This issue only arises if the Athletic Shape is installed, and not by the Sigrid character itself, correct?

The one where Sigrid is applied to all Genesis 9 figure?

In this case, no, it'll only happen if you have installed the Premier shape: the athetic shape had the problem reported by @memcneil70 but I think it was fixed already.

It's getting hard to tell these Daz Original characters apart. Don't we already have a viking theme with Ivar and Freja?

I like the consistency of daz originals in art style/pack contents, but there feels like there's so much redundancy in the characters coming out recently. Even Tara and Ava had some spice to them, while still having the option for "modern caucasian women" for those who don't want any quirky elements.

Can we please get more skin variety? How about an alien with large eyes and a small nose? How about human characters that come with a secondary skin that makes them look more scifi or fantasy? How about a fantasy monster like the werewolf pack from ages ago? Lahr and Niketa were great too!

Not just difficult to tell the characters apart but, to an increasing degree, futile to even attempt to do so.

These bundles are coming out every two weeks.  Many customers can obtain them at no additional charge by using a coupon.  So the content needs to be churned out on a regular basis in a limited time frame for a finite financial return.

I'm sure I'm not the only one asking if the outfits or hairs were completed first, with a generic white female Genesis 9 model thrown together to complete the bundle.  To me, it looks like more thought and effort went into the wardrobe items than into Sigrid 9.

Indeed.  WIth every generation the concept of the base figure has become less and less special as DAZ has continuously upped the output level with the end result beinjg that each one has felt less unique and more.  I think Genesis 3 was the last one where the figures mostly had fairly unique designs and distinct personalities, with thirty something figures over.  Genesis 8 doubled that and had a lot of questionably original figures like Underbelly, which was originally created and sold for another format, roplled into the list, but after four years it wasn't surprising that the well was running dry... and that's before we get to Genesis 8.1, which was really just Gensis 8 with a few, and in my own opinion less than sucessful new features, clumsily grafted on so that marketing could use the word "new" on it. G8.1 was also the point where it began to feel like the DAZ core figures were becoming inferior to PA releases the usually cost far less.  G8/8.1 was also the point where, while many of the characters were still interesting, the "yet another young caucasian girl syndrome" began to escalate.  With Genesis 9, though, it feels like DAZ is practically vomiting out the "core characters" on an assembly line with little care or interest beyond meeting the self-imposed need for giveaway bundles to give to Preir members away every month, while the bundles associated with a new release have been hacked and slashed down to such the bare bones that they're obviously splitting products that would have been sold as one item into multiple items to make the already anemic product count per bundle.. It's also the first generation where I think one can realisticaly argue that a large percentage of the PA products are now arguably superior to the core figures.

  • Sigrid 9 is still being dialed into my default genesis 9 when I load it. Anyone know how this can be fixed?

  • Ok uninstalling the Premiere shape fixes it, I think. Disappointing as the premier shape is what convinced me to buy her.

That would be really disappointing, but I'm sure DAZ will get on this pretty quickly.  I've only used one Premier shape so far (I would rather be able to buy the shape, at least as an option).

Normally I wait until later in the month to use my Premier coupon, but I'm really tempted to use it for the Sigrid character bundle.

I like her; she's got a some realistic age on her. I don't specifically need her for anything at the moment, but she went on my WL in case of a good sale or some character introducing herself to my story that she'd match.

I think she has a similar face & age to some of the Snow Queen promos. Although I know Snow Queen is taller than many G9 core figures. Maybe that's just me. Would someone with both be willing to do a quick side by side render?

I'm another who would be happier if Daz stuck to 1 theme for a character. And I really don't like it when all the themed stuff is in the add-on like with Valenia. But Daz has been doing this off & on, as well as adding odd things into an otherwised themed bundle, since at least the beginning of Premier. Both Lycan & Neanderthal have a suit in the character bundle that just sticks out.

  • Is this still and issue with the Saga one? I uninstalled and reinstalled and I feel like I'm not getting the same issue anymore

I didn't buy Sigrid but accidentally clicked on the Saga bonus figure Sigrid comes with. Now, everytime I load any figure they have Sigrids gigantic breasts and six pack abs. You should see my Baby Yoda. I can't figure out how to find the original G9F to remove the morphs. I have deleted the Saga files but it didn't help.

If the morph isn't there it can't be aplying - what do you mean by deleted? Saga is isntalled through Connect, did you use the Uninstal option in DS (rght-click on the product)? If you just used Browse to File location on the preset and deleted it that won't help as it isn't the preset that is the issue (and deleting it that way will also leave a ghost reference in your database, which means the preset will still appear but with missing file/thumbnail markers).

  • Is the Sigrid Athlete Shape download a 404 for anyone else? I checked a manual download because DIM kept failing, and I get

    {  "code": "not_found",  "message": "File with such name does not exist.",  "status": 404}

Same here.  I opened a ticket on Friday but with the sales and weekend I'm not surprised I haven't heard back yet.

The current support line for her has "/Runtime/Support/DAZ_3D_114287_Sigrid_9_Athlete_HD_Shape_Add-On.dsx" in my DAZ Studio metadata.

Search DIM SKU::114287 to see if you can find her that way.

There's no problem getting it to show up in DIM. It just won't download. The file is missing on the DAZ server, or the link in their system (both via DIM and website) to the file is incorrect.

Yup. still not working and no reply to my ticket. At least they haven't marked it resolved. They probably have a lot of tickets to catch up on because of the sales.

Hmm, I downloaded it on the day of release, and had problems. But a fix came out. I thought it was corrected? Was another bigger issue found?

A new update for Sigrid 9 Athlete HD Shape Add-On just appeared in DIM dated 14 Apr 2026. The only comment in the Read Me is from March 2026's update.

Woo-hoo!  And the manual download from the Product Library page worked when I just tried it.  So hopefully that's it fixed and they'll respond/resolve my ticket. I really need to start downloading stuff when I buy it and maybe render something.
