Howie is a genius. A USXT scene is currently cooking in my 24Gb Win7 PC, which has a 6Gb GTX 1060 GPU, and it's all working in GPU using DS4.15. This removes the myopia induced by trying to keep a 64m square US scene. It's a breath of fresh air. Regards, Richard

A PDF is available. You have to locate it in your content install directory, e.g "DAZ Library/ReadMe's/UltraSceneryXT/UltraSceneryXT Reference Guide.pdf"

Just throwing this out there - don't forget these renders can be used as a base for further artistic development. I've been up to my eyeballs in Artificial Intelligence generated art this past week (for fun!) and tossed my second USXT render at PhotoShop's Neural A.I. Landscape Mixer and WOW!

This first image is A.I. enhanced.

Here is the original USXT render.

@Gogger that looks very tropical jungle-like. Who would think Photoshop could do something like that? Nice! The original looks great, too.

First, love the plug-in. However, I've been having some problems.

This happens with nearly every terrain. The screenshot shows that I cannot choose a height map. The dropdown doesn't drop. I can't change Smooth or Gamma. I also cannot choose an image map for Displace. Water and Biome also don't give a dropdown. I can't pick a mask for Biome or change any of the parameters.

I've tried going through the steps in the pdf and uninstalling/deleting and redownloading/reinstalling.

    What am I doing wrong?

In your screenshot there is a small checkbox named Height Map

Try enabling it and try to use the drop down field

Thanks, but all that happens anywhere is that I can collapse the heightmap option as a whole - all other options are 'dead',unresponsive, nothing happens when I click on them

He doesn't mean the arrow to expand or collapse, he means the checkbox next to that arrow. You need to check it to enable the controls in that section. Your dark on dark color scheme makes it hard to see. I drew a little green arrow to its location on the attached screenshot of your screenshot.

Nothing clickable - I'll give it another deinstall/reinstall.

To Howie: I really like that I can use height maps, but why not an option to use color maps for that extra personal touch?

Wow Howie, just WOW! I can't buy this until my payday but I will as soon as money hits the bank. I've always wanted the ability to do large landscapes in DS. I also want to say that it is great that you added in rocky and desert style presets. They will be perfect for creating background landscapes for post-apocalyptic settings, similar to those in the movie Book of Eli. :)

PS: I'm grinning like an idiot as I think of all the things I can do with this!

I needed to close Daz Studio after install to find the option to open the Tab under Windows/Panels. Then start the steps on page 6 (for me) of the manual.

More fun. US in the foreground, USXT in background.

Not mine. Do you have Nvidia vMaterials 1.7 installed? You need 2.0 according to multiple forum posts.

My second test looks respectable using just the preset.
