I was going to suggest using the "fit to" feature but that is not what you are asking.

Morning. Stormy night giving way to luminous grey overcast day with enough gusty wind to evaporate whatever leftover moisture there was. It feels wrong to water garden in August but going to have no garden left if we don't so...

    save the pear tree!!!!

Last big dry lasted ten years or so, we just grew the canopy to our roofline and that seemed to shade the trunk enough - is well over 100 years old so the bark is thick and crumbly -  in summer to let the tree hold its own :)

has anyone figured out how to convert v4 hair to g3 without losing movement morphs?

It's a bit dated, but this thread from RamWolff helped me fit an M4 hair to Kimo: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/1866/. Ignore the thread title. I have no idea why doesn't reflect what's actually in the thread...

...moving day #1.  Getting things out of where I currently am with the help of a friend.  Boxed up all my "winter" clothing, blankets, and such (going to be in the 90s most of the week) while also setting some things aside for donation as I have to pare stuff down a bit.  Taking a break, then going to pack a few more items up before making the call.

sounds like a good day to order pizza smiley

...actually stopped at this really good neighbourhood Thai place and got Massaman Curry takeout.

...bugger,  now that things are settling down, I am finally looking at that memory upgrade for my system.  Just checked Newegg and the price for the 24 GB kit I need jumped another 10$ to 194$.  Last December when I didn't have the spare funds it was 114$.  On other sites like Amazon it is 225$ or more.

Considering I also need W7 Pro (which is another 149$ for an OEM) I'm now looking at over 300$ total (don't want a download version as I plan to do a ful clean install).  Iray rendering in CPU mode is slow enough as it is, when it dumps to virtual memory, it crawls.

Prices for the 1070 still have not come down enough, thanks to the cryptocurrency rubbish, or I'd just go that route. Crikey most are still priced as much or higher than a 1080 and some even more than a 1080 Ti.  8 GB is my low end limit as that would handle 75 - 80% of my scenes.

Playing all 7,000 or so MP3's on my computer on random sometimes leads to really interesting mixes that would never have occured to me but that strangely work. Sometimes it does something ridiculous, like the time it played three different versions of a Duran Duran song in a row, followed by Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain Kings," and then went back to the same Duran Duran song.

Today it is giving me whiplash.

It went from Imelda May to Baby Metal to The Hot Sardines to The Hellfreaks to Kaiser Chiefs to The Nearly Deads to Kaiser Chiefs to Metallica to a Debbie Gibson song that I didn't even know I owned. These songs do not go together!surprise

I hope your tooth doesn't bother you much, or at all, until he can fix it, Tjohn!  It is much better to save a tooth!

Morning. Sunny here after the big storms, and signs of life in our garden after a little rain, a butterfly lily ready to spread its wings any time soon :)

Morphing Python doesn't seem to be in my product library so I guess I never got it after it went commercial. Can't find it in any of my archives either, will just buy the lil guy since he's cute and I want him back in my Runtime~

Is also another snakie model I have that I can't track down in my backups... But I can't even remember what store I got it from :(

There's a cool snake model in the store here too, but it says it only comes in a DUF format. That may as well be a 3DSMax or Maya format for all the good it does me, so I have to pass on the guy - which is a shame since it looks pretty nice :(

What program are you using to pose your rigged models in?

so, clip this here and this there,

capacitor capacitance = 6.97 on Fluke 179. Fluke 85 only goes up to 5 ... ferrets.

where do the resistors fit in?

resistor, capacitor not the same thing.

there are sinads somewhere, too. nothing to do with sinbad of the 7 seas.

Cinema 4D R13 Visualize,  along with the InterPoser Pro  plugin to import them.  Unfortunately the plugin developer has long since left the development scene (For several reasons, most of them IRL ones)  so they never got around to updating the plugin to handle more 'modern' DAZ stuff like the DUF format.

a capacitor is like a reservoir/water tank/storage for electricity and a resistor is like a tap to control flow :)
