It always amazes me how the sun manages to set just before it gets dark. That, and how the sea manages to stop right at the shore.
I have major distrust of hospitals. They're like hotels, they prefer near full occupancy with paying customers. Hooking your customers to the beds and filling them with drugs is very convenient for maintaining occupancy levels and spreading the money around. And then if a doctor walks past your room and asks how you're doing you can expect another bill just about the time you think they've all been paid.
Those are not pronouns, though.
Does that make them amateurnouns?
Damn, I hate this new quote mechanism! Can anybody explain how the %#^##%#@ it works?
Hit the quote button, then type your comment after it? Looks like you don't need to mess with finding that line with the cursor anymore, it just works normally now.

No, the antonym of connouns.
Not always. A space shuttle launch at dusk would keep it light after the sun goes down, and then there are tsunamis and hurricanes that can bring the sea many miles into the shore.
So the real reason I am posting is to say that I think I may make bacon tacos Thursday night. If some chucklehead in my town can sell "fish tacos", then I figure that there are no limits. Bacon tacos for all, I say!
Those on facebook think friend is a verb!

I got lost in my own dream last night... No clue where I was... Then I realized it's a dream and I have no clue where I am in any other one of those, I just never feel lost in them.
It's all in your head, you have no idea where you really are, because you are never in the same place twice and we are all moving at the speed of light... Just the opposite direction, obviously.
(You stand on the Earth surface, the Earth spins at what speed on it's own axis? You are traveling that fast too.)
Add that to...
(You are on the Earth, the Earth spins around the sun at what speed? You are traveling that speed + earth-surface-speed, unless you are traveling that speed - earth-surface-speed as it rotates around to the inside edge of the circle.)
Add that to...
(The solar-system is in the Milky-way galaxy, it spins at what speed around the central black-hole that is sucking us into the core? You are traveling that speed + earth-solar-orbit + earth-surface-rotation speed, or all minus, or a combination of + and -.)
Add that to...
(The milky-way galaxy is in orbit with other galaxies as we hurdle through space as a whole, towards or away from other large-mass collections of galaxies, orbiting around a super-dense volume of unbound blackness called dark-matter, the space between galaxies is not empty, as the space between me and you is not empty, as the space between the things between the space of the things between you and I are not devoid of matter. You are traveling that speed + galaxy-speed + solar-system-speed + earth-speed... And you could be completely still, relative to the earth or me!)
This is why anti-gravity and time-travel is impossible. If you go back into time, HERE ten seconds ago.. the earth was not HERE yet, in space... it will be in a few seconds, and it will hit you traveling trillions of miles an hour, turning you into a comet as you enter the earths atmosphere, if you could have held your breath for those ten seconds in space, and you didn't travel the same speed as the earth, after you teleported. You can't anti-gravity, because gravity is relative to the surface of the earth. Mass-attraction is gravity, you would have to negate the MASS of the entire universe to NEGATE gravity. Then, you would not have anything holding you to earth, and you would become stationary in space, while earth flew away at trillions of miles an hour, or it impacted you at millions of miles an hour, without your gravitational/centrifugal-force to balance-out the throw-off that keeps you upright on the surface and stops you from squishing into the depths of the planet's core itself.
I don't even eat sandwiches!
Bacon tacos, bacon burritos, bacon-kabobs, bacon creole, bacon gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple bacon, lemon bacon, coconut bacon, pepper bacon, bacon soup, bacon stew, bacon salad, bacon and potatoes, bacon burger, bacon sandwich. That - that's about it.
An insightful and valid analysis of problems of time travel if you still subscribe to the idea that space and time are separate and immutable. However, all current evidence is that they are two aspects of a flexible, maleable, single combined concept called "space-time". I'm not saying that time travel of the type you described is actually possible but it's not necessarily impossible for the reasons given. And to quote myself again: "In the realm of eternity, anything that is not forbidden is inevitable."
And don't worry about where you are in dreams or in what you think of as reality, because you are always here and now. Just deal with your situation, whatever you perceive it to be.
the red velvet cake of meat
i don't need no stinking sugar in my cappuccino
downed my last antibiotic pill. the lump on jaw shrunked but still there.
told everyone i know no one to drive me to dentist appt next week. waiting for a volunteer.
Sure Happy It's Thursday.
Nice weather, too bad I'm going to miss it - stuck indoors working. Total pain in the caudal peduncle. Maybe I can get out and walk a bit this weekend, dunno. I need better walking shoes.. hiking boots or cross-trainers, I guess.
Overdosed on fried okra last night, paying the price today. Rumbles from below!
There's also hickory bacon, and maple-cured bacon! At least those, perhaps more.

