    Isabella 9 is out!  I'm surprised they didn't name her Margo... that might have been too obvious though.  wink

    Yup, same here.

    This topic is valuable to me because over half the celebrities named aren't ones I could spot, and I want to avoid widely recognized faces when I develop characters for my images and stories.

    I recognized her right away. First thing I remember seeing her in is Maleficent and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (with Angelina Jolie).

    While I don't consider myself elderly... I'm a Gen X'er.  I do mostly watch only streaming.  I suppose my comment was directed at those who know Elle Fanning's work, "Margo's Got Money Troubles" being a more recent addition.  It was based on a novel though. angel 

    If you don't watch TV much, I guess that's all the better, as you can look at the character with a fresh perspective.  I do think it is a very good likeness.  Maelwenn has done a great job!  Perhaps better than some of the "professional" video game one's out there that have been created from her movie characters.

    Yeah, generalizing isn't good. Could be different, just because my base of thought is Germany, not the USofA and old people here might be different than those in the US. At least those like me and the ones that I know surely are.

    And all I ever need to know about empathy was taught to me by my grandaunt, my mother and - of  course - my wife. Wouldn't expect to be able to learn much new from an US TV show

    I'll say Jean/Maxine hits closer to the mark than Clarice. I likely didn't comment before because I don't visit this thread that often and sometimes I just lurk.

    I would say Clarice is closer to her appearance in Taxi Driver than as Clarice Starling in Silence of the Lambs. Compare, e.g.

    Also, the product copy amusingly lists her height as 4'12".

    To the best of my knowledge, "baby boomer" is largely an Anglosphere thing. And within that cohort, there are small-b boomers, and then there are capital-B "OK Boomers". Dolly Parton and Sam Neill were the former, while the latter we all know who.

    That second picture looks like a VYK girl to the point that, if you asked "Who's the vendor?" I'd have said VYK. Weird!

    If you're working in Genesis 8/8.1, I believe HID Dannie for Genesis 8.1 is intended to be her... The height is right, and a quick glance at IMDB tells me she played "Dani Silva" in Person of Interest so the name could be in reference to that.

    I don't know if there has been one for Genesis 9 yet, through, sadly... Would love to see a newer take on her.

    At first, Chrryt's new Vilo was just giving vague Brandon Lee/Crow vibes, but the logo on the bass drum gave away who it's actually supposed to be: Ville Valo, singer for the Finnish goth rock band HIM.

    While it would be a stretch to call me "young", the average age of a Daz forum resident appears to be in the mid-70s, and I'm well below that.
