    so this banner 25% off cart will last until tomorrow's new bundle deal? I could be good with the GC for $10 and then another 25% off ... otherwise it will go unused as I dont need or dont intend to buy anything else today, thats for sure.

    I really don't need Kjaer 8 Bundle, but if the 20% off purple banner lasts until the add-on bundle is released (I expect one with HD-Add-on for Kjaer), I probably can't resist.

    It'd be really nice if the Kjaer and 2020 PC+ Sale Loyalty coupon had an expiration date. Do we have to use it today? Will it still be there tomorrow? ARRGGGHHH.

    Well... the 25% coupon seems to work on Gift Cards, so that's the way around the uncertainty, I guess.

    I'm. so. confused. I saw the purple PC+ loyalty banner and used the coupon, but when I closed it afterward there was something orange underneath it that flashed just for a second before also disappearing There's zero mention of anything except for the PC+ loyalty banner in my messages.

    Was I supposed to get a banner that somehow got deleted? I bought today's bundle, am I supposed to be getting a banner for that? Nothing's shown up after checking out. Or was the 25% banner only given out to people who bought it before the price settled down, or before the loyalty banner popped this afternoon? Was that orange whatever buried underneath the purple one, that's disappeared into the void, actually a 25% thing where I could have gotten a better deal? Was it a background, non-coupon discount that applied to the Kjaer 8 bundle (bought for $25.65) that I just didn't see?

    I hate having multiple banners going at once like this, I almost never know which I'm supposed to have and which I'm not, apart from the fact that I never get bundle buyer reward ones. As soon as I closed it I saw an orange banner flash up and go away; didn't even last long enough to tell if there was text much less read it.

    ETA: and OF COURSE neither the PC+ Loyalty banner nor message says when this expires. I'm guessing tomorrow since it will be this weekend at least before I can afford to buy stuff.

    That was the first thing I checked. Like I said, the problem is that whatever the other one was, isn't there. I have to assume that some kind of error happened somewhere, but with as error-stricken as things have been around here lately I'm not sure what direction it goes in, namely 1) did they show me a banner that I wasn't supposed to have, never deactivated the orange thing on the storefront, but the absence of it in my messages is correct, or 2) was the banner that disappeared when I closed the loyalty banner something that was supposed to have an exclusive offer message associated with it, that never got sent to me.

    Or the altogether different, 3) for whatever reason DAZ has decided that whatever container holds the purple banner needs an orange background and you see it for just a second before the whole thing goes poof.

    (I'm not trying to be terse with you, I'm just fifteen kinds of frustrated and things never seem to work right around here. I've never seen any other storefront this chaotic.)

    Well if they told us that, we wouldn't rush to use them right before they issued a better one the next day! :P Seriously though, DAZ are the masters of the impulse buy.

    My guess is that they're one-day things, but I could be completely wrong and people could run into the joyous occasion tomorrow of that still being active, another banner popping for the Plunder Bundle if they bought the Blacksmith Bundle bundle today (no guarantee of this but it's been the pattern for these multi-bundle events), and having to decide which one to use after spending their own time determining what banner works on what items (because "entire" never really means "entire" around here).

    I just wish I knew what and why and where that orange thing was. But it sounds like it's not just me so if there was a glitch, it impacted multiple people and someone'll doubtless raise a bigger stink than I have the energy to muster right now. I've been sitting all day, my sciatica is flaring, and I'm at "whine a little in the sales thread" levels of energy lol.

    It's because the banners use to be orange, then at some point they decided to make them purple, but the orange is still lurking underneath the purple, so when you click it away it flashes orange for a second. It's just one more piece of poorly thought out web design here.

