Again, that is not when you import in blender, it's right in daz studio that you get black eyes, thus they are exported to blender. The reason is you miss the sclera material. What you need to ask is how to apply the G9 eyes materials in daz studio, that I explained as well but evidently you need a better explanation than what I can do. So perhaps someone else can explain it better.

Yup i repost to found better response, i didn't understand why the basic body G9 eyes does not work. I have open your eyes.duf and in daz they have all materials but when i star new project. Whether it's with the base model or a character like Kait, I always have the same problem and this lack of materials.
I suppose you mean Kat for G9. If loading the Kat figure you get black eyes in daz studio, then you have something wrong in your library. You can try to reinstall the G9 base package. Do not mix dim and connect as connect is known to cause issues. Also if you upgraded daz studio from an old version, be sure to reinstall the default resources as they're different among versions. Finally, you can check the log to see if some error or missing files or duplicates are reported there.

I cannot speak for Blender but most G9 eye material's textures are Temp files only loaded when DAZ Studio is open and deleted afterwards
catches me out with obj and FBX exports constantly
That is LIEs which are baked into temp files, it's normal in daz studio. The issue Dude is having is he misses the sclera material in daz studio, has nothing to do with blender. Specifically, as for diffeomorphic, the original textures are used and LIEs are rebuilt in blender, so the baked temp files are not used.
OK sorry, I did say it was obj and FBX in my case though
