Trying to use the byof sale for the second time, and I'm getting an error that the coupon isn't valid. I looked at the vendors, deci6el, Orestes Graphics, and Polish; none of them seem to be involved in a current sale. Some others reported that blocking their use of the coupon. Any ideas?

My offer this morning says " please enjoy an EXTRA 20% OFF* all-new releases and featured artist catalogs" - I added the new item from Orestes Graphics in my cart and don't see an additional 20% off.  Anyone else have an issue?

• You can find new icons for loading this product in the following DAZ Studio Folders:

• You can find new icons for this product in the following DAZ Studio Categories:

You first select the Light Presets file. That will load the sky. The render settings than will adapt the rendering parameters.

As this is Iray, and a HDRI Sky, you will only be able to see it when you render.

I bought the Orestes gloomy skydomes, but not sure how they work. I've installed and found a handful of items marked "render" but when I double click on one, it doesn't have any effects on the scene? Are these only visible in rendering?  Is there some other item I'm suppose to load and then apply these as materials?

This was mine. I went for My Little Lake as the new qualifying product. I already had most of the sets in that sale. @ladair you got some great stuff!!!

I figured it out. Sedor and Orestes both make iray skies. When I was looking for my sky products, I saw a Sedor one that I thought I owned.

Turns out, I must have placed it in the cart when it was on sale (several times) and never pulled the trigger.

So when I store search, it only shows result thumbnails and doesn't break it down by Owned and Wishlist until you expand a section of results.

Sometimes you win and see something you want and then realize you already own it.

Other times....it was only on your wishlist. 

Looking at my cart, the few sets I got were Bitwelder, which were 65% off. Orestes skydome HDRI's were 58%. 

So what did you folks pick up?  Oh, also, Creech Evolution (male and female) were 70%. 

Orestes Graphics has a nice collection of pumpkins and a cornfield.

And a DO pumpkin patch here that you could strip the "spooky" out of.

I see I'm overdue for posting something here…

My lastest render took a few hours to setup in DS. I let it render overnight, and as Hubby and I were out of town for the afternoon, I let it render until we got back. I stopped it at 72K samples. I know that sounds excessive, but I wasn't using the computer, and when it comes to fine details in dark areas, longer rendering is always better. There is some faint blue in the sky that didn't show up for several hours, so that was an added bonus, too. And with the beast, the render averaged 4K samples per hour. I would have used it with fewer samples if I hadn't been gone. Anyway…

I actually spent more time with the post work then setting up the scene. I'm a big fan of HDRIs for lighting and the occasional background. This one is from Orestes Eventide set and makes a really nice sky, but as large as I like to render images, there were some artifacts. I was able to smooth that out a bit in Photoshop without losing too much detail. I could have stopped there, with minimal postwork, but I know many of my images could be better with some effects, so I tinkered with the Nik Collection and ended up using Viveza.

Well the store got my business today. Picked up the new EJ character Anders  which looks great comes with another useful pair of underwear/ shorts. I also picked up the shackled set. The night woods Orestes hdri, and shaders by pd.

I think EJ  do great men and men’s things... so am happy to give them my business. I get a ton of use from the swimsuit  that came with Hugo.

I'm really liking Greg's stuff.  He's been uploading new HDRIs weekly for a while now, offers them for free, and offers 1K, 2K, 4K, 8K, and 16 K sizes for each of them... I finally noticed the thread in Freebies, and am hooked...

There's somewhere around 60+ different HDRI's in the collection currently.
