    A return policy on freebies? I'm pretty sure it's against the return policy to return an item you bought in order to buy it again at a lower price (or get it for free). I never wanted to do that, so I've no idea how it works in practice. I've only actually returned one item in all the time I've been here.

    Amazing what a decent set of textures can do for a Sci-Fi 'complex' (if they scrub up)... Make a nice entryway to an underground bunker too

    And a decent Daz+ room interior, seemingly from back when room interiors were much 'lighter' than they appear to be nowadays wink

    If someone got the Maxi Outfit who was free two days ago on Renderosity, by default, the tong won't load on G8.1F without the autofitting dialog box popping in.

    It's easily fixable and the mistake is the missing preferred_base in the thong geometry file. The easiest way to do so is to open MaxiThong_10716.dsf, Maxi_Bra_10837.dsf and compare the presentation section:

    One has a preferred_base set to 'Genesis 8/Female', the other does not . You can either just copy-paste the missing line (don't forget to add a coma at the end of the previous line) or simply replace the whole section (I don't know if adding Follower type is needed: both ways of fixing the problem ended with the thong loading without autofitting):

    It should now loading flawlessly on Genesis 8.1 too.

    (I don't really understand why the missing preferred_base doesn't impact loading the product on Genesis 8 though).

    Elor you might want to check the DUF file as well, odds are it was saved as a Scene Subset rather than a Wearable, which means the DUF will be missing the auto-conform code, as a result DS needs the CMS to force the conform when you load it.

    Today's freebie https://www.daz3d.com/cij-ethereal-wand maybe be bug, it not show in my DIM or show any dowload/instal green button went I click it on my product library.

    @riuken1 > It has been reported and forwarded, so now, we can only wait for someone to get into Daz office, because usually, this kind of problems are not fixed by the person on-call to fix bugs on the shop (I don't know if it's because they can't fix it or simply because it's not urgent and can wait a couple of hours).

    Just checked the freebie page, nothing new has posted yet.  Only items I'm seeing when I unhide items I own are the Kin Character, Hair and Poses, and the Cuffed Jeans Outfit that are usually present.

    Open the DUF in a text editor, line 5 should read as - "type" : "wearable",

    If it shows anything else then it wasn't save properly.

    The attached inage shows the problem area to look for, the line with the red arrows will be missing if it wasn't saved properly.

    They both have it:

    I also checked another product with the same problem (for Genesis 8 but will open a auto-fit dialog on Genesis 8.1) and it also has the conform "conform_target" : "name://@selection:" (I also solved the problem the same way, by adding the missing preferred_base in the geometry file of that product).

    Depending  on the luck of the sales and what bills I have, it is sometimes the highlight of my paycheck weeks. 

    From what I read in the Reporting thread, Daz decided to skip it, except for the 4 permanent freebies, due to providing daily freebies. So we Biweekly Freebie Fans will come out even or ahead depending on how long Christmas in July lasts.

    They rarely drop the bi-weeklies even if they have free stuff, so I think this is a bug of some sort.
