    Do a happy dance... this thread is about the Toon Generations 2, not the nursery :)  It will be in my store soon enough, and then on sale 1000 times after that

    The nursery looks great, and hopefully seeing that 3d Universe's toon characters have been a great hit, PA's will make more toon rooms and acessories. I personally feel there is now a gap in the Daz 3d market for such items.

    I agree.  But, I actually AM a fan of the toon type stuff, and I have everything I could get from Genesis all the way to Genesis 3.  Can't get enough :)  Unfortunately, I never have the time or energy to use them in renders, because I spend all my render time doing promos :(

    I keep getting this images in my head of doing a comic, with the toddler boy, kind of like Calvin and Hobbes.  I picture him wearing Dr. Dentons and a cape made from a bath towel, standing in a heroic pose as he goes to save the little girl on the playground from a crazed squirrel

    What wonderful news! I've been whining FOREVER about not having enough baby stuff in the store (or babies for that matter.) There are so many family stories to tell, and we need more family stuff. It will be great to have a nursery, and the toons look fantastic in it. You did a beautiful job on it. Please let us know when it's coming if you can.

    Some of your other sets would look great with toons too. I have Chez Lucille Hair Salon, maybe Granny Toon needs to go get her hair done there (or Pinky.) And Miranda's Ice Cream Parlor looks like it was made for toons. Same bright, fun colors.

    Tango Alpha's Apple Orchard also comes to mind. I don't have that one yet, but I bet the Toons would have a lot of fun there.

    My twins are 8 and we've been a bit nostalgic this holiday about them as babies. The nursery definitely poked that. Sniff.

    This year we really felt a chapter closed firmly.

    I think I actually remember reading in another thread where you were talking about the lack of baby stuff.  I wanted so much to comment then, but I didn't even have this finished or accepted by Daz yet.  It is through testing, but not all the way through the Daz process, so I don't even have an idea of a release date.  How about "Slosh Soon"?  LOL

    So, I realized I hadn't posted any of my Toon Generations 2 images.  It's not much, but it is a start.  This one is sort of a 'girls only' image.  I'm working on one for the boys.  I can see lots of renders in my future.  I love toons and I have quite a bit of 3D Universe's catalog in my Library.  :)

    So she just wears what she loots. she has like the gen 2 Minotaur and lizard man armour. the hex arcanum chest.lady darkness boots. a ninja set for gen 3 i got a while back. a sword for v4.

    Plus i think she is out of beer and she just wants a fight now.

    @slosh "Slosh soon" sounds good! I'll keep an eye out for it. And also for your comic with the little boy and the crazed squirrel, LOL. That sounds like it would be a lot of fun, if you find the time to do it (I feel your pain on that one!)

    @direbunny You beat me to it. I was going to see what Pinky looked like in Hex Arcanum. Just got the weapons to go with it, should be interesting. What did you use for the fire? It looks great.

    @barbult Love your renders, they're always great. These are no exception. Love the leopard dress and the flowers in her hair.

    @carrie58 Another great render! And I'm surprised how good the older Millennium backdrops look with the toons. Isn't that Harvest Moon?

    Well, the ability to use other Genesis 3 shapes, poses, props, hair and clothing just absoulte makes this line for me. I'm not even a toon kind of artist but these are so versatile. Respect!

    Has anyone else noticed the right eye seems to shift on the toons when you add a pose? It gives a crosseyed look if yoou don't catch it. It looks as if in a couple of the renders in this thread it's done it.

    I hadn't noticed but I gave mine the "goofy" expression which crosses the eyes anyway

    I've noticed that on all G3 characters...not just the Toon Generations 2. When I notice it I shift the eye back into place bu I forgot to check most times because the render is not at an angle that easily exposes the problem. It's not so noticable at every angle. there are another thread a few weeks ago pointing that out too.

    Thanks all, the fire was from Around the Campfire set that i picked up for the chistmas free stuff. a little post for the sparks flying off teh fire and smoke, added a little glow in post also but it looked pretty good in teh raw render too.I did have to set it up for 3dl though i think it was iray only.

    Hmm, I just noticed it with them. I guess I noticed it with them as I haven't used G3 much before the toons.

    Yes! I try to manually adjust it, because I don't like that cross eyed look. It is hard to get it looking right, though.
