I grew another foot once, but did not need a third shoe.

No third shoe, but I'm often a third wheel.  frown

...at least you're not living in a fifth wheel.

Living in a fifth wheel isn't bad. I have one that I live in between the time
I sell my house and the time I get the next one repaired enough to live in.
It's amazing how much damage people will do to a house when they get
    foreclosed on.

Windows warned me I was about to be logged off two seconds before it actually restart my computer.  Bummer complaint.

Two second warning is more like a spoiler alert :)

...Oct 30th there looks like April 30th often does in Wisconsin.  We still could easily get snow.  I've seen snow as late as the last week of May

One year the commencement ceremonies at the college I was attending had to be moved into the fieldhouse as the town was blanketed by about 4" of snow overnight.  I remember seeing  the chairs and stage that were set up the day before on the lawn in front of "Old Main" for the programme covered in snow.

Blowing hot and cold sometimes at once here right now :o

...tell me about it, the place I was in which was foreclosed on looked like a hurricane went through in every room that the owners used. I had to clear stuff out of the kitchen just so I could use it while I was still there (it was probably the cleanest it had ever been in a long time). The back yard had weeds that grew almost "as high as an elephant's eye".

I was so glad when I got this apartment and was finally able to move out of there.

...the practise of making Jack-O-Lanterns first was done with turnips and potatoes.

Though I like the idea of a watermlon as you can eat what you take out of the inside.

No booze but did get candy.  I am just trying to get into NaNoWriMo spirit.  Apparently the tablet keyboard is missing the J button but it is just cosmetic, I think.  The J button works but does not say J on it or is an actual button.

...would have loved to retire to Austin, however, I hear housing prices are just about as high as here in Portland because of the tech boom there.
