Why is the Victoria 8.1 University Bundle not available for download via DIM, please?
Edit: I know the Gift Card cannot be "downloaded".
I had filed a ticket. Mainly, because the bundle NOT showing up in the product library does not allow you to use any of the dicounted offers later (a 50% / 60% discount). The response was not too helpful, but it MIGHT be corrected.
In any case, you should file a ticket.
I do expect some discounting to happen tomorrow that also requires that bundle to be available in the product library. Such consecutive bundles did happen lately, e.g. with Cyberpunk. The Victoria 8.1 product page did mention another bundle earlier today (is fixed now), and given that this is the new platinum character for DAZ, I suppose some related offers the upcoming days.
Should probably put it here as it's an issue with the page and people here sometimes report to Daz people quickly.
The marketing for Genesis 8.1 lists "Fine, short, vellus hairs have been added for the female face and body,"
Then Victoria 8.1 states "Fine, short hairs are added to the female face and body,"
But neither the Victoria 8.1 product or Genesis 8.1 in starter essentials contains that functionality, and it's only listed as part of the bundle.
So either the marketing for Genesis 8.1/Victoria 8.1 is misleading, or the products are missing content.
Either way it's probably going to cause some upset people and refunds.

I seem to be getting the bundle owner discount in all three categories too.
I guess it means it is fixed?
So I'm a bit confused. I'm debating whether or not to purchase the Victoria 8.1 bundle, and I noticed that it states that it includes both male and female anatomical elements, and I was wondering whether that is correct, or perhaps a fumble? It's not a dealbreaker for me either way, I'd just like to know what I would actually get. Thanks!
It did put both male and female in my product library.
whats the lowest price possible? I'm at 44.68. 70% off. Its an expensive bundle full price for sure.

So the second bundle dropped and with it another banner. What I do not understand though is this: Each bundle has 10 products. With the university bundle I own Matilda hair and would get 20% off for this. With the life bundle I own the AJC jacket and would get only 10% off. Why is this. Sure the base price of the jacket is 5$ less compared to the hair but the whole life bundle is also $10 less than the other one. Strange?!
I STILL have an open ticket from ten months ago about the quality of the rigging on the AJC Cropped Style Outfit (large parts of the sleeves are weighted to the torso, some very screwy distortions on the torso in some poses) that nothing has been done about. (And the picture below is *after* turning up the smoothing to insane levels).
Why is it now in a Pro (in all but name) bundle without these issues being resolved?
(I really should have returned it, but forgot at the time).
what i dont understand is paying for the same character twice, once in each bundle, or does the new banner give a discount for owning 1st bundle.of 8.1 Victoria
What they've done a couple of times recently is
Day 1 - Bundle 1
Day 2 - Bundle 2
Day 3 - Discount for buying both
Anyone else disappointed by the discounts associated with buying the bundle? What happened to the days when we'd get free DO stuff with a bundle? It definitely make it easier to pull the trigger on a $45 bundle (+ 3 add-ons).
@Matt_Castle If you submitted a help request about the problem within 30 days of purchase, and that problem has never been resolved, you can still return it for a refund. (Unless they've very recently changed their unwritten policy).
And thank you for the warning about the product. I don't like seeing old content stuffed into new bundles, but at least we can get pre-purchase feedback on the content from current owners.
That I did not know. Checking my e-mails, I think I had the help request submitted inside five hours of purchase, let alone 30 days.
I may hold out for a few days to see if the bundle release does finally push out an update on the product, but if not, I'll contact them about returning it.
Yes. I like new things to play with, but $80 for the character and 1-2 items I'd actually use is way too much. In the past, even if the bundle wasn't useful to me, I'd be able to get a bunch of additional content, sometimes several things from my wishlist at a great price. That balanced it all out.
This just isn't for me, at all.

While I like the improvements that seem to come with the generation update, DAZ Productions, Inc.'s overall business behavior has been more than inadequate over the past months, with their overpriced bundle sales and their blatant absence of quality control of new assets. Not to mention their overall incompetence to settle their issues since they screwed the shop in October.
I am even considering not to renew my PC+ membership when it runs out.
So I just bought the Loving Life bundle, together with the three texture packs (for clothes in the bundle) in today's release. As an aside, the extra 24% off meant I got the three for less than a dollar, total. Anyway, as soon as I completed the sale, I got two banners. One said since I owned the University bundel (I don't) I could have an extra 10% off the Loving Life bundle. Too late. And the other said that as I owned the AJC Cropped Style Outfit (which is in the bundle) I could get yet another 10% off the bundle. Too funny.
I suppose it would be hopelessly optimistic to ask where I apply for those two 10% discounts as a refund.
Are you sure they were not already applied? The AJC Cropped Style banner was there for me seveal hours ago, and these usually get issued en masse not piecemeal. Still, if you think you've missed out then send a ticket to Sales Support (with calculations) and they should be able to help.
sue yee's back catalog is still not discounting as advertised. i reported this quite a while ago.
please fix this before the relevant banner sale page goes away.

Thanks Richard. Pretty sure they only just popped up. I went back and forth adding and deleting products to see what happened to my total, and they were not evident. I any case, at least one is wrong, I don't have the University bundle. And I didn't own the AJC Cropped Style until I bought the bundle. With my PC Club discound and my PC Club Save 6 I got $200 of gear for $63 so I'm happy enough. It was a tongue in cheek comment.
Well, banners aside those bundles are overpriced in my opinion. 10 items for a higher base price than the original Vicky 8 Pro Bundle with 12 items does say a lot.
I will get both anyway to look a little more into 8.1's potential and to support ongoing genesis development. But I know for sure that I won't update my complete gen 8 library on similar conditions. I own all gen 8 characters. Stopped purchasing with Juan Charlos which did not offer a benefit for buying both bundles whereas both included the same base figure.
So if there will be an Olympia 8.1 or a Josie 8.1 DAZ should better come up with better incentives like additional discounts for Pro Bundle owners or throwing in the HD for free for owners of the base HD if they except to get more of my dollars.
In addition I hope that studio development aims for a way to ensure faster load times for owners of big figure and morph collections because that is the other big hurdle to add more content to one's library. As far as I know 8.1 loads 8.0 morphs which is good from a compatibility standpoint. But I already have to have 80% of my base characters uninstalled to do something in studio and not having to wait for a figure to finally load most of the time.

yeah i was apoint to point that, this sales page is not working when you try to click on "buy the bundle" you get redirected to victoria 8,1 page, the main theme page seens to be not working.
Second time this week that's happened. Someone's got an itchy finger.
this is something really bothering me, how daz is "stealth trying to "rise the prices of all new bundles", by making then more expensive with "less stuffs", back in time of the pro bundle 8 you had between 11 and 12 stuff by 134,95 and normally they where things like poses, hairs, characters and outfits, now you have less stuffs and they are "trading some stuffs, like outfits or characters to add stuffs like animations or scenes or props, its really getting annoying for me and hard to want to buy new bundles since they feel a lot overpriced and since i'm not a daz ultra hardcore fan which will buy any thing they throw don't matter how much expensive it, then it's become more easy for me to skip things and wait for better sales for then.
This was a misfire that has beeen corrected.
