    I have enough (more than five) products wishlisted among today's artists mega sale that would normally entice me to build a cart around them. But with all the factors at play in this sale it's simply not worth it for me. For starters, the only item I have a real interest in among today's new releases (and that I would have used as the buy-in) is not economical. First problem. Second, if I decided to go on with that cart anyway, the second limitation (only up to five wishlisted items will get the extra 50% off) is also unappealing. And last but not least, it's the $3.99 minimum price point. All in all, it's a hard pass for me.

    So there's a full character on another site. I like it, g8 character - $15, never on sale. There's a body shape I like - $7. Either I like it enough to buy it or I end up buying a $3-$5 bundle with several items here. That's the option, and I haven't bought the items from the other site.

    But Daz doesn't have the adorable ceramic critters I fell in love with on 3D Shards! Or the chocolate fountain!

    It's all a matter of how much Asset X is worth to a person, and most of what's on my wishlist right now is neat, but stuff I'd be fine without. There's a bunch of stuff I could get from the Outlet, but I learned my lesson last time and I'm spacing things out this round.

    I agree with what you're saying - Sometimes you have to buy the stuff where the stuff is. But if an item is too high-priced, it's not so easy to spend the money. I don't know what lesson you learned last time. I got a lot of treasure. It was a fun party. This could be fun for a while, too. We shall see!

    Well, if I hadn't bought everything I wanted that first couple days, I would've been able to get punches in the July sale because there would've been reasonably priced stuff left I could justify spending money on. (Like, it's something I actually want, not just a gamble that maybe the punch will pay off later.) I would've had stuff sitting around that was usable for filler when I needed another buck or two to hit the next token cap on a day I was buying stuff. I would've had reasonably priced purchases in the queue that I could indulge in on a day that could use a bit of a pick-me-up. And also, I wouldn't feel so overwhelmingly behind in trying to get my stuff catalogued if I'd spaced it out.

    Granted, last time with the discount on 5 items, there was an incentive to buy in batches. None to be had this time, so it'll be easy to just do a thing here or a thing there. We'll see what the Quick Grab brings tomorrow; I'll admit it's nice to have that bit of rotation to look forward to.

    Sounds like you want to be more strategic about your procurement here. That makes sense! I'm sure you will be! I think Quick Grab will be the wild card. I'm interested to see what drops in over time.

    So there's no sale today if you bought 5 wishlist items yesterday? The 50% off with new release only works once over the weekend.

    And I don't consider the artist sales normal since buying a new release doesn't even give 10% bonus to those sales like has been standard for years.

    It doesn't say one use only, and I don't see why they would limit it in general - you still have to buy one of today's Featured new reelases to trigger it.

    And I don't consider the artist sales normal since buying a new release doesn't even give 10% bonus to those sales like has been standard for years.

    ...yeah, but I don't so images of characters in their underwear. Besides, there are already underwear sets, like the Basic Wear which comes free with every base Genesis figure.

    Sure, it's not necessarily useful to everyone (for an obvious example, it's probably not much use to those who do mediaeval fantasy), but underwear sets that are not bedroom lingerie are actually a fairly rare thing on the store - and not all of the few that do exist are all that great.

    So yeah, I'm happy to have one more option of functional undies; if I've got a character who's supposed to be a professional engineer, it doesn't feel genuine if she's getting dressed up in frilly lace lingerie for her day job.

    Oh, I thought I'd bought new releases yesterday, but I hadn't. And new releases are excluded. Yes, it is working. I just didn't noticed I'd picked a new release to test with.

    Will do, but the site cautioned that it will take at least 20 days to arrive from the UK (to Germany, mind you, so basically next door ...). Shipping from the UK has gotten insanely long and expensive since Brexit generally, and oftentimes, stuff ends up in Customs first, which notify you like a month later, if at all. And where I live, I have to drive about an hour to where the next Customs House is. 
     

    Concerning sales: I like the new QG selection, and I generally like that idea much better than Fast Grab before! Will treat myself to the lovely Mushroom cave I think.

    I did get the Pegasus bundle, after reupping Premier, since I realized I could use the $10 coupon to get both Uthyr & Orc set (which also has hair & beard) plus Athena Hair off my WL for pennies. Bonus: I had One Token to use. I know it's not much, but it was a fun surprise. Seriously, I've no clue where it came from, since it's been a month &  half since I've gotten anything that wasn't free. (Was dealing with fallout from Deer vs Car.)

     

    *** Is it just me or do the promos for that new centaur in jacket make it look like they've got a blouse tucked into their waistline?

    Oh interesting! I had no idea there were such issues getting things between different countries in Europe. Here's hoping your stuff arrives with less hassle than you anticipate.

    Definitely agreed on the QG. I never got anything from the Fast Grab, but I did well last week, and there are several things from this batch that I'll pick up tomorrow. The $1 (non-pinup) pose sets for sure, as I'm sure I'll get $1 of use out of them at some point, even if there's overlap with things I already have. Same with the Zeddicuss expression pack. Also going for that mushroom cave, as it's been on my WL for a while. I have an idea to use it for, it just wasn't at the top of the list. I'm debating three of the $2 characters, though. They're well done, and a great price... but I don't have a current character that needs any of them as a base, and it's wasted money if I never actually use them.

    I'm glad that worked out for you! I actually passed on it, will see about it at holiday time. I have a lot of the Demon Horse stuff (got at holidas last year), and that's what I really wanted. Guess I'll have a party in the 99 cent bin and then some bundles. But right now, as you reported, the Outlet Store seems a bit broken - No mecha bundles, jet planes, etc. for me until that's fixed!

    At least it's not dark... and depending on how you angle things, it wouldn't have to be corporate, specifically. I'm thinking I can knock out the wall with the doors, duplicate the window wall, reposition it, and I'll have a decent setup for the downtown skyways. (Maybe do something about the ceiling, too, but that's not hard.)

    I wonder how the four items are picked each week that you get a discount on if you buy the two new D+ releases. It always says "related" but seem to be about as specially curated as the old LD were. And one of them I was pretty sure I recognized from browsing the Outlet... sure enough, I was right. So one can guess probably not hand selected.

    First day last year was Monday August 26th. Maybe it will be Monday 25th this year or maybe not frown I guess that since September 1st is a Monday this year they may wait till then?
