I bought a lot more base figures because of the very similar Tween Ryan launch sale right after I got started. I only got 30% off then because I'd picked up Mikey and Vicky and Josie for super-cheap. But people had 90% off! I was dazzled. I knew, one day, if I worked hard and spent my pennies,I too would be rewarded. >.>
I never thought it would happen again, but I was happy to see the discount, of course.
Well, the people who got the big discounts had to spend a lot of money to get them. What I've discovered here is the more money you spend, the more discounts you will get.
It's only on certain things though. I've spent a ton of money here (over the PC+ sale, then the following sale, then the Holiday sale - I spent a LOT). So it's only on certain things that you get banner discounts and that just feels pretty crummy when you're left out - despite spending a ton of money supporting the PAs and Daz Studio.
The thing most likely to get you a banner discount is having bought DO base characters from a particular generation. Every orange banner discount I've ever seen has been because I had X number of Generation 2 or Generation 3 characters.
And my discount is always pretty low, compared to the people who have bought almost every character possible from a generation.
It would be really neat if these things showed up as coupons that you could gift to other people, so if you're getting an offer you're not interested in, you can pass it to somebody who is and get them started on the road toward Downfall.
The offers on extra discounts on new figures do usually seem to be based on how many other firures you have; BUT there have been other orange banner discounts based on how much you have spent or on other things. So, not every orange banner discount depends on on how many figures you have.
I've got 60%, have five G3M Pro bundles and one standalone G3M DO base character as far as I can see. So it's probably the base characters that count (10% for each).
One of mine must not count, as I have three and only 20%. I actually bought Gianni twice, once as the base and once as the Pro bundle; perhaps they cancelled out?
A double purchase will sort of overwrite the existing item in the library and just change the purchase date / order #, so if they get the data from there it will probably only count as one.
Well, I could really use a discount on gift cards; but the price of admission is too steep -- 3, count em THREE, new releases from today's sale are required to get a mere 10% off the gift card.
Indeed, not to generous. They are also giving away two characters (M7 & V7) that I imagine the bulk of regular purchasers already own.
Heads up- 60% off flash sales on ImagineX and Collective3D at the moment. Usually more to come. Looks like Fast Grab changed a little while ago too.

The Elijah offer expires Feb 10th, 2017 11:59pm (UTC - 7), but the new $10 off $20+ on DAZ Originals (x3 uses) coupon doesn't specify an expiry date. At least, mine doesn't.
Not M7; don't like it. Actually not that big a fan of V7, although the skin textures are nice.

All the items in my wishlist that are old enough to qualify don't decrypt until August or so, so I'll skip this opportunity to spend money;-)
Can anyone find any stacking for DazO's? They are at the highest price now so hard to find a good deal even with the coupon.

3 uses at 50% off (assuming you spend JUST $20 each time...)...
But then you need to figure out the stacking discounts on top of that...
It can be a heckuva deal - if you're buying stuff you really want and need, and not just stuff that is cheap.
Or you can get $10 off on something expensive that hardly ever goes on sale...
I'm having trouble finding the balance though.
I don't know if I'll buy into this one... DAZ is going to get me to burn through my store credit before March Madness gets here. :)
LOL, yeah, just went thru the DO addons in my wishlist and in the store trying to find the best deal. A percentage off, would have been easier, but I am still thankful for the deal!
