The terrain was self made and given a material assembled from High Resolution Terrains 2 and 4, the water is the ground plane with a material from High Resolution Terrains 4. In front of the camera a warm-red filter from Lenses and Filters. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Grand Mountains and the key light by the sun.

I read about the Red (Blood) Moon on the 7th or 8th September; my version of the Red Moon. The sky is from the presets, the galaxy and nebula from Space Construction Kit.

I've missed the event, but your render displays it nicely :)

Here is one I created to play around with trees, leaves on trees, texturing ground planes and lighting--but also trying to get some ideas for a storyboard--Bryce comes in handy for that.

    Pleasant and picturesque!

There are five terrains in my image. Materials is Snow and Ice 3 from the Grand Mountains Library. Light comes by the Bryce Sun and Sky Preset 9 of the Grand Mountains Library.

    Very nice snow mountain scene!

Looks gorgeous! Though a bit dark.

Past as Future - thank you. Yes, the scene is a bit moody, the sun shines through some haze high up wink

The city consists of 20 Dystopia City Blocks assembled in 5 x 4 blocks, however only a part of them is visible. In front of the camera a blue-filter from Lenses and Filters. Clouds and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI Captured Volumetric Skies 1 and a bit of light by the sun. A street of a town lit by the moon in a night.

The terrain is from Terrain Stacking with a material from the same set combined with one from High Resolution Terrains 2. The water is the ground plane with my material. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Sunless HDRI Skies and the key light by the sun.

Thanks Horo. Another fantastic render, the materials and lighting are perfect.

A quick render using a file the Grey Lighting from the Stylised rendering. I like the result.

Horo, mermaid010, Past as Future: Thank you!

I stumbled across the Poly Haven website. It's a great source for genuinely free textures and 3D objects. I then tried out a texture with dirt. I added the displacement map to a terrain using the Picture function and was pleasantly surprised at how well everything worked. Bryce still manages to surprise me :-) Then I created a quick image. The cat is from Daz3D, the rusted wheel rim from Poly Haven. I just added a bit of bump to it. Light comes from the Bryce sun, rendered with TA. Thanks for watching.

Horo, mermaid010: Thank you very much!

mermaid010:  Nicely done image. Interesting twist, that there is no reflection on the white squares wink

Horo: Excellent landscape with beautiful clouds and your night scene is very atmospheric. I also love the clouds here.

    Hi guys,

I bit ill, I am afraid, already for more than a week. Trying to get back to all my activities, but energy level is low.

I saw your excellent and original works, but, sorry, am not going to respond to all separately.

    Keep up the good work!

Sky and ambient light by the Gasclouds_B03_SC HDRI from Landscapes under Fantastic Skies, the clouds are from Object Clouds 2D & 3D and the key light by the sun.

Hansmar – Thanks and wishing you good health and a speedy recovery.

Horo – beautiful realistic scene, awesome work as usual.

After many trials and errors I managed to Stylize the Island Peak render I did a few days ago. I'm doing something wrong because parts of the image did not get the hatching material and other parts are missing the outlines. All in all I'm happy with the result.

Thanks Horo for your comment and help, I emailed you too.

For those interested; my attempts using the Stylized Rendering Product can be found here: https://www.pinterest.com/maryole3/stylised-rendering-for-bryce-3d/

Now I got the Stylizing bug and I'm trying to convert some previous renders using the technique described by David and Horo.

The outlines were added with a method from Stylised Rendering. The objects and their materials are from Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals. They stand on a Shadow Capture Disk from Hyper Textures Expansion. Background and ambient light by an HDRI from Integrated RTR Environments and Light and the key light by the sun.

Over the past few days, I realized that it is difficult to stylize previous renders; still or landscape. Thank you Horo for your detailed explanation. Here’s another using David’s File (from the Stylized Rendering product) but going thru the process, it is an elaborate process but fun to do.
