I saw that many people were getting these messages:
2020-12-22 17:24:29.835 WARNING: ..\..\..\..\..\src\sdksource\cloud\dzcloudtasknotifier.cpp(178): curl_easy_perform(https://cdn.daz3d.com/file/dazcdn/p/97/65697/meta/65697_e732b9_file.json) failed: HTTP response code said error

2020-12-22 17:24:29.835 WARNING: ..\..\..\..\..\src\sdksource\cloud\dzcloudtasknotifier.cpp(660): sync completed with errors, 156 items succeeded, 1 items failed.
I put in a ticket for this error because it's been going on for a few weeks, probably longer. My question is, does it matter whether you use DIM or DC to install the products? I use DIM because I can control what I want to download out of a product package. Not a fan of seeing duplicate items because Poser compatible items install. Are these errors only happening from using DIM?
Thanks, but again, I doubt that I'm the only one with these errors though, so apparently it's different products for each account.
Here's the Library Scanner for those who want to try it:
UPDATED:

Just extract into a folder and run the .exe.
First screen is for logging in, after you're logged in click the Scan Product Library button to open the library scanner window. Wait until it says "READY".
Change the settings and options if you don't want the default ones, and then click the Scan button to start scanning. You can change the Retry and Pause settings while it's scanning, but don't touch or change anything else.
It's recommended to scan until it finish by itself but you can cancel and continue later if needed. When continuing after a cancel, first open the error.log file (in the Data folder) and scroll to the end. Here you'll see this:
Scan canceled - data may not be complete...
Last Scan#: 11859
Enter the Last Scan# number + 1 (in this case 11860) into the Start At box before you start scanning, and click Scan, to continue where it left off.
In case the program or your system should crash or something else terminates the scan, the Last Scan# number won't be logged. Instead, open one of the report files, scroll to the last line and get the first number to the left (ItemCount#), and use that number instead. It may rescan some products that way, depending on whether the product it was scanning when the scan was terminated had errors or was OK, but it will not create any duplicates in the report.
Each product that is readable (scans OK) will use some 35 KB of bandwidth in average when scanned I think, i.e. 35 MB per 1000 products you have. Unreadable products will probably consume less than 500 bytes.
Reports are in the Data folder inside the folder with the program.
...true, but Carrara metarials don't work in Daz. I just need to know if I can convert FF7 materials to Iray suign teh Daz Iray Uber shaders .If so I'm fine, otherise I'll submit a sales ticket for a refund.
Pretty much decided against going for FF9 as a replacement monitor for one that died, comes first.
@Taoz, a question: when you check those products in the store itself -- not in the product library, but the actual storefront -- does it show that it knows that you own the product?
I ran into the swirly for a product today. Coincidentally or not, it happens to be one for which some part of the store has lost the record that I own the product. I'm running into two different issues. For one, the product shows in the product library, but the store itself doesn't show that it knows that I own the product. And in the product library, it gets the eternal swirly. The other, it's not in the product library at all. (So, understandably, no swirly.)
DIM also can't connect to the order, for some reason. It shows that the item was downloaded and installed, but can't figure out which order it belongs to -- I assume because it can't find the item in my product library, so it can't make the connection.
I was really hoping not to have to figure out how to download and sort through orders to figure out if the store had misplaced something.
I wonder if maybe most of the missing/swirly products are "two-import" products -- they were originally purchased before the move from the old store to Magento, so they had to be imported from one to the other, and then they had to be moved from Magento to whatever this thing is, and something about having to have the data restructured twice made it go weird. I'm pretty sure that almost anything from the original Genesis 1 era would have been purchased first in the old store.
Thank you so much. I (or better your script) found 48 products with swirlies ... I contacted support. Let's see how long it will take them.
An issue possibly related to swirlies and whatnot: has anyone else run into the issue that the main page at www.daz3d.com/shop and the holiday sale page no longer seem to know what you've bought recently?
I've discovered that anything that I've purchased in at least the past week is still present on the sale and main pages, and the cart symbol on the item on those pages isn't changed to the cloud/puff thing to show that it's a downloadable product. If I go into the product page itself, after a long, slow moment, it changes to the red "Purchased" -- takes about 15-30 seconds after the page seems to have finished loading. The item is also in the product library, so that's not an issue. It's just the storefront/sale display pages themselves that seems to have abruptly lost track of what's going on.
I didn't try all of my missing 48, but all those I tried are showing up as *Purchased' in the store.
After I've logged in and click Scan Product Library, it doesn't say Ready, but:
2020-12-23 10-11-51 - ERROR:
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index
at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentOutOfRangeException(ExceptionArgument argument, ExceptionResource resource)
at ᙡ.ᥕ()
and when I close that screen, there's another pop up that says Couldn't get library data.
