  • As of 10:55 am, 11/10, the following issues have been noted and fixed:

    • Customer Orders have been re-sync'd and should now show all products that are owned in DIM, Product Library and DazCentral. If you still are not seeing the products you own, please reach out to customer support.

How is the tech team deciding that things are "fixed?" Because this 100% has not been fixed for me. I have 20 items purchased on November 1st that are still missing from my product library and DIM cannot find them. When I contacted support about it I was just told "its been fixed already."

I feel like I'm being gaslit now. It's been 9 days, this is so frustrating.

I'm still missing my purchases from both 10/31 and 11/01 as well, in spite of having received a response to my ticket today saying that there had been an update and that all of those items should be visible now.

Lol nope. I feel like Tim Russ' character in Spaceballs: The Movie.

Welcome to the club still missing some from 11/04 myself

  • If you do make a purchase, check the amount you were charged for, too. Plat For a Day and sales items were apaprently charged full price on my Paypal invoice. Seriously... I've put a ticket in requesting a refund for the affected items. I'm sorry to sound so negative, but this is amazingly frustrating. I'm just goign to not order anything for a long while, at least not until Daz can fix its site, account, and ordering issues completely. I work too hard for my money to have to deal with this.

We just did a fix for an issue that was causing some to not be able to see their products in DIM and Daz Central with that JSON error.  If you're still receiving JSON errors from DIM, please let me know.

DIM still doesn't show anything to download for me. The log is showing:

Alright, I found the missing ownership records that somehow slipped through the last hours of the sync system. I also had the system rebuild the ownership caches for all users which should also clear up the DIM login problem that DAZ_Jon had found.

Unfortunately the DIM login problems are still not solved. It has been weeks since I submitted ticket number 348360 (because DIM suddenly refused my password) and Tech Support has not been able to fix it - and it's not just me but others having this "known" problem.

Not logging in to DIM means I can't update anything, and anything I purchase has to be manually installed, except for those things that refuse to be installed manually, like Studio BETA, Mesh Grabber Rotation, etc.

That means I can't update Studio general release, because there are too many other products I'd have to update too, such as plugins. And, of course, DAZ has nowhere listed a comprehensive list of updated products.

  • For me it feel like Daz is not as concerned as they should be about the many bugs that still remains with the store change, so many bugs still remains, I have a week long ticket that isn't resolved (see my post about it above), and now seams like a good time for them to release the new Daz 4.14. It will prabably be bugs with that as well, and now the I guess overworked help ticket workers are going to have to deal with the new daz bugs also. This sends the message to me at least that they aren't so concerned as the should be about the store bugs. But I could be wrong, mabye there won't be so much problems with the new Daz version. I hope so, I won't be using it, but I want all Daz staff working on making the store a safe and pleasant place to shop again.

What was the problem that DAZ_Jon found and slipped passed our testing? Data migrated from the first store transition (when the store migrated to the software we just migrated off of) didn't bring along some products/services so they ended up in the orders with a product ID of zero and claiming ownership of product ID zero products. The new system cheerfully migrated that data, but failed out in a really weird way when user accounts claimed to own product number zero.

I don't think "ownership" issues are all fixed. For example:

    • The store does not show Casual Surf Wear for Genesis as Purchased, even though it is part of Genesis Starter Bundle, which the store does show as Purchased. Other products in the bundle do show as Purchased.
    • Casual Surf Wear for Genesis does not appear in my online Product Library, but I have the order receipt for Genesis Starter Bundle proving purchase of the bundle.
    • In the Product Library listing for Genesis Starter Bundle, it has links for What's Included. None of those links work. All go to OOPS page.

    I submitted a help request 354493

  • Being in a programming/support role myself, I do understand that DAZ folks are probably doing everything they can to remedy the situation, but it seems that this entire thing could've been better planned and executed.  After seeing posts here that indicate these issues have been going on for a week or so now, sorry but no more business from me until it's certain that all of the issues are fixed.

I've got one of the cool leather jackets for founding members, even!

Since Studio likes to foul installations of products at random, necessitating reinstallation, not being able to access paid-for material to reinstall it is exceptionally fun. The fact that it has not been adequately dealt with yet is deeply disturbing but also somehow unsurprising. I get that there is a lot that needs putting to rights but this doesn't feel like it was given adequate priority.

  • PC Membership fixed!  YAAY!

For days I've been logging out clearing my cache then logging back in to see if my PC Membership error/bug would work itself out.  NOPE.  I submitted a ticket and a few days later I get an email stating my my PC Membership issues had been resolved.  NOPE. I go through the whole logging out, clearing cache logging in and still nothing.  I submit another ticket and not even a couple hours later. . . YES!  My PC Membership has  returned!  YAAYY!

