    I think it was really great of DAZ to put the products from the bundles on sale as individual items. In the past, at least the past two years anyway, the items in the bundles didn't get any special sales discounts.

    And I think she is very pretty.

It would be pushing things -- really really REALLY hard -- to call it "clearly labeled", but if you're willing to squint a little, the render before the Poser render definitely says "3Delight render".     I include at least one 3delight render of all my hairs sold by Daz. And iff the hair fits genesis 2 I also include a Poser render, eg Tyler Hair recently. I'm still on the "if the mat is included, show a render" team :) 

    Note: The "3delight render" logo is not strictly Daz official... Daz official is if a DS render doesn't say "iray" then it's meant to be 3delight as 3delight was the original default engine.  

    And obviously the Poser render logo is not Daz official... 

    I'm just glad Daz are letting me keep using them ;) 

     

    I only use Daz Iray but I'm sure that those who use Poser and 3Delight appreciate the extra effort you put into the promo renders. 

    Your products are always top notch! Not only are the hair products you put out amazing but I use your G3 "eyes set" every day - and the included HDRI light and render setting is outstanding! Thank you! :)

    She looks very like Izabella to me, who I've already got to fill the "fairie" niche. This one seems...redundant? Maybe it's because I lean toward more realistic looking characters, which this is not ;). But she seems rather "ho hum". Here's looking forward to Lilith and Lucien (and Darius and Monique) ;).

    She's Ysabeau 6 for Genesis 3!  Well, not literally, but when Ysabeau was released I had the same reaction being discussed here - An "official" character that doesn't seem to match up to the other "official" characters.

    Yeah, I'd actually put money behind it being a Thorne character. She's very Thorne like, imo. :)

    Mei Lin 7: Asian

    Izabella 7: Fae / Teen

    Guy 7: Toon
    Girl 7: Toon

    Gianni 7: Athletic
    Gia 7: Athletic

    2015

    Leo 7: Hollywood Greek Athletic Action
    Olympia 7: Athletic

    Michael 7: "Base" + Attractive + Athletic

    Arabella 7: Thin / Vampire
    Teen Josie 7: Teen
    Karen 7: Athletic

    Eva 7: Athletic
    Victoria 7: "Base" + Attractive + Athletic

     

    The males are actually doing pretty well in this generation (for once.) But there is so much overlap with the females...

    I don't think the figures fill niches quite that specifically - "Hollywood Greek Athletic Action" doesn't really strike me as a niche.

    I'd break them down more like this (Build/Theme):

    Victoria 7/Michael 7:  Average/Everyday

    Eva 7: Tall/Everyday

    Karen 7: Athletic/Superhero

    Bethany 7: Voloptuous/Fantasy

    Arabella 7: Thin/Vampire

    Teen Josie 7: Average/Teen

    Olympia 7/Leo 7: Athletic/Greek

    Girl 7/Guy 7: Stylized/Toon

    Izabella 7: Average/Fantasy

    Mei Lin 7/Lee 7: Athletic/Asian

    Kalea 7/Kimo 7: Average/Islander

    Rune 7/Ivan 7: Athletic/Barbarian

    Aiko 7/Kenji 7: Average/Anime

    Tween Julie 7/Tween Ryan 7: Average/Young Teen

    Sunny 7: Average/Everyday

    I'm basing the themes off of a combination of the products in each pro bundle and how the character is marketed.

    Edited to reflect Eva 7 is actually taller than Victoria 7.

    I think Eva is more of a tall skinny/toned while Stephanie was short skinny/toned rather than athletic.

    Her product page says...

    Her lean yet athletic body makes her a perfect addition the Genesis 3 family. Her petite small frame still maintains a spunk and edge all the while keeping true to the softer side of her Eva with her delicate features and feminine frame.

    Height: 5' 11" (181.1 cm)

    I like Eva but she doesn't really have an identity as a main figure and Daz's description is just a bunch of feminine traits picked at random.

    And there is nothing "average" or  "everyday" about Victoria 7. She's tall, curved in the right places, but also athletically muscled well beyond an average person.

    I would have liked Sunny to be an updated Kimberly type too. I do like this Sunny too, but her name does not fit her at all.

    If Sunny 7 is meant to be your college/early 20's girl, then I guess she covers a lot of what Stephanie was aimed at. Does this make Sunny then new Stephanie, and Stephanie will thus skip generation 7? Has anyone seen any fit morphs or other hints regarding Stephanie 7?

    I was thinking that initially too, especially since Stephanie always seems to have fitness things and Sunny has her dance/aerial stuff.

    No hints any way or another on Stephanie as yet. Just Lilith and then Monique.

    No hints at Stephanie 7, only Lilith 7 and Monique 7 so far.

    And yeah we could call almost every figure athletic but I think that athletic Eva is something completely different than athletic Rune or Gia :D

    I guess Rune and Gia could then be in the muscular category.

    I like some of the skin textures, but I think I may pass on this one.  No real variety here.  Interested in Lilith and Monique, though.

    She *Is* a Thorne character.  That is obvious. I'm not personally a fan of the large eyed baby face, woman-child  look, but lots of people like that. Not sure the need for another base like this though.

    I do like some of the outfits like the aerieal dancer outfit 

    Oddly, every time I look at the character the first thing I see is her eyebrows. They look off to me... Kind of painted on looking.

    Oh yeah, another DAZ addon character!!! <- (sarcasm) I honestly don't see the point (again). Anyhoo, she looks nice, just not all that different from most of the other characters out there. I just hoipe no vendor character comes out I like that requires her morph, luckily she has no special UV set.

    She looks like a Thorne doll - for people like me who like Thorne dolls that is great.

    For somebody who wants only realistic dolls, she probably doesn't work so well.

     

    Personally I sometimes like realistic (George and Opal) and sometimes cute dolls.

    Now I just need money ... LOL

    Exactly my point (well, for the first sentence)

    For the second part (char conversion), I'm thinking, actually. I'm trying to gather some info of what I need. My main problem is: having the closest conversion from V4 chars to G3F.

    Here is an example: Pix-Mitsuko. I was disapointed to see the new G3 one. The one I love is the old one http://www.daz3d.com/pix-mitsuko

    I really like the morph of this char, its very personal face, and the skins options. 

    Another example: most of MRL char at rendo have a GREAT face and personality. One of my fav is mrl-hedera-bane

    Why can't we get such things in G3? 

    I'll open a thread to see what results the pros can get to convert those from v4 to G3...

    Really disappointed in Sunny-cute, but ho hum- another pixie faced, Caucasion. Honestly, she looks like a pretty easy dial spin.

    I wish they'd have Chevybabe25  sculpt a Latina/Italian!!

    At least we got Draupadi-who is absolutely gorgeous.

    SUNY Test - Basic iRay Render. I can say that I had a few problems with the top on Filia for some reason, so I did a minor amount of post-work to at least get rid of pokethrough.

    Thorne is a content creator, and her characters tend to have a distinctive style. She's created some of the base characters for DAZ, like Ysabeau, Izabella, Julie, Justin, ... and now Sunny.
