for you now?

If anyone's interested, the regular Fast Grab section recently got a shot in the arm. It's now 2 pages long and filled with characters.

You have to buy THREE new releases just to get 12% discount on the Gift Cards? You'd have to get like a $100 card just to cover the costs of the new releases. Not a very nice deal, imo. :(
To be precise, if no new release is a must-have for you, you need to buy a Gift Card higher than $120 to get any profit of the gift card, and only if you buy the cheapest new releases AND are a PC-member. Not cool.
Yeah, it seems like the gift card deals these days are: if you're buying something ANYHOW, why not store a bunch more money with us?
Hmm. The new bundle for the week is out. It's about $30 off the PC+ price, so it's quite the deal, and I don't have any of the components.... But there's also nothing in it that particularly interests me. I know that my catalog of male characters is quite small though as I have no eye for picking them out. And there's other potentially useful stuff in there... Much thought required.
Yeah, the G3M peasant outfit that I already own is good enough for G8M. And, I'm not sure I need to redo all the MFD stuff. I love Stonemason's new Gorge. And, I really want to pick up Lyra and take advantage of the extra 10%. But dang...My piggybank is already cowering in fear. :)
OT but what is the opinion of the Prime membership at the other place? Is it worth it?
Only you can decide that. I find things over there from time to time, but I don't buy enough to justify the cost of their membership. Put things you'd like to own into your wishlist. Are there a lot of items in your wishlist? Are a lot of those items in Prime with a reduced price for members? If so, maybe the membership will be worth it for you.
It depends on your spending habits there.
I bought a Prime membership when it was first released and renewed it a few times. At that time Prime items had a fixed price (3.50$), so if you were interested in those items or the "prime classic" temporary items it was profitable very quickly, despite not being able to use coupons on Prime items. And the prime coupons were a nice bonus.
I stayed a member for one year after they changed the system, and found I didn't buy enough there from prime items at the new prices or using prime coupons to make it worth it for me, so I didn't renew it after that. I might rejoin later if I find enough interesting items to justify the price.
I don't know for you guys, but I am disapointed by this PC sale. Last year, I bough tons of things, I had many bundles (especially the G2 2USD bundles ), The pro bundles were as cheap as 17USD without a glitch (yeah some had them as low as 12 and even 7USD, but was a glitch).
This year, pro bundle best price: 33USD.
I think it is high for old bundles. Most of sales aren't better than 70%. So.....I hope that we'll see some beter deals soon...

They're talking about old Pro Bundles. They're sometimes offered for free or dirt cheap, I think that's why the reference. But I don't know what "old" means to other folks.
The pro bundles were as cheap as 17USD without a glitch (yeah some had them as low as 12 and even 7USD, but was a glitch).
Well, if you're willing to buy a new $2 product, Pro Bundles go down to $16 today.
Today I got a titanic deal on some old, doomed seafaring items in the Victorian & Edwardian category sale, and by purchasing two extremely cheap unwanted G8 items, saved about $150 on other stuff I could use. Overall, my wishlist is shrinking during this sale, so I'm pretty happy about it.
How did you get them to go down that much? I can't get mine below 31.48.

Yes, it's just a different shopping strategy over there. Once you learn the system, you can get some great deals, but only if you have Prime. I definitely shop here at DAZ a lot more, but I do find great deals over there for content that is different than what's offered here. I bought a LOT of Poser dynamic clothing in past sales over there that I'm now using with dForce. So far, no major issues, but I need to test more of them.
I must own them already, because I don't see any. I clicked on one of the "Featured Categories" in the sale and nothing showed up. Apparently I cleaned it out last year. LOL
The kind of deals where DAZ pays you to download the content, and then sends someone over to your house to install it for you.
