Hello again.... it`s a long time ago since I was here. (And, I am glad to see you again.....)

Many Things in my Life has changed. (And, I needed Time to face that all.)

But, now I have a new PC, the old one gave up. ( I hope that some Persons may remember me....) And, its a long Time ago since I worked with my 3d Programs. (I hope I didn`d forgot all about Bryce.....)

I like to work with Bryce again  now - I know that this will need much Time, and I hope I didn`t forgot all about Bryce.

Yellow Pen - so nice you are back again after all that time. I am looking forward to see your new artwork you will create in Bryce.

    Thanks both :)

    Thanks, NGartplay and Teobaldo.

Mermaid010, very nice view of the Country House. Just one thing I noticed when using this myself and I also saw it in your render: the house is not completely grounded. There is a tiny line of shadow under the house.

Your abstract is great, Horo. The HRT terrain is rather spikey for my taste, but the texture is marvelous. The city/waterfront scene is amazing. Looks like it uses lots of memory with all those houses.

Your last two terrains and skies/clouds are great, NGartplay.

Welcome back, Yellow Pen. Hope to see some great renders from you soon.

We have not forgotten you Yellow Pen.  I am happy that your life challenges have been resolved and glad that you are able to visit the Bryce forum again.  I stepped away too, but mermaid convinced me to come back.

Something a bit different.  I put the camera inside of an installed Bryce star.  Softer colors, less clutter.

Hansmar - thank you. Yes, the city at the waterfront uses 1.62 GB of memory, the saved file 351 MB.

NGartplay - nicely done abstract. Looks a bit like fried eggs laugh.

Welcome back Yellow Pen, looking forward to seeing your work.

Thanks Hansmar, thanks for pointing out the error, I see what you mean.

NGartplay- cool abstract, I like the soft colors.

The sphere tower is by S Ray standing on a fading disk, the Hdri backdrop is a freebie Luxo-Jr, (which I found in a downloads folder)  For the tower I used a material from 50 Funky Shapes and Metals.

It does look a bit like eggs, lol.

mermaid, the use of the fading light to highlight points of interest is excellent.

mermaid - interesting and very nicely done scene.

The terrain and the material are from Grand Mountains. The moon is a sphere with a self made material. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Sunless HDRI Skies and the key light by the sun.

This is a snowy mountain that was free by Filip Stamate (?.)  Love the snow texture and detail in the terrain.  I tried a lot of different skies and angles.  I've been going through all the scene files that I have and am enjoying seeing how others create their scenes and set them up.

NGartplay - thanks, lovely snowy scene, I also enjoy and love "studying" scenes made by others and many times use the scenes as a starting point.

Horo - thanks beautiful snowy scene. It's that time of the year again, cold, flu and arthritis pain.

I have another snow scene that I'm working on that's from scratch but it's not working out at the moment.  Hope to see it through.

Edit:  I think that my terrain is too low res.  Used a pixelated snow material on it.

AND, I really like this strange widget.  Think that it's from MatCreator.  He's from 3DCommune, too.  I love how the materials work on the widget.  I put a mat spere above each to show what the mat looks like.

The terrain was self made from Mars DEMs (Digital Elevation Maps) and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 1. The fine white stars are from the Space Construction Kit. Sky and ambient light by the DS-Sky01 HDRI and like the left flying object from Deep Space HDRI 1, the right one is from Deep Space HDRI 2. The key light is by the sun.

Horo, amazing detail in your terrain.  Very realistic.

NGartplay, very nice abstract and good snowflake-like thingies. The first terrain looks great, but the second terrain is indeed rather low resolution, I think.

Great background for your objects, mermaid010. Looks like a museum terrace or something this way.

Your snow terrain is fantastic, Horo, but it does make me think of a Frank Zappa song (Yellow snow). The space scene has a great mood, thanks to the wonderful colours.

    NGartplay - thank you.

Hansmar - thank you. Yes, we usually expect to see the snow white or blueish from reflections of the sky. But with a low sun, the haze can get yellowish. I noticed that in nature several times: it looks white but when I make a photo and look at it I can see the yellow tint.