Thanks Emma!  I know y'all are stressed out and in strung out shape but keep up the fight.

There are a number of "Remote Name Collisions" in DIM. Most are billboards with repetitive names, but some are not. Is there an issue with collisions that would warrant a helpdesk ticket?

Not sure if this applies to you, but when I checked my address after the website conversion, it was marked as an alternate address, with no default or billing addresses.

So I added new default and billing addresses, deleted the alternate, checked out and then I started receiving order confirmation emails, albeit a week late sometimes.

  • I've been doing some reading about these problems and such, and I have come to the conclusion that Daz Central not loading anything is a known problem? I installed Daz earlier today and it worked fine but then I uninstalled it to see if I could change which directory it went into and then I am getting Daz Central with nothing loading. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, including to the same directory when I first installed it. So is this just something to wait out and check on occasion to see if its been fixed?

Could you try again. We're tweaking some of the server configuration to take into account the load and memory usage patterns to better distribute concurrent requests which is causing some of the larger requests to exceed the memory available to the instance which it looks like you're account is hitting.

...the situation with purchased items still showing in the cart is still there this morning. I should only be seeing the 8 BYOB items for 2.99$ and the Wednesday freebie. .Reluctant to delete the other four items given how screwy the site has become since the store update.

This one is new from this morning when I made a purchase. I needed something this afternoon and when clicking my cart got this. So it just happened.

Is anyone else having a problem purchasing through the DAZ 3D store? I'm using the same credit card (and billing information, address, etc.) as always, but I just see "There was a problem processing your credit card." over and over again, with response status HTTP 400. This is an Apple Card, and Apple Wallet isn't telling me anything like "rejected" -- no record of an attempted transaction at all.

Edit- It appears Paypal is screwing up for me on another site too so at this time I don't think it is this store-related.

Could you try again. We're tweaking some of the server configuration to take into account the load and memory usage patterns to better distribute concurrent requests which is causing some of the larger requests to exceed the memory available to the instance which it looks like you're account is hitting.

It works for me now. I've got the list of downloadable files and updates back. I've done a download and install from the list and it worked fine. And the link to the readme page worked as well.

Thank you for fixing this yes

Order confirmation e-mails are taking longer and longer. Thursday: about an hour, Friday: 8 hours, Saturday: 20 hours, Sunday: 24 hours and counting.

Still nothing from Sunday (48 Hrs), and, no surprise, nothing from Monday nor today.

Just got four notifications at the same time, so the logjam seems to have been cleared.

    And the ReadMe's are back...

I can't use Paypal now. It makes me sign in, and ring around the rosey. Paypal just keeps repeating for me to type in my email address or create an account.  I don't really think it's Paypal- I've NEVER had this issue and I've been shopping since 2012. You borked the store and I'm having problems now? So IMO it's NOT Paypal.  I don't want to get a gift card to shop as those are borked too, but from what I understand they show up in orders with the code? I can't keep up with this fiasco.

I've had no problems with gift cards so far but I've purchased a small one, like $1, first, to check if there were problems, before buying a big one.  They've all arrived by email immediately and redeemed without any problems.  And the gift code is on the order page as well, if needed.

I managed to buy something on the store! It's still not right though. There's a swirly that's on screen while the site decides whether to accept the order, or not.

Today's store issue is brought to you by: Cart access:

Your address is invalid, please add a new valid address

I got the same message, and nothing appeared to have changed. But now I have 5 more addresses in my address book, or rather the same address five more times.

It's cool, though. I hope Genesis 9 debuts tomorrow.

Okay, so I decided to be the guinea pig. Got the gift card (and nice to have 20% off)  and I IMMEDIATELY got the order confirmation (which is a HUGE change, normally waited 10hrs or more for those) and also got the gift card email right away!

What needs fixing as of this minute (sigh, add it to the list) is that the click on link from the gift card email did not populate the field in the redeem section. I had to manually paste in the code. But IT WORKED. So I'd say to anyone else who may be thinking about a gift card, it worked like a charm for me just now and I got it immediately.

OK, I just made a small purchase from Fast Grab...it went through, but I got the DAZ confirmation email right away but no PayPal confirmation.  I logged into my PayPal account, and the transaction is showing.  So...perhaps I'll take a chance later on and renew my PC+.

To be fair, the staff working on DAZ Studio are probably a completely separate team from the staff working on the website, with little to no real overlap in duties. Throwing the DAZ Studio development team at the website bugs probably isn't going to be anywhere near an optimal solution, quite likely to the point that attempting to do so would actually slow down the efforts to fix the website by the dedicated team.

That said, it might have been a wise idea to hold off on release to avoid the whole, "oh, look, they decided it was good to release an update to something else when the last update is still being settled in."
