Yesterday I bought $358.80 of DOs from my wishlist for $63.74.
If you count the Drutherson stuff, it was $768.50 of content for $63.74.
So either 82% or 92% off. I was thinking there might be similar deals today. But it's not like I need to spend more money here anyway, so not really that disappointed.
Well, I'm probably spoilt by DAZ marketing then. For me an older (2 months+) release < 60% is generally not special. It's when discounts get higher than Fast Grab, especially for Non-DAZ-Originals, things become interesting. And that was the case on quite some occastions throughout the year. Exceptions are only products from vendors which hardly go on sale.
So for Black Friday todays sale is a little underwhelming IMO, but that was also the case last year.
I went for "Macey and Chani" as a nice new release for 50%, for Bette by j.cade (64%) which I missed and which is from a vendor whose catalog does not get on sale that often if I remember right and for DD Maeve (75%). Wishlist is still packed so I'm ready if this Friday might get a little blacker later on.
I had terrible trouble adding an item to my Wishlist just now; it said I needed to login but I was logged in.
I logged out , logged back in, did a hard refresh of the product page and it still gave that message. It did finally work after I visited my Wishlist to see if I was actually logged in...
Not sure if I got screwed out of more of a discount on the Drutherson bundles with this confusing mess or not. In the end I spent $38.21 for the Better bundle and $39.19 for the Gnome bundle. Both at 75% off. The math to get to these prices is 65% off of list and then 30% off of the 65% price. Got all the Add-ons and 16 other DO products for free. So I guess $769.15 worth of stuff at list price for $77.40 is a pretty good deal.
I just got the 20% off banner for the Better Bundle now that I own House Brownie. A little late, LOL
Hope they get the store issues cleaned up soon, as this a pain.
From what I recall, last year the Cyber Monday deal was noticably better than the Black Friday deal as well. So there's still something to look forward to.
No, everything would be 60% off.
Say you put $100 worth of stuff in your cart. At 50% off, that lowers the price to $50. A $50 dollar gift card at 20% off costs $40. So, you pay $40 for $100 worth of stuff. Your overall discount is 60% not 70%.

@SixThree: Your math doesn't work no matter what. Phoenix calculated the GC at 20%. That's all you got.
$200 worth in your cart. 50% off = $100. $200 GC= $160. Your "actual" price= $80. It's still just 60% off.
Facegen is in the free selection if you buy the Drutherson bundle, but doesn't discount to 0. And in the selection, it shows 50% instead of 65 .So something is wrong, either misplaced or wrong discount.
That 20% more buying power is applied to the reduced price, not the original price.
Total original price $400.
After 50% off: $200.
Use gift card purchased for $160 to cover $200.
$160 is 40% of $400.
Discount is 100% - 40% = 60%
50% off become 72% off if new releases are added.
72% off + 20% off GC = 78% off
This is all meh except for the 50% off new releases. Maybe we'll get a Flash Sale.
Tried to get creative to get 10 items and not break the bank, but no joy, LOL. Ah well.
my bank was crushed yesterday with the 2 bundles and all that free stuff. I think I'm done for awhile, unless its too good to pass up ..and that is 90% off to free.
I reported the failure of Face Transfer to discount yesterday. No solution appeared.
However - today if you buy BOTH a cheap new item from the old Orangutan deal AND a cheap new item from todays deal - you can get FaceGen from $139 down to $20.02 and Face Tranfer to $7.19! Bargains!

Is anyone else having trouble checking out today? I have tried many times to purchase a gift card using a saved credit card, a new credit card, and PayPal, and for all of them I get error messages. On one browser it is "There was a problem processing your credit card." while on another it is "An error occurred while processing this transaction.
Yes. Finally got through second time on Amazon Pay. I think PayPal is having trouble in general today; I tried to purchase a gift on another site earlier and it wouldn't go through.
I have experienced this a few times in the last couple of days, while able to add other items without issue - if I try the next day, I am able to add ok.

That happens to me also, and I'm using Chrome on a Win10 machine; backing up or refreshing the page reverts to a different listing, but at times my pages for a sale category will "time out" sort of if I leave the machine for a while & return to finish browsing, or just randomly after I've browsed several, but not all, the sale's category pages. It's kind of annoying, having to reset the list, then show just the wishlist items, then navigate back to the page I was on previously (assuming I noticed & remembered where I left off...)

SO TRUE. But actually not funny. It's downright sad. 
Not just manual downloads. Some DIM downloads are also failing. I reported my list over in the Known Problems thread. But Jack has removed almost everything from the list of known problems. Does Daz no longer recognize/acknowledge things like this as problems? That itself is a big problem.
I have an open ticket concerning manual downloads that has been open since the change-over. Im not sure that that really means anything as tech support dosent really ever respond to tickets until you start to get grumpy with them.
It was a chore shopping at daz before the change-over, now it is simply no longer fun and a waste of my time. Perhaps daz has noticed the change in my spending habits? I know renderosity has...

There is no manual or DIM download option in the Product Library for https://www.daz3d.com/41-food-shaders
(also, couldn't get https://www.daz3d.com/gustavo-hair-for-genesis-8-males to download within the first ten attempts, but I'll just keep hammering away at that until it works)
