Another fabulous landscape Horo, perfect materials and lighting.
Horo - Rock spires in chaotic orientations is fabulous !
Faded Island 3 from Islands 2 by David Brinnen & Horo, was going to add a plane but settled for the landscape by itself.
Plane is a Boeing 314 Clipper - freebie by unknown (ShareCG?), Terrain is Mount Erosion with a Mossy-Rock Shader again unknown, Water is Swirling Water 1 again unknown.
Computer seems to have got the reflections out of whack .....
mermaid - thank you.
Bunyip02 - thank you. Two very nicely done island scenes. The water on the second one with the Boing 314 clipper is special and interesting.
Bunyip02 - two very nice island scenes, I agree with Horo nice swirling water
Hansmar: The watchtower looks good, and I hope the "kitten" doesn't reach the human. The filters on the camera create a nice deformation of the city.
Horo: As I said on Renderosity: the mountain looks difficult to climb. Is there anyone brave enough to dare? Your negative sphere, cut and shifted, is like an unpolished gem. The terrain of Great Mountains reminds me of the ones in the north of my country (desert, then mountain range). The pond with the vegetation looks very peaceful and relaxing. The space scene with the ship is also very cool; it gave me a Space 1999 vibe, I don't know why. The city in the clouds reminds me of those 360-degree camera shots. The rock spires look very alien to me. Excellent work.
mermaid010: The cartoon rocket is cute, as if it were part of a children's TV series. The sun sinking behind the mountains looks great; I loved the textures.
Electro-Elvis: Both variants of the figure are good, although I prefer the regular one.
PixelPie: The cave-like house with the dock is nice, and it's true that lighting and colors can completely change the look of a scene.
Bunyip02: I like the lonely island; the one with the plane is like time has frozen.
Now I contribute with a couple of new scenes.
Sunset in Dark Mountains:
Reflections on an Oily Sea:
In the first, the terrain is from David Brinnen and Horo Wemli's high-resolution terrains, with a sky from the presets in Bryce. I played with the camera orientation and the time of day to achieve the effect of darkness that precedes dawn or dusk.
In the second, I use a view from above the sea that I used in another image. I found the effect interesting, as if it were a vision of another dimension through a blurred veil. Those two points near the right... could they be curious eyes?
Greetings to all.
Teobaldo - thank you. Great evening scene over the mountain. Fascinating effect on your second entry. It looks a bit like a face with bright eyes left and right and in the middle the dark nose.
Horo - Thanks !
mermaid - Thanks !
Teobaldo - Thanks ! Favourite is Reflections on an Oily Sea.
Thanks Teobaldo; two interesting scenes, in the second one I see the face of a hippo.
The footbridge model is by Gogiart , the backdrop is an Hdri from Island 2 by Horo and David.
mermaid - very nicely presented footbridge with the trees and bushes in this evening light.
The object at left is from Alien Artifacts Vol2 and at right a rotated instance of it, both with materials from Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals. They stand on a shadow-capture disk from Hyper Textures Expansion. Background and lighting by the Treppenhalle2 HDRI from 50 Metals The Treppenhalle Set.
Thanks Horo, the Alien Artifacts nicely presented too, I like the idea of including a reflective ball.
mermaid - thank you. The mirror ball was actually an afterthought.
Terrain and material are from High Resolution Terrains 2, the water is the ground plane with my material. Sky and ambient light by the Sunset HDRI from HDRI Enhanced Skies and the key light by the sun. A landscape under a forbidding looking sky.
Another amazing realistic landscape Horo, superb work.
Thank you mermaid.
mermaid - Footbridge scene is tremendous !
Horo - Alien Artifacts or mutated Caterpilars ? - Superb scene ! Landscape is awesome !
Bunyip02 - thank you. The landscape is actually the one that can be partly seen through the canyon at https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/9167256/#Comment_9167256
Thanks Bunyip02
The object is Trefoil (installed under Misc) with the installed material techno basic (without colour C) for Diffuse and Bump, Transparency 100 with Refraction 134 (Water). Light and colour by an HDRI from Hyper Textures Base and some negative sunlight. The camera with the GWL (Gigantic Wide-angle Lens) is near a fringe inside the object.
Horo - Fabulous psychedelic render !
Spaceship is Tuhrom Ship from B6 Objects 1, Terrain is Unreal Worlds with Gritstone Hills material, Water is Santraginus V by DAZ3D
Bunyip02 - thank you. Dramatic spiky mountains, very nicely done scene.
Horo - fantastic work, your ideas are so amazing.
Buyip02 - wonderful scene, the spaceship is a nice addition.
I used a sky from David’s Advanced Layered Skies, the Fort Vauban a model by Nergal83, and the castle by Bunyip02, the terrain is self-made with a material from Hi Res 2.
mermaid - thank you. Beautiful scene with the fort and castle under a wonderful sky and the sinking sun.
Thanks Horo
Horo - Thanks !
mermaid - Thanks ! Beautiful render, glad to see the Freebies in action !
Thanks Bunyip02
mermaid010: Do you see a hippo? Ha ha ha. I liked the bridge on a tiny peak or island (or at least that's how I imagine it). The vegetation is well done. The castle and fort look amazing with that sky in the background.
Horo: Excellent scene with the caterpillar-like aliens; it's almost as if they're ambassadors attending a meeting with humans. The high-resolution landscape looks spectacular with that flaming sky. The psychedelic/multidimensional effect of the Trefoil is fabulous.
Bunyip02: The landscape with the ship looks great; perhaps that's what alien worlds will look like when they're explored in the future.
Side note: I see it's been over two years since I signed up for the forum. Time has flown by, and I've had a lot of fun. Thank you all for your participation and interest in this program.
90 new comments and images since I was last here. Really beautiful work everyone. I hate myself for not doing art anymore but I have no desire. I live art through all of you. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Teobaldo, a hippo head to be more precise
Thanks NGartplay, I hope you get inspired soon and start creating again.
