    Made my (hopefully final)  tweak to the scene, and rendered out another still of it before setting my laptop to work on rendering out the animation of the lil guy doing his fidgety dance. I estimate that will take a day or two to finish  ;v;

Little "eastery egg" of sorts in the corner to the left,  where I put a screenshot of the Cinema 4D program with the scene file open onto the laptop's screen,  and the books scattered on the couch.... Are actually real books I have in my room xD

I took photos of the back, cover, and spine then stitched them together in Photoshop and used them on the models here.  They can't be opened or anything, but they make for cute props ^v^  I plan on doing the same with some other books I have in my room too later on.

Why does opera act so slow right now?  Or is it not acting but is really slow on this stupid machine?  Uggghhh!

i am glad I have this stupid computer but I guess I have the tendency to call any technology that does not do what I want it to when I want it to stupid.  Even my iPhone is not immune to be called stupid.

nostalgic, 30-40 years ago, 11pm tv would play a twilight zone episode, followed by a honeymooners. heart

was even more special with movie size candy. box of snowcaps or raisinettes

nostalgia can be really painful sometimes.

In bed now but will check for holes in my eyelids pretty soon which in this case means most likely before ten pm.  It is tricky to look for holes in my eyelids as the room is pretty dark and also the medicine I took makes me drowsy and sleepy

huuuh  i subscribed to a security awareness thingie.

so like, those robot vacuums are wifi these days, they collect data about your house.

and like, this dude ordered a beer engine.  and the mfg used their shredder shreddings as packing material, and like, it was one of those cheesie shredders makes long strips, easily taped together, they sent their shredded bank statements.  moral of the story, don't use your shreds as packing material.

I did that once. Taped together a shredded document that was used as packing material,
it was someone's job application with the interviewer's notes (ugly comments).
I mailed it to the company with the suggestion that they stop doing that.
Their legal office threatened to sue me.
    Don't get involved any more.

I don't know who that is, but the reference was to Serpent, Troutface, or Woolie Loach, different aliases he used here.

...I can't wait myself for mid August to roll around. Finally I'll have my own place again and no longer living the "squatter" lifestyle I've been in for the past several months.

...Kilgore Trout was a fictional character created by Kurt Vonnegut who was also a "published" sci fi author. Trout appeared in a number of Vonnegut's novels as a recurring personality.

...uh oh, just when I thought the rest of the summer would be like it has been the last several weeks (mid 70s to mid 80s) things are about to really heat up with 3 days of 100+ temps (Wednesday's high is supposed to be 107 which would tie the all time historic record for Portland). Now I really wish I was in my new place as it has central AC.

Out of Touch?  That reminds me of someone but I cannot remember as I am distracted by men killing bees.  No not bees that kill men but bee killing men.

...why are they killing bees?  Bees are pollinators and very beneficial.

In China there are places now where all the bees are gone, humans have to pollinate the fruit trees manually there now.

The insect population in terms of "biomass" on the planet has been reduced with over 80% since 1989. I.e. only 1/5 of them left. Scientists call it the 6th Mass Extinction in the history of the planet, and human activities are the cause.

Read that Kilgore Trout's name was a play on the name of science fiction writer Theodore Sturgeon. smiley
