Great, I've let them know about wrong folder. Surely that has to be solved somehow as well.
After installing the DS4 update for Camera Manager plugin that appeared a week ago that @barbult warned everyone about on July 10, I was able to manually recover the plugin because I did not overwrite the previous plugin in my product archive. Two days ago, there was another update in DIM that corrected the update from removing it from DS4. Today, there was another plugin update in DIM and, thinking that it fixed all previous errors, I installed it via DIM. Today’s update for DS4 deleted Camera Manager from DS4! Again, I manually recovered the plugin using the download on July 14.
Hmmm that sounds a little weird though. Have you tried maybe uninstalling/reinstalling the package? Maybe it got confused because it found the DLL that it thought wasn't there... or... something? Who knows anymore.
Downloaded the DS4 zip from my account and it's in there at least. Could still be something wrong with the DIM package of course.
The install that I posted about earlier was on my Windows 10 laptop. Just a few minutes ago, I tried the two new BJ plugin updates on my Windows 11 desktop. If first checked that the Camera Manager and Selection History plugins were available in DS4; they were. I then used DIM to uninstall Camera Manager. I then used DIM to install the updates for Camera Manage and Selection History. The install for Selection History was OK; the plugin is still available in DS4. The update for Camera Manager, however, deleted the Camera Manager plugin from DS4.
Update: I think I solved the problem. The update for Camera Manager did not install its plugin folder in the correct location. Selection History installed its plugin folder at C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\docs\Plugins on my computer. Camera Manager, though, installed its plugin folder at C:\Program Files\plugins. When I manually moved the Camera Manager’s plugin folder to C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\docs\Plugins, the Camera Manager plugin appeared in Installed Plugins and in Windows/Panes (Tabs).
C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\docs\Plugins
Not docs I hope, probably typo right. Manual would be there.
I will pass on the other info. Apologies again for the mess...
Edit: oh but rereading that you mention the docs folder again and the plugin works inside of that? Huh... why would plugins be in the docs folder
I have these plugins. And only some of them seem to have installed although DIM says they are all installed. This is exported from DIM.
And there's a dsp_BJ_PoseZone.DLL in my DS6 plugins directory.
When I installed them, neither version of DS was running.
What a mess ~ Some package file name used to be with -01_, then changed to -02_, esp. for DS 6... is that the cause ? Have you deleted the old (wrong) packages ?
I mean the "-01_" in the file name of IM00092616-01_BJCameraManagerPluginDS4 and "-02_" in the file name of IM00092616-02_BJCameraManagerPluginDS6 ... but the package name of DS6 version used to be IM00092616-01_BJCameraManagerPlugin in which there was DS6 plugin enclosed but with a wrong installation path defined for DS4 rather than DS6...
Now it seems the issue on your side didn't come from that error ~~ I have no idea by now.
Re: 01/02: Oh. Didn't even see those. It seems I don't have 01s and 02s for the same plugin, which is what I think you were implying.

I tried uninstall, reinstall on the camera. Not fixed.
DIM should use the paths configured for DS6 and DS6 beta in the "Applications" tab of DIM settings for install (at least if the manifest included in the DS6 package has been setup properly), so maybe check the value you have for those.
As noted in an earlier post, I solved the problem on my computer by moving the BJ_CameraManager.dll file. Since Camera Manager became available after I moved the file, that indicated to me that the problem was not in the DLL file but in where it was installed by DIM.
A new update for Camera Manager appeared in DIM today. I manually downloaded the new update and compared the Manifest files from yesterday’s update and today’s update. Both Manifest files state that BJ_CameraManager.dll is to be installed in the same wrong location on my computer - C:\Program Files\plugins - and not at C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\docs\Plugins.
I installed DS6 yesterday and decided to give the DS6 updates for Camera Manager and Selection History a try. I installed them both with DIM and, just like the DS4 updates, Selection History installed fine and was available in DS6 but Camera Manager was not. I tracked down where the Camera Manager had installed its files and found the same issue that the DS4 updates had. Camera Manager had installed dsp_BJ_CameraManager.dll at C:\Program Files\plugins. When I manually moved the file to C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio6\plugins, the Camera Manager plugin appeared in Installed Plugins and in Windows/Panes (Tabs) in DS6.
Should be fixed now from what I hear. Fingers crossed.
For me personally, I have fixed the issues on my computers. I hope others have not had the same issues. Thanks much for the dedication that you give to supporting users of your products.
Will there be another release of Camera Manager after July 17? I got both DS4 and DS6 updates for that last night and it still put the camera DLLs in the wrong place. At this moment, BJ Shelf for DS4 and both BJ Selection Helpers are waiting to be downloaded in DIM.
