...will this be an "electronic" or print magazine?

Will there also be a "regular" site as well or just the one on Facebook (I don't do social network sites for security and privacy reasons).

I was wondering, too, about the media and delivery. We'll need to know target format when considering writing articles or providing artwork. I'm sure all that info will be forthcoming, but with the announcement comes every imaginable unanswered question. %-P

This sounds like an interesting idea. I'm looking forward to the first issue.

If I could make a suggestion for a feature, how about having readers send in their 'WTF' moments with DAZ when they learned something that was pretty important that they had not previously known even if they had been using DAZ.

For example, I would write in about the Workspace and Panes choices while fumbling around with the UI. Or the importance of Exporting and making back-ups of your UserData_1 file if you do any customization of your library.

Discoveries and shortcuts would also be really helpful.

Well Vandalprime if you are interested in writing an article about that you have all the information needed on to where to send it :)
we will have different articles/tutorials about all the features Daz has to offer but its submitted by the readers as we are a magazine by the fans for the fans.

I can also mention we have proofreaders so encase English is not your major not to worry, all submissions will be proofread before going into the mag

And yes if you wish to have more information or simply follow the project you are welcome to join the facebook group. We welcome all input and support! :)

Hopefully we will have a site of our own, but for now the creative group where you can gather more info and or follow the project is limited to Facebook and Twitter.

The magazine will be a free downloadable version (link will be provided before July 1st)

A magazine dedicated to DAZ Studio, can't wait. Hopefully there will be a lot of tips and tricks in this magazine, I have seen many magazines come and go and they were mostly all about the art and feature artist interviews only.

I agree - Tips, tricks, WALK-THROUGHS and TECHNIQUES will make this an invaluable resource. Even more valuable if people can easily be pointed to a specific article and page, when asking something here in the forums, that has already been addressed in the magazine. I understand it will be developing, finding it's voice, so to speak (nyuck, nyuck, I inadvertently punned), but I am excited to see it and possibly contribute from time to time as well.

Thanks for undertaking this mega-venture - there is certainly plenty of talent available here to make it work!

Ahh, and a Cyberpunk challenge, one of my favourite genres. I would take it only new works specifically made for the challenge would qualify, correct? (didn't see mention of it but that is the usual condition for most challenges)

Ach, just saw it had to be submitted through FB.