Don't skip the appointment! Camp out overnight if you have to. Stopping antibiotics too early can be worse than not taking them at all. If you have to, call the dentist and tell him your situation.
they only gave me 8 days worth. can still hear the battle cries
ise mapping the dentist route just in case. those satellite images are something else eh? even rotates the angle.
here's my lil hobbit home, under their deck.
Came home early as I'll be spending all day tomorrow out in the field, running tests.
Ordered pizza and pasta - pizza: double pepperoni, chicken, feta cheese, black olives on crispy thin crust with Alfredo sauce. Pasta: Italian sausage, b;aco olives, roasted red peppers in Alfredo sauce.
Nibbling pizza and drinking vodka whilst installiung music software and testing performance. Not a bad Thursday afternoon...
@ MistyMist...
When Google Maps draws the route off the road... Is it then okay for me to drive over lawns, through yards, playgrounds, hot tubs, farm stands, chicken coops, and assorted woods?
Its a moot point now, but the above picture reminded me.
BTW... Did they make a mistake and only give you 8 days of antibiotics, or was there a mishap?... If you lost some or squirrels jacked your stash, you should be able to request more from your Doctor... But unless they said otherwise, what they gave you may be the proper cycle... Different antibiotics run different courses.
EDITED TO ADD... That's weird... I didn't quote Misty, instead I did what I often do, directing my comment by adding an "@" symbol before the user name... But that turned it into a link to "About" MistyMist...
Forum bug or odd new feature?
I think it's a feature - you can also elect to be notified when soemone references you, which I assume uses those tags.
Hmmm... That's good to know... But I know I'd never intentionally use it... Or rather, use it right... Or more exactly, use it for good.
The following is a test... Do not be alarmed by any loud noises or pungent odors...
Adding a space before the user name
@ McGyver
EDITED TO ADD...
Ah... "@" then a space, and then the username... And you get no link...
I fixed the MistyMist thing too.
lol, the house down by lil plains has a chicken coop in their yard.
poor lil gals crowded in one tiny coop.
is 8 days unusual? they had me taking amoxicillan 3 times a day. i took it faithfully. not ready to hit that big reset button.
every night no less. lol
no antibiotic army to defend my sleep >.<
general custer, benedict arnold, a moment on the lips 4eva on the hips
I guess they liked our tiny oceans and the marine life on Earth. Wish they didn't disassemble their space crafts, would love to see them
I thought it was the dolphins who were the aliens. So long, and thanks for all the fish.
Nar I think the dolphins are the primitive foundation for the next Sapient species after us*... Humans cant (think they'll) rule Earth forever
*I may or may not be human
...just Mec4D's thread in reference to how sometimes updates can sometimes seem more like several steps backwards instead of an improvement.
As to Norton's password manager, I do remember there were security issues a while back which is why I never used it. If the master password gets hacked then they get everything. Normally if a site was updated and I had to reenter my password to save it again, I'd just go to Options > Security > Saved Passwords to retrieved the one I need copy it, and paste it in.
Unfortunately all that info is still on the notebook, which I am hesitant to use due to the "blank out" issue, until I can find the proper solution. It definitely is not the connection as again it would either flicker and/or go completely black as if the system was turned off. After the screen goes blank, the display's backlight is still receiving power.
