Will the PA's who's plugins we using let us know if / when they have updated purchased software once they made it DAZ6 compatible you guys think? Or do we just check back on the product pages from time to time?

    It depend on the PA.

    E.g. V3digitimes has this thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/728061/v3digitimes-daz-studio-2025-6-compatibility-status#latest

And Bluejante has mentioned that he has updated all his, and now pending QA.

Just check them in DIM from time to time... If the DS6 version's plugins are released, they should appear under Ready to Download tab in DIM.

I think checking the product page of each plugin might be cumbersome ~~

Thank you for answers. I am honestly only after Man Friday's Bookmark and Mesh grabber to work in DAZ6. And would like Animate2 to work also.

Mesh Grabber by Man Friday will never work in Daz6 because it is already part of Daz6 Premiere. Man Friday sold his plugins to daz well over a year ago and they were made part of Premiere. Anyone who owned them could still use the non-premiere versions in 4.xx. But there's no one who is going to convert them to 6.

Oh didnt know that. i read about the hair adjusting facility in new Daz6.

Ok so i kinda now figured it all out. For Bookmarks i just use Favorites option. Create new "Custom Action" and then I edit if i want to in F3/Menu bar if need be.can just use

Will we be able to change the font size in the new DAZ Studio 6?!

I thought I heard the new version of their "author" software would allow that change?

Switching to a newer version of Qt was a requirement, but just the framework change is not enough to have that feature. It will likely be implemented in a future version.

They have been saying that for more than 11 years so I'm not holding my breath.

I pretty much gave up on paying for DAZ software years ago.

First I paid for DAZ Studio Advanced, then it was free. I bought Mimic, Carrara, Hexagon, etc only to see them abandoned.

I recently got some new plugins or programs... but they're already outdated with DAZ Studio 6.
