It only matters if you're ever going to use that stuff. And if I'm honest, I know I won't.

The contents of the Gold Ticket DO bundles so far have been excellent, and today's are also excellent, but I especially love "XI Luxury Shop." The theme and store design perfectly fill the gaps in our product line; it's arguably my favorite "shop" this year.

Today’s GT bundle is once again very generous. Even so, I only bought it because of Xivon’s Luxury Shop and Neftis3D's hair. Although I like Colm Jackson’s models, I really don’t need any more white young women in my life. Similarly, I neither need nor want high-heeled, seemingly ill-fitting shoes or anything like the Urban Crush outfit. And I generally find clothes (and hairstyles, btw) designed according to the ‘Vokuhila’ principle (the German acronym for 'Vorne kurz, hinten lang', meaning ‘short at the front, long at the back’) to be disproportionate.

  • The only problem with the GT bundle is the contents don't really lend themselves to genres I do. sad

It's 6 items for less than $3 total and even contains one outfit for both G8F and G9, as well as a hair that's about as non-restricted in terms of time, style, fashion, and setting as possible, while the set/environment includes a whopping 66 static props that can be reused seperately.  I see it as a major kit-bashing bonanza that happens to have a G9 figure included for literal pocket change.

I agree, it's pretty hard to beat.

@Cybersox that was very convincing laugh

It's a gorgeous bundle - and I agree with the kitbashing comments yes - and a great starter discount on 3 (G8) DO Pro Bundles and a not at all shabby discount off a New release

    GT Discount / the 30-4-30 banner coupon / 8 tokens = $597.83 worth of kit (at-no-one-pays-it price) for $28.07 (95.3% discount)

(I could have saved another $1.50 using the $10-off-$25 instead of the banner... but there's plenty of time to go with that)

    A very brilliant deal smiley

I have a very difficult time passing on those kinds of deals, and today, although you have to buy a new debut release, the deal on Faveral and Zevo are real good as well. Just do bundles and save a ton. Yeah, older stuff, but even if it isn't wrokable now, you're not out much to even give it a try.

Yep, those are great deals... or would be, if I didn't already own every single product from both of them.  As it is, I'm kind of worried about the lack of a new Zev0 release in the last year.  They may have just hit the limits of what they wanted to do with G9, but they had promised some products that required a scripting partner that never materialized.

  • kprkpr Posts: 460

I managed to find 2 Zev0 G9 I didn't have (!), so pleased to get those - inc a bundle - so discounted. (I have a ton of Zev0 G8 kit and find them very, very useful). The Lexa morphs also look great (a lovely GT, two days running) smiley

Tokens do not apply to the $7.99 offer.

What I find most odd about the catch-up part is these items were $3.99 ($2.99) when they came out and I didn't want them. Now I'm supposed to be interested for $2 more?

And the $7.99 thing, with the $5.99/4.99 buy in costs more than applying tokens.

And the $7.99 thing costs more if you don't own one of the current golden tickets.

Raining Gold doesn't seem like much of a deal:

Get up to 5 Debut New Releases for $7.99 each with a Golden Ticket and Still Gold item

If the new release's regular 45% off price is less than $11.41 (which most of them are today) you'll pay more for them with a Golden Ticket + a Still Gold than you would with just a Golden ticket (or just by owning a golden ticket from the last couple of days).

I have only experienced it once or twice so far that I bought something at a catch-up sale that I did not want before. However, customers may have to wait for their paycheque to be in the account. In the USA, payment follows a different mode than in Europe (or at least in Germany), I think.

The discounts at this supposedly so great 'Raining Gold' are actually strange.

  • so the new releases today don't all discount to $7.99 each with todays golden ticket or am I reading it wrong as you also have to include a still gold golden ticket item as well to get the discount but what if you already owned/bought all the golden tickets does that mean no $7.99 discount with todays golden ticket

I doubt anyone buys every golden ticket in one of these sales. (I'm close. There were only 2 items in my catch-up page.)

  • Despite being on a self-imposed daz store ban, I had some tokens to use before they expired. Picked up yesterday's Zoey GT bundle and cleared a few Colm Jackson items off my wishlist. When I saw that the CJ items were going into my basket under $2 each for G9 HD with the MARTIN-RAIN-30 code, I added as many as I could up to the limit. Sadly, there's no MJF items that I need as I splurged on his stuff a while ago. I was surprised to see that the code worked on CJ stuff though.

Well... some of us may be more foolish than others... So, I have collected all the golden tickets in this iteration, the only one left to get is today's. Owning ALL the previous golden tickets DOSE NOT get the $7.99 price for debut new Items.

Way to go... disrespect loyal patrons by locking them out of the deals.

Well, you are not missing out on much. When you own a Golden Ticket most of today's Debut New Releases are below $7.99 WITHOUT any Golden Ticket item in your cart

Yes, USA pay schedules are different. Pay once a month, which I've heard is common in Europe,  is very uncommon here. Once a week or every 2 weeks are typical. It's up to the employer, as long as they comply with the state's wage laws, which give a deadline for issuing pay, for example "no more than X days later."

Lamest PA sale, since I joined... I'll probably end up with more credit money than when it started. And I doubt I'm the outlier, odd exception... Hoping they learn the lesson for next year.

My dad was once a month (before he retired). I got the impression that it was to reduce the workload for the payroll department.  I've had a couple jobs that were 1st and 15th as paydays. Based on when the support payments come through, apparently my ex- gets paid whenever the company gets around to it (I'm thinking maybe he's not good about turning in his time card by the deadline?).
