Anxiously awaiting Pluto fly-by but afraid I may not be home Monday morning.  Serious pain in my lower left abdomen has me thinking I have a hernia.  Been noticing temporary pain a few hours after I eat for a couple of weeks.  Now it's seriously gotten my attention and caused a few loud uncontrollable screams.  If I push on it it doesn't hurt and actually relieves the pain.  I don't have a fever.  My skin (blubber and all) distends noticeably.  I don't have my appendix on the wrong side of my body, Also the distention is not far enough back to be my kidney.  Problem goes away over night but re-appears a few hours after breakfast or lunch.   I had a major sneezing fit a few days ago and I think I felt something rip down there.  Either that or it's a cracked minor rib (but that would probably hurt more if I pushed on it).  Or possibily pancreatic cancer but again that would probably hurt more if I pressed on it.   Soooo... If you don't hear from me for a few days I'm out testing the limits of my Medicare coverage.  If it runs out in the middle of my surgery I wonder if they'll stop?  No, I suppose they wouldn't kill the golden goose even if they had to squeeze the last egg out if it over time.  But I've come to the conclusion that this needs to be looked at, it ain't normal and ain't gonna go away by itself and I don't want it to burst and spew intestine juice into my abdomen.  Ewwwww, Owwwww.  That's a lot nastier to clean up than preventative surgery.

Oh, take care of yourself!  I hope recovery is quick!

Take care care and get that fixed soon... I forget the exact term (prolapse?), but taking too long could cause intestines to pop through the weak spot, causing blockage and Super Pain... I believe that is the medical term... Super Pain.

Take care and don't worry about missing Pluto, not only will the Penguinians be overriding the signal with images of the planet with their base photoshopped out... Its not even a planet anymore...

Possible hernia VS Dwarf Planet... ?

    Fix the hernia.

If it was still a planet or if the Penguinians didn't own Photoshop... Maybe I'd support a decision to wait it out another day... But given the skill of The Great Penguin Empire's photo retouchers and the downgrading of Pluto, you aren't missing anything.

    Get well soon!

I am afraid that I made a mistake trying to get into an online school.

Me too... It turned out to be an online monastery.

Well, if I ever want to be a monk, I have enough credits now.

That's right, we can be as repetitive as we want now.

I was in an online school once, but it turned out to just be an aquarium screen saver.  Besides, I got tired of all the swimming.

Noooooo!  It can't be... The weather people on News 12 said it was going to be a beautiful day!

Is it vindictive of me to say I hate them?

Its just that they work indoors, and I often work outdoors and when they smile and say "It's gonna be another beautiful sunny day" and I know for a fact it is currently 852% humidity because there is a fish floating in the air outside my window and then they top off the previous statement with "...So go out and enjoy yourself", I'm thinking they are either all high on something, stupid or trying to thin out Long Island's elderly population.

That or their idea of a nice day is spending it in a Rottweiler's mouth after he's run a quarter mile.

Either way... I hope the A/C over at their headquarters breaks down and they have to enjoy the beautiful warm day like other people.

I just found my old digital address book in a proprietary Windows 3.1 format.  I can open it.  Now I need to copy the data into a real database.  I should import the data into a database.  I would try using Postgre Sql but I am having issues installing it.  Maybe I can use MySql or OpenOffice Base instead.
