    do you have the orange bar across the top of the page?   mine simply says 20%

    I don't really think it can be 10% per character, else some people Daz would be owing them money

    Mine is 70%. I own quite a few of the G3M Pro bundles. Picked up Elijah and hit the hair sale. Decided to wait on the FWSA stuff. Love it, but on a budget.

    It looks applied to me. You're getting 30% off the three Daz Originals first and then the 60%, for those $5-ish prices. And 60% off PC+ prices, too.

    If you're wondering where the red percentage amount are, why they aren't showing... those are from the Daz Deals browser add-on.

    Okay. I see where the confusion comes in. Bear with me...

    The three PC+ items you have in your cart are regularly $1.99 for PC+ members. With the current sale, they are 40% off if you buy only one item. The $1.19 price you see listed is $1.99 minus the 40%. If you put two in your cart, they will be $1 each which is 50% off the $1.99. And if you put three or more items in your cart, they will be 60% off the $1.99 or 80¢ each. (It is actually 79.6¢, which is why with multiple items in your cart, you'll see a 1¢ variation in prices.)

    The discounts shown for any given item in the store, (when there isn't glitch,) will be the total of stacking discounts that apply without any qualifiers. So, for example, a Daz Original will always have a 30% discount showing when a member is logged in. If a DO is also part of a catalog for a featured artist and that catalog has a 40% discount without a purchase requirement, that DO will stack the 40% on top of the 30% for a total discount of 58%.

    Unless otherwise stated, a higher discount with purchase will replace the lower discount, so in the example above, if a new release purchase increased the discount to 45%, the resulting total discount would be 61.5%, (45% on top of 30%.) The store software will probably "say" 61% but the final calculations will in fact be the 61.5%.

    I own 6 g3m originals and I got 50% so there are probably just ranges that fit into discount brackets.

    The Ryan one was 1 Gen3 = 10% stacking up to 9+ 90% - but this obviously isn't being done the same way.

    I'm sure in the past I would have leapt at a pro bundle for $30, but exchange rates are garbage and there are many other things to pay for. I do like the character though so I'm thinking about picking up the base while the discount is so good.

    Yep, exchange rates are not good right now. I got an extra 40% off Elijah which means the pro bundle is $39. But that's about $51 in AUS so definitely way out of my price range.

    I think it does. I have four or five pro bundles for G3M. The rest are bases.

    I have Michael 7 and Gianni 7 Pro bundles, and the Darius 7 figure and am entitled to 20% off, which means I'll be waiting...

    The only male pro bundle I have is the Tween Ryan one, cos the discount back them was about 90%. All the others I got as just bases.

    Nah, only 10% here with only one G3M pro bundle. I have all G2 pro bundles, but that doesn't count. :D

    I poked around and discovered I have every Genesis 3 male figure. The count by item purchased, (not including Elijah,) is 5 pro bundles, 2 starter bundles, and 4 base figures. My discount was 90%. It seems obvious their calculations to determine percentage include all the figures, not just how many Pro bundles. But beyond that, only Daz knows for sure...

    I was going to say it's n-1x10% off, where n= number of iconic male base characters for G3M you own, but I got 60% off, and Elijah makes my 7th Iconic male character.  I do have 3 G3M pro bundles, but I'm not sure where that works into the formula (other than making up the extra 10% somehow)

    Though I'm reasonably certain that 90% is the maximum.

    I received 80% off. I'm fairly certain they're taking into account general G3Male figures, i.e. including PA only items.

    I didn't know if I should make a new thread or not since I saw this one, any chance of a Zombie sale anytime soon? Got a VFX project coming up and mixing some of the Genesis 2 and Genesis 3 zombie morphs together would do just the trick.

    Well it's a day of the year, so there probably will be one coming up soon since there only seem to be 3-4 different themes for sales, and we did sci fi the other day...

    But if it's a business project I was being paid for, personally I would just buy them at whatever price since they're already cheap for a business asset.

    I have Michael 7 and Leo 7 (base figures, no bundles) and am getting 20% banner as well, so I'll be passing for now too until I can get a bigger discount. It makes me sad though, because it's the first male I've seen in a long time that I really want.

    Yeah, these banner sales really are a kick in the gut for a lot of us. While I'm happy that a lot of people got a great deal on him, it makes me feel bad to be left out.

    Well if they did base it on how many other male characters/pro bundles were bought in the past, there is reason to to feel left out since it would be of our own doing. I have no orange banner because I haven't bought any male addon character or pro bundles and while I think the new guy looks great, it doesn't bother me in the least I didn't get a discount.

    Yes, I understand that. I just feel a bit peeved because I have spent a lot in the store. OTOH I don't need G3 Males so I'm not too peeved. smiley

    I like the offers in the sense that if you buy stuff, you get rewarded (by giving them more money...) 

    I don't like them in the sense that they're secret, so the only way to know when it's broken or you're meant to have one and don't is by other posters communicating. Sales are broken around once a week if not more, so this is a very real problem for shoppers. But that's okay, because the more weird problems there are and offers missed out on, the less inclined I'll be to spend money, so I'll have more for my airconditioning bill~

    I also don't think they're very good in the sense that you don't really know when buying something will net you a discount later on. I much prefer concrete things like "buy this character and get a % discount later on the upcoming figure x." Even if I don't know what that figure will look like, or I don't wind up buying the second one, the first one now looks more tempting. Or perhaps there should just be a clear "For each G3 figure you own, the next one is an additional 1-5% off or whatever. I just dislike all the ambiguity and mystery.
