Thank you mermaid.
NGartplay, Teobaldo, Rashad, thank you.
Fantastic scene, NGartplay! And, indeed, the scene with the barbed wire is rather eerie or spooky.
Horo, very good cave scene. And your train scene also looks very good.
Teobaldo, a very spectacular space scene.
What a very nice abstract, Mermaid010.
Rashad, I very much like your experimentation. I like both versions. The first one is overall less crispy. I do not think this is caused by the sky slab, is it? The form of your clouds in the second one is more to my liking. However, I do not really like the fact that the clouds stop before the horizon. By the way, if I use cloud slabs, and if I do not place them low enough, my clouds also do not reach the horizon.
So, there is something good about both approaches and I find it difficult to choose.
Thank you Hansmar.
The horizon in the second looks more natural to me. Both clouds are beautiful and I am having a hard time deciding if I like the slightly hazy look of the first or crisp, clean look of the second.
I imported a sky dome and dragon skeleton. Added shiny mats and a sphere (of course.) I was trying to make another 'import' object scene and couldn't come up with a picture from the items that I had. This is the results.
NGartplay - this image looks very beautiful, whatever you intended to accomplish, this is an outstanding result.
Thanks Hansmar
Wow NGartplay, fantastic and I agree with Horo outstanding result.
The source file is H99-WallPaper_Bonus from Abstract Wallpapers. The Sphere was replaced by a rotated Pyramid and the sun lowered, no other modifications. The result is completely different. The file is 1.1 MB and the render time 15 seconds.
What a fantastic result with the dragon skelet, NGartplay.
Very beautiful abstract, Horo.
Very colorful, beautiful abstract Horo
Thank you Horo, Hansmar and mermaid.
Horo, it looks very 'techno', almost like a greeble. I like that it looks 360 degrees.
Thank you Hansmar, mermaid and NGartplay.
NGartplay,
That dragon looks awesome! I love the colors.
Horo,
This image reminds me of the Interstellar tesseract.
Thanks everyone for your feedback on the clouds. I'll upload more examples of the studies as I learn more.
I made an interior render, starting with a DAZ figure. It is Victoria 6 with Blake character, boudoir clothing set, Estal hair. She is on 'Cozy Bed'. I added a simple vase with a plant and put the scene in a room called 'Chambre d'amor' (of which I only used the room, not the props). I added a cubic fill light a sky by David and Horo and ecosystem trees by them as well. I modified the glass texture of the room and added missing walls with a simple stone texture. I was thinking about paintings by Hopper when creating this.
Rashad - thank you.
Hansmar - very beautifully done room with the view through the windows.
Wonderful interior scene Hansmar, the lighting is awesome.
Thank you, Horo and Mermaid010.
The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 2 with an adjusted material from the same set and Gritstone Hills. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Grand Mountains and the key light is by the sun.
Magnificent landscape Horo, the material and lighting perfect.
Horo: Your train looks great in the landscape; I can almost see it sharing the tracks with NGartplay's locomotive. The modified abstract wallpaper is like a fourth dimension. The terrain is as perfect as ever.
Rashad Carter: I like the second image of the clouds better.
NGartplay: The reflected metallic dinosaur looks spectacular.
Hansmar: Your interior image is very good; the window adds a realistic touch.
Thank you all for sticking with our old and beloved Bryce.
Hansmar that scene looks fantastic. The shadows and reflections, are particularly rewarding. Love the comfortable pose and the aloof expression. Great!
Thank you mermaid and Teobaldo.
Hansmar, excellent scene. Love the comforter on the bed. It looks so cushy.
Horo, I would have expected snow on this mountains so the fall coloring is a surprise and beautiful.
Again, just rendering some imported objects that I have already created. Making this image reminds of how much I've forgotten already. The material on the desk top should have been tweaked. I was too lazy to find a nice wallpaper. But, you know what? I just enjoyed playing with the objects. The books have promise with a chalice and wizard items. The dinosaur is pretty cool. The cannon would look great with my pirate stuff. I did a bit of burn.
EDIT: Hmm...refuses to upload. jpg at 1.05 MB I'll try later.
EDIT: Had to resave in IrfanView at a lower resolution
NGartplay - thank you. Very nice render with the desk and what is on it. I also like the wooden wall tiles very much.
Beautiful scene NGartplay, well done.
Two in Wings3D created ribbons, one with pimples outside and the other one inside a bit smaller, with materials from Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals. They stand on a Fading Disk. Everything with the camera within a 8-sided pyramid (comes with Bryce 7.1: Installed Additional Primitives) with transparency and reflection each 50%. Light by the WhiteSphere HDRI, the blue colour by the sky. No sun.
Horo, I love your crazy ribbons. The pimples (?) really make it interesting.
Interesting render with the ribbons, Horo, the lighting is awesome.
Thank you NGartplay and mermaid.
