My issue with this is the lack of labels. I don't want to purchase a figure and find out later from a reader that my main character looks exactly like some movie star I've never heard of.

Protip: Never use a single purchased character model at 100% for what's supposed to be an orginal character. Always mix bits and pieces of 2 or more together, and ideally have one of those be an identified likeness (because the most sure-fire way to create something original is to start with something that isn't and work away from that.)

Yeah, I know that. Except mixing just changes "That looks exactly like..." into "That looks kind of like..."

Yes. Exactly like real life. Originality is a myth propagated by people who don't do enough research.

  • CNB Corinna cnb-corinna-and-expressions-for-genesis-9 is very reminiscent of Penelope Ann Miller. YMMV, but I have a high degree of confidence.

I'm almost 100% certain that is supposed to be Danielle Marsh, a K-Pop idol.

If you compare, for instance, the two promos with her in the yellow dress with matching headband and a subtle expression against younger photos of Penelope Ann Miller, you might discover a degree of convergence. As well as her more Caucasian features vs Danielle Marsh's more obviously ethnic Asian features. But, as I originally stated, YMMV and two promos are scarcely conclusive but merely suggestive.

It's important to note that not every figure in the DAZ catalog is based on a celebrity. I don't see a lot in Cinnabar's store that screams celebrity look-a-like, so it's very likely that we're all just reading a bit too much into what the figure looks like. To me she's reminicent of Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones, but I think it's highly unlikely that the artist designed this figure to look like any particular celebrity.

Its also possible simetimes that the promo creators see a similarity and run with it.

I was wondering if there's one resebles with Adria Arjona

If you're working in Genesis 8/8.1, I believe HID Dannie for Genesis 8.1 is intended to be her... The height is right, and a quick glance at IMDB tells me she played "Dani Silva" in Person of Interest so the name could be in reference to that.

I don't know if there has been one for Genesis 9 yet, through, sadly... Would love to see a newer take on her.

    Thank you so much!

I'm less convinced on this one, though I can see why you might think so. Not that anyone on this thread values my opinion, since I tend to qualify my opinions as opposed to stating absolutes these days.