Question: is the Promo picture for https://www.daz3d.com/darkvault loading for somebody else?
It doesn't for me. After a lot of loading time, the space for the picture is filled with the text "DarkVault by: Nouschka Design, 3D Models by Daz 3D"
Thanks for the script - found 13 (aside fro PC+ Mem and Gift Cards). I had the front of the store not recognise I bought stuff, but only affected last Sat, anything before was okay. I mentioned it on this thread and the next day it was 'fixed'.
Previous to that I found things not even in my Product Library - over two tickets I found and reported about half a dozen - there could be more, I only manually checked 2011 and 2012, which seemed to be the problem times. The database is a mess.
So another ticket in...
No problems here, and it doesn't take an unusually long time to load.
Works great! Found 16 products that were unavailable from Product Library, all associated with two old orders. One I just happened to print a couple of weeks ago, so after the change, but it was okay then. The other I haven't gotten to yet, but I still have the order confirmation e-mails. All products show as Purchased in the Store, though, so it could just be a broken link for the Order. Clicking "Show Order" in DIM brings me to a Login page, so clearly it doesn't recognize the order number as mine. The Adventure Continues...
Thank you for checking! It works for me too now.
For those I've checked, yes, they do show as Purchased. The easiest way to look them up btw is to enter the ProductID/SKU (which the scanner program will list) into the search field in the store.
If you don't have a personal record of your products from before the store update I guess DAZ is the only one who can tell if anything is missing. I do have a complete list of my products from before the update, I'm going to doublecheck with the store records to see if anything is missing. If not, I'll guess things are OK for others too.
I've been thinking the same but haven't checked yet. I've noticed one thing, when I use the scanner the inaccessible products seem to come in clusters, so you have maybe 300 products in a row that are OK and then maybe twenty in a row that fail, then 200 that are OK, then 15 that fail etc.. So there seem to be a pattern of some kind.
Thanks, glad to hear that it works OK.
Looks like there is a problem with the data in your product library. Can you repeat the error? Which windows version are you using?
OK, interesting, there seem to be a pattern where the inaccessible products appear in clusters when you scan, so those clusters could each represent an order then. The only simple way to get the order number for a product though is by scanning the library page which isn't possible with these failing-to-load products, so currently no way to confirm that other than by manual check.
Yes, it would appear to be order-related. Neither of my two orders affected are available from the Orders page. They show in the list, but the links don't work (HTTP error 500).
Every single time, have already redownloaded and tried with a new copy.
Win 10 64
stupid question of the day (really, I am just trying to help!):
where did you extract the zip to?
I used my D drive, not C ...
(Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit)
I used C first, but same happens on D (hey, I've seen 'stupider' questions solve things...)
It should work OK on any drive, but don't use the Program Files / Program Files (x86) on C: as there may be some permission problems there.
I unzipped in the download folder in the User directory
I've checked, works OK for me there (same version of Windows as you). If you want I can check your Product Library data to see what's wrong, send me a PM if you want me to do that.
ETA: I don't need your login or or other sensitive data to do that, I just need the HTML source from the library page.
And with the fix it's happily scanning away. Thanks again for the assist!
Wonder what it'll find...
I seem to be missing a step somewhere. I ran the scan (14,000+ items scanned); if I click on 'simple list' I get a file of 4,220 items. Is this the way it should work? I also see that the scan has errors on gift cards, and I'm wondering if it errors out the entire order on a gift card order.
@Taoz, Thank you for the scanning tool. It found 108 products that will not display properly in my Product Library, plus Platinum Club memberships and Gift Cards.
4220 items seems like way too much, I've got 411 bad out of 18271 products and others seem to have similar small numbers. The bad pages return a 500 Internal Server Error which is used to detect them, that error may be caused by other server problems as well though it seems to be rare that that happens. The multiple retries are for avoiding false positives but maybe not enough if something happens to the server so it keeps returning 500 errors for other reasons than bad library pages. I guess some doublechecking like scanning twice and then comparing the results may be necessary. I'll see if I can cook up something.
If it's OK with you I'd like to check your files to see what may be going on, in that case send me a PM.
As for the gift card it seems to be a product like any other product, AFAIK it's being added to the account the first time you purchase one and will probably be handled as any other duplicate purchase whenever you buy one. I doubt very much it has any effect on the status of other products.
You're welcome. It seems though as some doublechecking of the results may be needed so I guess it's better not to report anything to DAZ before I got that sorted out. Even though they probably can see if there should be false positives there's no need to give them more work to do than necessary.
