Looking for something for either Genesis 3 or Genesis 8 female, although Auto Fit can work with Genesis/2 or even Victoria 4 if necessary.
You could try this for starters (like celebrity look-a-likes creators, clothes creators tend to steer clear of actually using franchise/character names).

You are all welcome. Call it the madness of someone new to this set of threads that people like you have been contributing to for over 10 years.
There seem to be two sets of camps about look-a-likes and similar-to. I did not try to separate the two. People can decide for themselves how close a resemblence they want.
Personally, I am more in the similar-to camp. I read a few comments about cosplay, which I only learned about going through the older comments. That might be more what I may try with Daz ... put someone into a regognizable role that is not the original actor, but is familar enough to have people think they have seen the alternative actor somewhere else. I have to give credit to my young granddaughter for that idea after she said, "I want to be that character but not really me," meaning she wants to fantasy role-play but not make it obvious to anyone that it is actually her.
All of you are welcome. I did not list characters where there was a lot of back-and-forth about who they might look like. One thing I found myself doing as I continue is checking some photos on IMDB and Google to look for distingusing characteristics, like moles, freckles, scars, dimples and such, as well as images of promos that might be have similar outfits to what a look-a-like did in an acting role.
At first I thought these characters that were not on the masterlist were Miscellaneous, but I think Orphans is a better word. Some might make it to the masterlist (quasi-consensus look-a-likes), but many probably won't (some agreement they are similar-to).
Now if we can just get some clothing and motorcycles in the Priest style.
The second in line almost has a Clive Owen (Children of Men, Inside Man, King Arthur) look to him.
Agreed, but this is for Genesis 9, and as with their recent Shailene it appears that they are recreating some of the older G8 characters for G9.
It doesn't look anything like her to me.
Looks like al5929 is going whole hog today on G9 conversions of his G8/8.1 models.

Going through older posts on this set of threads led me to some interesting findings. Here is one.

This artist has 766 DAZ downloads, mostly G8, as of 07/12/2023. The artist accepts commissions, and members who get immediate access to new characters. After 30 days the models are released to the public for FREEI The names of the intended look-a-like are obvious once the charactrer they played is figured out. The majority of these seem to be related to games, with several celebrities having allowed their likenesses to be used, such as Lindsey Wagner (The Bionic Woman) when she was a young acrtress.
NOTE: Many of the characters are grouped by the artist by the game they appeared in. There are several standalone characters which appears below the group ones. So, click on a group link (like Aliens) to see the FREE characters from that group.

These are celebrity faces created using FaceGen (facegen.com), photo to 3D conversion software. Faces tend to be flat (per comments I read) and need some work to make them more realistic (such as adding sublayers for facial coloring). The result is not the HD (high-definition) models availalble at the regular stores (mostly at DAZ).
This website is very old. The underlying website pages have had their content removed, such as face photos used as refereneces. The webpage is archived at archive.org's wayback machine in case it complely disappears.

FaceGen's default rendering output is simple surface rendering, which means that skintones tend to look a little like they've been painted onto a surface (you tend to get a similar "look" when you hand-paint a diecast model). For "pro" image rendering, a graphics person might use FaceGen for previewing and initial editing, export a model as an .obj object file, and import it into a more advanced rendering program, which could do more sophisticated things like taking into account the effect of skin translucency to produce a more photorealistic, less "flat" image."
"Some of these head shapes look slightly iffy, but with real people, its not always obvious what their actual head shape is underneath all the hair. For a couple of the better images here, I made a tiny tweek to the cranium width, and that made a big difference. FaceGen concentrates on trying to get the facial region right, and extrapolates the rest of the head from the facial proportions, so sometimes a series of slight errors in the facial proportions can lead to a funny-looking head. Then again, most of us aren't surrounded by bald people, and probably don't have a good idea of the what the natural range of headshape variations. I resisted the temptation to edit all the heads to make them look "normal", partly because most of these are going to end up with hair, and partly because, for all I knew, perhaps this is what these people's heads really look like under all the hair? Who knows?"
