I'm one of the 2500 - Annual Premier Membership

I didn't even hesitate. Sure beats paying the monthly fee.  And a little bargain thrown in to boot.

Good for you, but it's not nearly enough of a reduction for me, not by a long shot. The original annual plan was $70/yr.  If they bring Premier more in line with that price, I'll re-consider.

  • OK, I gave in and subscribed.

I had made it known that the monthly thing was a real deal-killer for me.

And the counter seems to have disappeared. When last seen, it said that 2205 memberships (whether Plus or Premier was not specified) were still available.

Likely because the number of "slots" available kept going up and down.  I spent a about a minute pressing F5 to amuse myself and it kept jumping between 2230's  and 2250's.

Mine was around 1750 up and down, so I suppose the script is based on my computer's time and not Daz time (it's around 8:00 in France).

  • I don't have the budget right now and it's not that appealing a deal IMO. Not only is it very pricey compared to the older annual memberships, but there's not that much difference in price from the monthly. I was planning to skip a few months anyways.

Well, I must have missed out. Good way to start a new system by leaving a bitter taste because I didn't wake up earlier. really odd decision.

Got the email at 12:00 Pacific (US) time and signed up at 12:07.

Got 12 months for the price of 12.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 2500 number counted towards both Daz+ and premier..I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I'm still left with a sour taste in my mouth....

I prefer annual membership> I'm disappointed to be kicked in the teeth. So unnecessary.

New annual membership gives you 12 months for roughly the price of 10. Not a huge reduction but still interesting if you planned to remain subscribed for the year anyway.

Wake me up when they're on sale for half or less of their current price.

  • Don't unterstand this...

    - First a counter
    - Now counter is gone
    - But instead I see a banner promoting it

Anyhow. I'm currently on monthly. Do I need to cancel to make use of the annual?

There doesn't really seem to be much point in staying at Daz+, considering it's kind of a dead tier, too often stuff is only for premier, therefore to pay double what I previously paid for a year to get what is now the middle tier rather than top doesn't sound worthwhile to me.

Likewise, paying 4 times as much for premier is not exactly much incentive, especially as one of the perks relies on caring for Gen9, something I don't personally have much interest in.

  • OK, was able to change to annual.

But did not get the extra 3 months although there is still an orange banner indicating otherwise. They even did not take into account my still running monthly membership and the remaining time I paid for.

    Asked for a refund.

I did the annual and the orange banner was showing, but only got 12 months. Worst, I wasn't due to reup until Apr 4 and it says it will now renew one year from today, so I basically lost those couple of weeks that I had already paid for. I submitted a ticket, but this is very sloppy, IMHO.

  • mambanegramambanegra Posts: 599

Oh, and I am still seeing the orange banner even though I only got 11.5 months. So, I suspect it's just an all around bug, either with the banner or with the extra months. I imagine I'm not the only one affected by this bug.

I woke up 2 hours early because I am sick. I saw the email, but it still took me a half-hour before I got to my computer. I got another year for the $99.00 for DAZ+, but it was a near thing I would do it or not. I have been leaving even DAZ+ free items in the store at times and especially many of the low-cost items. All I can say, being sick made it me crazy. Coffee just finished perking, need a cup.

Was it getting 15 months for the price of 12... wasn't it ?

...well guess I'll just wait another three and a half months until my current annual is about to expire as the bonus  month slots are already taken . Interesting how fast that went in just two and a half hours  Also sort of bad timing to do this so close month's end when many people are pretty much tapped out and pinching pennies to make it to month's end. 99 USD is a lot for many of us

Maybe they'll have some sort of deal during the Spring/Summer Daz+ sale (as long as it doesn't require a new release buy in).

Even if this was an error, I still have to wait until a week from next Tuedsay as that is my "payday". By then  all the slots will likely be gone anyway..

  • Still saying limited time offer! 15 months for the price of 12!

Only got 12 months in the purchase.

    Ticket submitted.

The annual plan doesn't add a year at the end of your current subscription period: the year starts the day you are buying an annual membership and the remaining time on your current subscription should lead to a cheaper price for the annual one:

The various banners I can see clearly say "First 2500 customers get 15 months for the price of 12", not everybody. The 2500 slots must have been filled.

I prefer the annual, but the banner should have been gone once the 2500 stopped. Also, I paid for daz+ and got daz+ but got notices and emails saying welcome to premier. WTF???

Maybe you should go to you payment page in your account. What does it say when you click to purchase?

At this very moment, the link on mine says this:

Limited time: Sign up for an annual membership today and get 15 months for the price of 12

The banner can say what it likes, but you can't state there is an offer at the point of sale when there isn't and offer. How on earth would anyone know what they are going to get otherwise? You click the button, spend $200, and hope for the best? It has to be a bug. Anything else would surely be illegal. It certainly would be here.

Oh right, I didn't check the actual purchase page. They should remove that as the "limited time" is obviously over....

I changed my Premier Membership to 'Annual'. But:

    1. Why am I not receiving a confirmation email about the change to annual membership - neither from Daz nor from PayPal? 2. Why am I not informed when the membership fee will be debited? 3. As an EU citizen, I have a 14-day right of withdrawal from contracts concluded on the Internet - does this also apply here?

EDIT: Now it's getting completely confused. My subscription change has been registered, but it apparently only applies from 14 April 2026 (see screenshot). The change is clearly shown as a “change” on the promo page, which I understand to mean an IMMEDIATE change. I really don't know yet whether I want to have an annual membership next year.

I got it because it was cheaper then monthly and it didn't click that there are two offers so I'm wondering if it's been promoted wrong?

There's the 15 months for 12 so you'd expect subscription to end in June 2026 but there's also the price of $182 instead of $199 so maybe someone messed up with what the deal actually was?

My subscription ends in 21/03/2026 and I've been charged $182 instead of $199 so doesn't look like I was one of the 2500 early ones but there is a month free technically with the discount.

From what I've read they discounted the cost of the latest month if you had renewed recently. That would account for the price difference.

Mine was $186.14 - I reckon the discount just covers your existing membership time remaining since the new end date for me is 1 year from today. A little bit miffed that there was nothing making it clear that I am not one of the first 2500 despite it being advertised.

The next annual fee should be debited one year from today. And you should see your new expiration date in the "membership management" section of your account.

If you previously subscribed with Paypal I'd suggest you check the recurring payments you have in your Paypal account because there's a good chance the monthly recurring payment is still there and needs to be canceled.
