Working on it. So many ways to go in that hobby. It's been terrible here too, cloudy summer, cloudy fall, cloudy spring.
Given recent developments, I wonder if there will be a Genesis 3 version? Or can't you say?
That was my thought as well... and yes, I am still here as well.
My question is, ill this thing even happen at all now? I mea, if this get's released as is now, it would probably be a big sale like the Supersuit was. But since we're now in G3, it wouldn't make sense for DAZ to promote something of that caliber for an abandoned tech.
If this is still happening, DAZ will probably make him rework it to primarily fit for G3, which means we'll be waiting quite a while longer...

And most of them still haven't been released. Only 3 so far out of 10 or so.
Don't know how the contracts with DAZ are, but there are other ways to release something.
Don't know about anyone else, but I'd go apeshit if they held my product for that long.
Well, I think it is out of his hands since it was a buyout. I still would get the Gen2 version though. I haven't made the Gen3 plunge yet, mainly because I have so little time to mess with 3D lately, that I couldn't justify buying a whole new raft of content that I don't have time to use. Although V7 looks really nice, looks like the bends are excellent. I'll probably get her this fall, when I should have some more free time. Until Fallout 4 comes out, and then all my free time will be spent in that. :cheese:
They probably need to hold it for a while until all the other dozens of catsuits on their timetable have been released.

Well some reason I didn't get notifications of post to this thread until Muscleman posted today! Guess I need to check in more often, sorry about that.
So, I have not spoken to anyone at DAZ about a release date lately. I believe the extra texture sets are done and they are now working on artwork for the store page. So if I had to hazard a guess I think they could release it in Aug, however I will try to find out certain.
I was surprised when G3F was released before the suit, however I think DAZ knows they have a large install base for G2F and will support it like they have other previous generations in the past. We have not discussed doing a G3F version. However, the autofit feature of Studio works pretty well. Attached is a render of G3F wearing the catsuit.

Actually this is a buyout and I have already been paid and I am happy with that. The only way a delay really affects me is the potential bump in sales of other products in my store. With the release of G3F the sales of my older stuff has really dropped off. So a release of the suit before G3F probably would have been better for me in that respect. On the other hand, if I hadn't taken so long to create the darn thing...
There are other reasons we don't make a lot of money doing this but I don't think how DAZ releases products is one of them. I think they have developed a good process for getting products through QA, reviews, etc. It helps to get the normal PA product in the store quickly but I also think it helps elevate the overall quallity of releases.

At this point I think getting your suit refitted to Genesis Gen 3 female would be smart and better sales for DAZ since you've been paid (congrats on that) but then if your doing a male version, hold off or sign up for the beta for the Genesis Gen 3 male so you can get an early copy to start getting the suit fitted to the base shape.

Don't forget, MM... G2M comes with clones for G2F, and so if the G2F version is released, then we'll get some use out of it until there is a proper male version. Same with G3, actually. I expect an update to G3F with G3M, and clones available for them to swap clothes back and forth as well as the previous generation.
