  Perfectly understandable and realistic comedown reactions from them both. Not necessarily the most useful for their relationship, but understandable.

  Leaves me wondering.. does the humiliated dad just slink away accepting being thrown bodily out of the door? Probably not. His reaction is likely to be closer to a firebomb level reaction than to quiet acceptance, and next step after that go nuclear; He does seem a little volatile. Oh what fun is to be had.

  Yeah, firefighters are often exhausted coming off their shifts, where catching a quick nap might be next to impossible. It was mainly the poker playing that bothered her.

  Thank you, Coliaz, and let me return the compliment.  I've been following Adam, Jacob and Joi on and off for years and what has always impressed me is how real they seemed.  That you can sustain this for so many years is amazing!  Hope I have as much imagination.
