I have a separate account that I use for demonstrations (showing people what they can do without spending a lot of money), which has never spent a dime here. It's always nice to get useful free items for that account, so the new ones are welcome.
DAZ needs to change the banner for the Mega Fast Grab, or put back the G1 and G2 products... According to the banner, there are "1000's of Genesis & Genesis 2 items" but a quick check with the filters shows 2 items for Genesis 2 Females and 91 items for Genesis... (And the 2 for G2F are hair that fits both G2F and Genesis...)
Not to be nit-picky, but the banner is totally misleading...

I picked up the Aiko 3 Pro bundle for less than $6 bucks in the Mega Fast grab with the purchase of one of the releases today.
I already had some things in my cart, so I added Behind the Neighborhood, and it came up at 75% off. It's acting as if it's part of the Mega Fast Grab...
ETA: Same thing with one of Dreamlight's products...
I'll have to go back and look. When I opened the page half an hour ago, there were only a few more items than the 6 originally there...
ETA: Dreamlight's stuff isn't listed on the MFG page, though, but the discount in the cart with a new release is 75%...
Oh, they added even more stuff. Okay, we'll have to keep an eye on today's mega fastgrab. :)
That's really irritating though because I already bought and paid for my new release which gave me an extra 10% off. If they added more stuff after that, I can't get the same price as I would have if it was all there from the beginning today. And I'm not buying ANOTHER new release to get the discount. So I guess I am done shopping today.
Customer Support is usually able to help in this case.
Oh, and by the way, the mega fastgrab now has 240 items!
Eh, not worth the effort. I don't NEED to spend anymore money today. But if it all would have shown this morning I would have purchased more.
215 of the items in MFG today are from Dreamlight. Most of those are video tutorials, though he has some nice, older, models. His store also goes on Flash Sales fairly often. And it's usually a better discount than 60%, for some reason. I even saw it at 85% once. If you don't want to wait, you should be able to pick them up now, and get the difference credited by CS. But if you're not in a hurry, they'll (probably) be on sale again in the not-too-distant future.
Last Cyber Sale, I think his stuff went on sale at 90% off, which was fantastic. I'm really hoping they run specials like that again this season.

Had the same thing happen to me. A little irritated... but not worth hassling with customer support for returns and credits. But it'll stop me from buying additional items today.
This sale has been underwhelming... the high points so far have been Pre-Genesis generation 3 characters like V3, M3 and A3... and by all accounts, they've been a little too expensive for what they are.
I did pick up Aiko 3 for less than $7 today. I don't really need the tutorials, I wait for those be discounted a bit more. The last one I bought was 90% off. They are good tutorials. I am kind of boycotting Dreamlight though. I purchased items from his website over a year ago and have yet to recieve four of the items. I started a ticket, the girl was super helfpul and worked on it for a long time. ended up sending it to tech support and never heard another word about it. So, I am not purchasing anything else from him, as much as I like his tutorials I am not buying anything else til its resolved. Wasn't bought here but on his website.
Akio 3 was over $7 for me... but I used my PC coupon so she only cost me a little over a buck... which was the right price. I figured that was a PERFECT thing to use the $6 coupon on.
And now I don't have to worry about using that one again until October. :)

Yeh been like that a while; i'm still rediscovering (presuming I ever really knew I'd bought em) items in my runtime, and on a regular basis.

Does Someone Know if the Kaleidoscope works with Iray?
I searched in the forums and yes it does, but you have to apply a chrome shader to it. Also, it leaves a shadow. You can find more info in it's product / commercial thread, at about page 4 or 5.
"The Police Car" would be too much if they were giving it away. It would look bad in an Android mobile port of GTA 3.
Seriously. $14.95 is regular price? If it were $4.95 regular price and on sale for $.99... I *might* think about it. I'm sure it is just old and at one point it was cutting edge... but "$4.95 on sale" today seems about four bucks too much.

I don't know, slap some iray shaders on it and suddenly you have a classic police cruser. I'm sure someone, somewhere would find it helpful for a scene they want to create. :) That's one of those items that could definitely use an updated promo image or two. lol
