Electro-Elvis - thank you. Those funnels and plugs you made in Bryce came out very good and are nicely presented.
Thanks Horo and Electro-Elvis
The funnels and plugs look great Electro-Elvis, awesome modeling
Thank you Horo, mermaid010
The terrain was self made and given a material combined from High Resolution Terrains (HRT) 2 and HRT 4. In front of the camera the Warm Red Filter from Lenses and Filters. Sky and clouds by the CloudSphere11 and the ambient light by the belonging SkySC11 HDRI from the Sky Toolbox Expansion1 and the key light by the sun.
I'm a bit far away, but I'd like to take this opportunity to say hello and congratulate you on all the great renders you've shown. The variety is enormous, and there's something for everyone, proving that our beloved program is still relevant despite the passage of time.
I'll post something of my own later; for now, I'm busy with things around the house.
Teobaldo - on the Internet, nobody is far away
Thank you for your comment and I am looking forward to see another of your artworks made with Bryce,
Beautiful landscape Horo, nice effect with the Red Filter.
Thanks Teobaldo, looking forward to your Bryce work.
A lovely landscape, Horo. I wonder how it would look like without the warm red filter. Just to see the difference.
I made an abstract (sort of)
Hello everyone. Great artwork, as always. Really cool abstract Elvis. Looks steampunk.
mermaid - thank you.
Electro-Elvis - thank you. Depending on the transparency settings, the filter can be strong or weak. Below is the same render without the red filter and for me it looks a bit cooler (colour temperature).
Your abstract looks beautiful like a complicated ancient machine.
NGartplay - thank you.
Electro-Elvis - very nice abstract.
NGartplay - hi I was wondering where you are, thanks for popping in.
Horo - I prefer the one with the filter although both are awesome.
mermaid - thank you. I also find it a bit cold and that was why I added the red filter to give it a bit of warmth. The sun could be used but then, the clouds would not get a bit of the warm light.
The main object is from Material Showcase 2. It stands with the camera in a 6-sided column from Additional Primitives with a self made reflecting material. Ambient light and colours by an HDRI from Hyper Textures Base and some light by the sun.
Horo, adorable kroggifish.
Mary, check your email.
Thank you NGartplay.
Horo - lovely results with the Kroggifish.
NGartplay- ok will check my emails later day.
Thank you mermaid.
A while I posted an object and Horo mentioned it maybe one by Agent Smith. He maybe correct, in another folder I found these objects but under the name Kirk Dunne, I think they are one and same person, beautiful objects. I used materials from the Funky Metals and they are lit by and Hdri from Sunless Hdri Skies.
mermaid - yes Agent Smith is Kirk Dunne (once www.kirkdunne.com). I also have these objects by him and you have them very nicely presented here.
Thanks Horo
Double stacked self made terrain with a material from High Resolution Terrains 1 & 2 and Landscapes under Fantastic Skies. The water is the ground plane with my material. The two suns are from the Space Construction Kit. Sky and ambient light by an from Deep Space HDRI 2 and a bit of light by the sun. A far away world lit by two suns.
A beautiful far away world Horo, fantastic render
Electro-Elvis: Your abstract reminds me of old house railings.
Horo: Both landscape variations are good. The object reflected in different positions gives an impression of infinite repetition. The world illuminated by two suns looks very good.
mermaid010: The presentation of the objects looks beautiful; it's like seeing them in a display case.
I'm adding a couple of renders I made recently:
Ancient Fire
An ancient fire stored in a forgotten altar on a distant world, its creators long extinct. Its glow still illuminates the dark waters, though no one can see it anymore.
The background is Deep Space, the water is a Bryce texture modified by me, the object is created with Structure Synth.
Mission to Hell
This is the cover I made for a story I'll be making available for free download on my blog. I used several free objects, including a 2D "monster" I built using texture cutouts (a method I don't plan on repeating due to the slowness of the process). The atmosphere and terrain are the ones that come with Bryce, modified to achieve the desired effect.
mermaid - thank you.
Teobaldo - thank you. Two very special and very well done scenes.
Thanks Teobaldo. Two excellent scenes, I like the hazy effect of the 2nd one.
The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 1 with a self made material. The lake is the ground plane with my water. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI for Fun and additional clouds from Object Clouds 2D & 3D, the key light by the sun.
Wow Horo beautiful scene, the terrain material is awesome.
Thank you mermaid.
A fun render; this guy is so cute. I used elements from the Space Construction kit and the Toon Alien.
mermaid - ah yes, fun render indeed. I really like what you have done here.
Wow, a short absence and several great works appear again. Congrats everybody for the good renders.
