mermaid - ah, you did it. Now the backdrop pattern looks great and the white outlines, too.

A big torus and two smaller ones within the big one with simple materials, transparency and reflection. The camera with the GWL from Lenses and Filters in front of it is inside the big torus. Light and colour by an HDRI from Hyper Textures Base. No other light source. A kind of a face with eyes and a tongue.

Three terrains from Terrain Stacking with a material from Grand Mountains. The nebula and the galaxy are from the Space Construction Kit. Sky and ambient light by the unpublished Gasclouds_A2 HDRI and the key light by the sun.

This time, I used the Island Peak height map for this terrain, lit by and Hdri from Golden Lighting.

Very cool scene, mermaid, looks like some ancient fort in the desert.

  • Horo, that "bull" abstract looks beautiful! Snowy landscape is also pleasant to look at.

mermaid010 - nice render! Gives me a feeling of an arabic tale with genies (dzhinns).

Twice the same terrain from Grand Mountains, one vertical inverted over the other, both with an adjusted material from Terrain Stacking. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from High Resolution Terrains 3 and the key light by the sun. A rocky mountainscape with edges and crevices.

Electro-Elvis - Thanks for the tip on Poly Haven.. I like the results there with the kitty.. I like using my own textures in Bryce.

Hansmar - hope you get well

Horo, Mermaid, Love love the Stylized Rendering and have the tutorial wish listed.. I did find a youtube with some quick tuts on this.. I really love the results.  I have been using Filter Forge for years to achieve similar results and spend a lot of my time creating and messing with filters for their effects.  Some of them work well with Bryce... like the Perlin Noise works fairly decently for generating height maps I can use for terrains. Mermaid thanks for sharing your pinterest page.. have it bookmarked.

I did try plugging one of my renders into an AI image bender (one that allows you to adjust the amount you want the image changed) and got some fantastic results... I just have some angst about using AI, though...

Horo, love your excellent terrain stacking and the Moon peaking through the Dystopian City.. Its like you are there in the forlorn city streets.  Also the abstract is really nice.. I was doing some computer skinning and made me a new start button.. this would look good for a backdrop :-)

Always a pleasure to stop by and admire the excellent works here.. Thanks for sharing everyone!

A self made terrain and two inverted ones in the background, all with a material from High Resolution Terrains 3, the water is the ground plane with a self made material. Sky and ambient light by an unpublished HDRI and the key light by the sun.

A simple scene - a Funky Shape with a Funky Material, the ground plane has some reflection and no diffusion, lit by the default Bryce sky. After a long time I did an Anaglyph.

mermaid - very nicely presented funky cube. The anaglyph is excellent and comes out of the picture towards the viewer.

Thanks for your good wishes. Unfortunately, it got worse, before slowly getting better. First time at the computer again. So unfortunately, I cannot react separately on all your great works.

Hope to be able to create and react more in the near future.

Hansmar - thank you anyway, good to see you here. I do hope your recovery speeds up.

The terrain and those in the background were self made and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 2. The trees are Seagrape and Fir as BTO with my own material. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from High Resolution Terrains 4 and the key light by the sun.
