    Besides, back to mesh grabber bundle, I got the purple banner the first time, then it vanished, did not get it the second time, despite owning two of the products.

    Something in this store is definitely not working. As for now, I'm just plain angry.

    Same here - no banner the second time therfore no sale and an even more dissatisfied customer. I've spent under $10 this whole PC sale a fraction of what I would normally have spent.

    May I ask two three silly newbie questions about the mechanics of the daily "Debut New Releases"...

    (1) Gathering from previous posts, is it correct for me to gather that there must be at least two PC+ releases each day?
    (2) If these are being offered as "debut new releases", why is at least one product (Spystuff Props) not "new"? Its readme says it was first released in march 2020.

    I am not really understanding this, thanks for any insights and for adding to my DAZ knowledge!

    (3) what exactly is "PC+ For A Day"? Are these items that are non Daz Originals but are offered for one day at PC+ $1.99 prices? Are all PC+ Club products sold at $1.99?

    Normally there are supposed to be 2, but Jack made a mistake so there's only 1 today.

    Non-PC+ items (PA or DO) that are $1.99 for a day.  When the PC was modified all the existing items were kept at $1.99; items introduced since then have been more than that (but still incredibly inexpensive, IMHO).

    1- Usually there are 2 new PC+ items per day during this sale. But there is no written rule about it. Maybe there was a last minute problem with an item or simple one day there is only one, or more.

    2- Probably an error. Or maybe intended to trigger something else. But definitely is an item released on March.

    3- From what i read some time, that used to be the case. That PC+ items were almost always at 1.99, but as time passed and PC+  evolved it was no longer the case. So the naming and pricing "PC+ for a day at 1.99" is mostly a reference to those times.

    Would you know how an item ends up being a "PC+ product"?
    Could a non-PC+ product some day become one?

    The PC+ administrators like Jack buy items, either commissioning new products or buying existing products that the PA offers to them, such as when a PA leaves the business and sells his existing items.

    Yes, we have done 'newly PC' .. where items become PC items, at PC pricing.

    But yea, mostly its items aquired and released as a PC item.

    I’m really glad today is a slow day (so far) and I only have 4 PC+ items for a day to choose from. I went nuts on the G2 sale, spent most of the day looking through hundreds of items and throwing things in my cart, and then bought too much because the clock was ticking for turnover and I didn’t have time to cull the cart! I doubt I will ever purchase a G2 item again unless it’s under $2.99. I still don’t know how I will render everything I own in my lifetime! 

  • RPGtober has been helpful in getting me to use my library.  Especially when I add in rules like never using something twice, making a male and a female, and only giving myself a short time to design.

    Any reason why my October coupon wouldn't work for these three items? They're all DAZ Studio and none are PC+ or FastGrab items. I'm getting the error ""Coupon code "10-20PlatClub" is not valid."

    The products are:

    FW Honey HD for Victoria 7

    Barkley HD for Genesis 3 Male

    Unless you look at the main sale page regularly, no. But since the PC+ Anniversary sale is going on right now, any item that's $1.99 is probably PC for a day.

    Why is the Daz store the only shop I frequent where the more I purchase, the longer my wishlist gets? Will we get a breather from sales after the Oct PC Sale? Please say we shall.

    Nope.

    After PC+ is a short break (just a few days) and then comes the Black Fridays sales, and after that is the Christmas Sales, in past years this has sometimes been the craziest of all the sales.

    You might get a short breather in January.

    Mine came right away. I would submit a ticket at this point, depending on how long you've waited.

    I was worried that the transaction for mine would fail after the money was gone from my account but before it processed completely, though. Checking out with a gift card always takes so bloody long, every single time I end up convinced that the transaction has stalled because it spends a solid minute or two saying that it's processing.

    Oof, yeah that's not right! Since you've been getting them normally in the past, it sounds like it's probably a glitch rather than an email that got sucked into the spam folder abyss or something. Something similar happened to me one time and they did get it sorted out pretty quickly the next day (I put in the ticket after hours), but it sucked not getting to use it on what I wanted the day I bought it. :(

    I really wish there was a "this is for me" option for buying gift cards, since I bet the overwhelming majority of gift card sales are regular customers buying them for personal use. Then they could just automatically apply the credit to our accounts, or send the code to our Messages. I'm always so worried I'll mess up my email even with autofill.

    You can double check the email you sent it to by looking at your order confirmation.  If it was me, I'd put in a ticket if I didn't receive the code at the same time as my order confirmation.

    You can double check the email you sent it to by looking at your order confirmation.  If it was me, I'd put in a ticket if I didn't receive the code at the same time as my order confirmation.

    Oh yeah, I absolutely double-check. It's just a fear that I'll have to go through the fuss and bother and wait of having to submit a ticket because I managed to send it to someone with a similar email address out in Boise, or something.

    Fortunately for me, things have always come through (knock on wood). There was just that one time when, for whatever reason, the code decided it didn't feel like working.

  • Hmm, although there is an armada of banners (10% for Pro Bundle Collector, 20% for owning the Mansion, 20% for owning DAZ Horse), I really don't know whether I want to shell out 34$ for a somehow strange themed bundle. Speaking of strange, the character Blaise was sold on Rendo months ago. The character of Faber is nice though. Might stick with PC for a day which has a great variety today.
