    thanks

sounds better than Mandrake, which sounds lame but getting to desperation time.

Dracothrope is being used by someone, worries of public domain issues.

a ye olde word might sound good.

or plain old Dragon Lordes as a last resort, would rather gender neutral

...well big "doctor day" for me today.  Has a follow-up to my blood tests and discovered that am Diabetic-II. Fortunately it is not a serious stage and can be handled by simple meds (no injections *whew*) and diet. Don't even have to perform daily glucose monitoring.

So looks like no more Mexican Coca Cola or pre-sweetened Ice tea though (fortunately I sort of lost my "sweet tooth" left so no candy withdrawl).

Also have to lower the old cholesterol level a bit so looks like lots more lean stuff on the diet (fortunately I like things like fish and chicken breast stir fry).  Doesn't mean I can't still have a burger now & then, just not every other night. Going to try my street tacos with ground turkey (natural/organically fed) this week & see how that works. Probably will have to forego bacon though which will be a real downer.  At least I'm not gluten intolerant, that would be real tough.

Also was sent over to the nearby hospital for imaging of my right hand that has been bothering me over the past several years. Had to get "stuck" again for a blood test to verify my rheumatoid arthritis.

One good thing, I was handed a form to apply for a "Honoured Citizen ID" with our transit system.  This will mean I can get a monthly bus pass for 28$ instead of 100$ and get those "yutes" to get up and give me a seat.

Wear a badge that says "Ancient Person in Pain with Anger Issues -- MAY I SIT HERE A**HOLE?"

My pharmacy issues an "info" sheet with each prescription and a little credit-card sized summary comes with it.  I keep all my prescription cards in my wallet so if I get searched by a cop for being a pain in someone's day, I can tell him "I'm a licensed druggie".

Good news about the reduced bus fare, KK.  You can handle the diabetes and cholesterol.

I need to get one of those cards, LG.  I want to be a card-carrying licensed druggie too.

Austin has now reached the longest stretch of rainless days since 2011.  Time for the naked rain dance.

I am searching for pc items that are for genesis 3 but the store is not showing any.  I want some.

I must have missed the post with an explanation of "Street Tacos"... I'm sure they are good, but having grown up in an industrial part of NYC, the mental imagery it conjures up is something using rat meat... Perhaps even with the tail hanging out too.

    No bacon... Dammmn.. That's rough.

There is turkey bacon... Which is really vaguely bacon flavored turkey... The sweet and low of meat.

Here is proof that I can't find any pc items for Genesis 3

Dragon man - Dragon, Dracon, etc are the most common terms in the west. But, as with fossil species naming, you don't have to stick to English, and the east has its unique names.

    Ṭirākaṉ nāyakaṉ - Tamil

    Ḍraigana maina - Hindi

    Ejderha Adam - Turkish (Ejderhadam)?

    Naga Man - Indonesian (Nagathrope)?

    All hail google translate cool
