http://www.daz3d.com/ultra-bodysuit-for-genesis-2-female-s - would someone who bought this be willing to show how it looks on G2M?

The autofit looks pretty good.  A little pokethrough in the calve when bending but that can be taken care of with one of the loosen morphs.

I don't think Daz did a great job at selling this.  I was much more hooked by the W.I.P. pictures in this thread than by the promos Daz has on it.  They could have shown the versitility alot better.

Great product though 3dwizard.  Been waiting some time now for it, and wasn't let down!!

    bought it, love it

I'm glad there is a suit that I can easily do some custom textures for with both G2F & G2M.

    Greetings,

I agree with @Decoyboy; you wouldn't have much idea of the flexibility of the suit from the promos.  There isn't even a material zone render.  The 'What's Included and Features' is frickin' EPIC, though, and if you read down below the fold you can see how much is included...

I had always planned to get it, and I am certainly happy to finally have it, but I am a little sad it didn't get more fanfare.

It's an awesome suit! I just wish DAZ would have included better promos that actually SHOW the included options because those are really the selling point.

Forgot to include my screens lol :)

Hope this is helpful to those iffy on buying the suit!

  • I put a lot into this so I am extremly happy you like it, feels good!

    So how about more renders!

Oh my this is G2F suit exactly what I need for my superhero comic. I am going to redesign the main character's costume around it... once I buy it. Which I shall do later tonight. Thanks for wrecking my DAZ budget for the month. :S

  • It is buried several pages back, so as a reminder here is a material zone render for each type of suit.

    Cheers!

Precisely what I needed, thank you! Also curious at what the different types of morphs do.

What's the 'Simple MATs' version for and why are both types of suit show as repeated? I've noticed that happening with a lot of products and am never quite sure which copy I'm meant to use...

Someone needs to create a G2 cloak/cape with as many diverse material/visibility options as this. :)

    Xenomorphine,

I made a users guide that explains everything including the different versions.  A lot of it was driven by requests in this thread, one was to have a simplified version with basic material zones just to create simple outfits without all the other material zones getting in the way.  That is why there are two versions for each suit.

I was hoping they would link to the user's guide in the product description, hopefully it is included in the install.  Just in case you can download it here:

If you have any other questions just let us know!

    Cheers!

This suit is the best out there, bar none but yea, DAZ could have come up with some better promo's for the presentation... like Nadino's screen grabs up top, just to give folks more info one what they are getting.  Mr. Wizard went above and beyond the call of duty on this project and it deserved more promo's ... I see some artists have upwards of 10 or more showing off their work and what it can do for the characrter it's made for but here .. there was what 5 promo's mostly just showing fancy renders.  It's their call but they should have went the extra mile to promote it.

I am really glad to see that it tranfers well over to the Genesis 2 Male and the Genesis 3 Female.  That's really great!  yes

OK so I bought this and I like the shaping features. However... when I try to apply the sci-fi mats, either DAZ or Iray versions, DAZ crashes.

What happens is, I double-click or ctrl-click on the mat, with the suit selected.  DAZ gives me a 'reading asset' window. And then... it just completely hangs.

EVERY time. I can apply the shapes but not the materials.

    Anyone else having this issue?

I had this issue too. I haven't had the time to try again.

Yeah I am having the same issue as well as soon as I try to use any of the materials in the Sci Fi section it gets to 98% then hangs and have to force close Studio, very annoying to say the least..

Update: Ok solved the issue with the Sci Fi materials freezing Studio, seems that they will only work on the Simple Mat versions of the UltraSuit not sure why but that is why it is hanging..

Presets apply ok for me but DS (latest) does crash when I try the "Select All Surfaces using Diffuse Color/Map" option (Surface Selection Tool)

Great! Now, if the new wolf/dog comes out I can finally stop checking the store daily. Our favorite felicitous feline is pleased.

I used the Ultra Catsuit and applied Sci-Fi DS mats, and it went into "not responding" for a few seconds and then came back and applied the mats.

Just a brief note to mention how pleased I am with this. The possibilities with all of the morphs the suit has are mind-boggling. Coupled with the shaders I have, this thing is going to keep me busy for a long time. I found it fits pretty well to Genesis 1; there is some pokethrough with more extreme shapes, but there are plenty of ways to deal with that. I've been waiting for this for a long time, and the wait was well worth it. Thanks loads.
