Or 10 bucks because of course in DAZLand buck can mean 10 bucks :D

Probably doesn't have much to do with today's sale directly, but I'm pretty happy. For a grand total of $4.99 I got CB Ethan HD G9 from Quick Grab for $1.99. Add to that Cecilia 9 for $3.00 (Premier DAZ coupon for $6.00 off of her sale price). Last month I didn't use that coupon because I may have been overwhelmed by the incredible sales, but I think I put it to good use this month.

On a brighter side, I remembered that whle Daz+ coupon does not discount OS/QG items, those items do count toward the $18 total, so I only had to add the item I actually wanted discounted to my small QG cart to get it to work, meaning I'm actually using the 6 off 18 coupon I thought I wasn't going to use this month.

Now to look for something for the DO coupon before the month ends.

I'm glad I could help. So basically, if you have roughly $10 of QC/OS items and a $6-7 non-QC/OS item, you can use the 6 off 18 coupon and get the coupon's full discount on that particular item. Or if you have $10-16 worth of elligible items in your cart, you can top it up with QC/OS to get to the required $18.

I hope you find something cool, in case you haven't used your coupon yet. For me, remembering about it made me go from "the coupon will probably go to waste" to a big "yay", because I didn't have to pick up some expensive item just to make it work or build a cart that would be over $25 after the coupon was applied.

    Happy shopping!

@Joanna I also had no idea about os/qg and the pa coupon. That's outstanding! Thanks for the tip!

my real reason for saving my cash -- I've spent enough at DAZ to have paid for a car or two by now. It puts butterflies in my stomach.

That's a scary thought! I've not spent near that much.

Put it this way. I've been buying here around 25 years, since Zygote. My average spend is $83 per month. Up to a couple years ago it was $60 a month, showing how much pricing has increased lately.  OR, the sales have been good so I've purchased more content. It would be interesting to see the trends there.
My butt got kicked when I saw that total via DAZ Deals. It really is out of control spending for me. Free application not even cllaughse . my wife finds out it will be divorce time. Lesson learned finally. It took quite awhile.

Don't feel bad! You've been here for 25 years- that's a lot of enjoyment and creativity!  I know people who fly out of state to go skiing (we're former airline employees) and they spend what you have in less than half the time.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 8,038

i did some calculting ... i just clicked for awhile and found in 476 days to now I acquired 2,860 products, some were free . in the prior 476 days, I acquired 1710 products.
The truth ... since mid September 2025 to the end of year 2025,  I purchased 1136 products. So that indicates great sales in 133 days at least. Yeah, there's always another sale. blush

for sure, like one cruise for 8000$ one trip. All that's left are memories of good times///worth a lot actually. This stuff here would be more valuable if it we transferrable though.

Picked up a bunch of Fabiana stuff with HOT-GETS and used up my store credit. Happy with the trade even though it was a bit below my usual target discount. :)

Funny how the newest products in the "current bundles" section are Genesis 8 bundles from six years ago...

Agree. I mean I wasn't expecting 2025 bundles in the selection, but I was hoping for some of the older G9 bundles. G9 is 3 or 4 years old, correct?

G9 turned 3 in September of last year, but don't forget that there were about 2 years of G8.1 releases between that and Genesis 8, which is the newest generation in the sale.  So, yeah, we're talking about six year old products from 2 generations back, with the very newest things in the "current bundles" being from April of 2020 while the oldest is from November 2017... and yet, honestly, I do have to add that I find that the G8s still look and function better for me than either of the gens that followed it.  Not a fan of PBR skins and the bending issues with G9 are still an aggrivating bugaboo.

Haven't spent it this month, and probably won't unless a miracle occurs this weekend (just not enough in the current QG/outlet selection on my WL) but I suspect it will come in handy next month. :)

  • Don't get sales like "HOT-GETS". I have earned my tokens, I want to make use of them. Would have bought the 10 for $25 if tokens would have reduced the price. Won't pay > $2 for old stuff which might go in the Grab-section for $1,99 or lower eventually of will be discounted for 9X% with an future sale.

...interesting only one item shows up in the Explosive Earnings category, so since it was free, may as well complete the collection.

  • BOOM50 coming up as invalid.

Discount shows 50% in my wishlist, when I add items to cart it goes to 20%.

Cars, Miniature games, hunting, shooting range, collections, and getting a gaming PC... just a few hobbies that could cost way more. laugh

Compare it to drinking or smoking or gambling, and you will feel better.

My younger sister has every pay tv subscription available here and I drive five hours to visit her, wondering why I bother as it's a long way to come to watch someone watch telly.

The now added "Does Not Stack" disclaimer pretty much kills getting any decent discount on any of the offers. Even the special 4 hour coupon codes only work with the very limited selection in the 50% off section.

I still have not used my 10$ off 25% coupon so far, and if this promotion runs for the next two days it will be the first time I have not used it in ages.

I would say this set of promotions is ending January on more of a whimper than a bang.