    @CoraRegina I feel your pain, this day seemed like quite a mess. I was a DAZ victim as well as I described above...I swear literally half a second after I clicked checkout, I received my 20% banner... which means I suffered a double whammy of (1) not being able to use the 20% on my not-too-small purchase and (2) I also missed out on the bigger 25% banner (since I did purchase the new bundle... 0.5 seconds... before they sent out the banners). But I cautioned myself not to take this personally otherwise it would totally have ruined the second half of my day. I just learned the hard way what other members had advised me previously... to never purchase anything here until the day is almost over, unless it's a flash sale. This has become good wisdom for me for future DAZ shopping. A true love-hate relationship.

    This has been going on for a while, at least I've always seen this since they switched the banners to purple. When I close them I see the (what I assume is leftover code) orange banner behind the purple one for a brief moment as it closes. If you actually have multiple banners they will be in your messages, closing the banner just gets rid of the notification.

    Oh god, that one is harsh. D: I had said I was gonna buy the bundle but it was still waiting and getting the banner that really swayed me. This is probably the one shop where my inherent tendency toward procrastination has paid off, because in the past I've seen people buy early and gotten to read their comments about it after the fact. This time I just skimmed the last couple pages of this thread because I'm trying desperately to pry my butt away from the computer.

    When the deals are good, they're... sometimes very, very good and sometimes just okay, but when things go wrong it's chaos. I feel you on the love-hate.

    That makes absolutely no sense, wtf. So it did end up being closer to Door Number 3, which I honestly had pegged as the least likely given all that's been going on lately. I know there used to be orange banners but I would swear that I've gotten them since the purple banners started. Like, orange banners were ones given to everyone while purple banners had some kind of qualification that had to be met. IDK I could be completely making that up but in my head it sounds right, would've sworn I got an orange one sometime during the spring or summer.

    Thanks for letting me know! Now I won't get so fussed and confused, at least about that bit, in the future. The rest... still confusing and probably always will be.

    If it's any help, keep in mind that the purple banner isn't the actual sale offer, it's only the notification that you have one. The actual sale offer is in Messages, and usually includes details (e.g. limitations, conditions, or activation codes) that usually aren't mentioned in the banner. Deleting the banner doesn't delete the message or the sale offer.

    Maybe we'll get a more sensible system with the new store software... <fingers crossed>

    If it's any help, keep in mind that the purple banner isn't the actual sale offer, it's only the notification that you have one. The actual sale offer is in Messages, and usually includes details (e.g. limitations, conditions, or activation codes) that usually aren't mentioned in the banner. Deleting the banner doesn't delete the message or the sale offer.

    Maybe we'll get a more sensible system with the new store software... <fingers crossed>

    Oh yeah, that part I knew, although this one did have the code printed right on it. It was just the underlying container for it, and since I swear to god we had an orange banner a while back that was something for everyone (as opposed to the purple qualifier banners), I worried that I'd missed one.

    The message was in, well, messages where I expected it to be. It was just confusing finding the one I expected and then nothing for what looked like a second (but was in fact just some bad site code running wild).

    Here's hoping the changes do good things, though IIRC they said that customers wouldn't notice much difference (in spite of our long screaming about things that really, really need to be changed/added).

    I would like to know what this 404'd Romeo Hair referenced in Sten's promo credits is (and thank you to those who actually give those credits). I was hoping it would be the swirly eternal on the sale page, but alas that was the Birka Poses.

    HD add-ons have always been add-ons to bundles, I think, not part of the bundles themselves. They were the big-ticket add-on choice when you were picking your two or three to unlock a discount on the apparently dead pro bundles. This feels more like DAZ deciding that anyone who buys both should have to waste a spot that could be filled with something else, get people to spend way more money than they do on pro bundles for less content (i.e. work). Assuming, of course, that a discount is not forthcoming for prior ownership of Kjaer and purchase of the first bundle once the business day starts for them in a few hours?

    Sten is from RedzStudio, who is rather prolific with hair, as well as characters. I wouldn't be surprised if dForce Romeo Hair for Genesis 8 Male(s) is something she created that's in the queue for release.

    We've seen this before, with two themed bundles featuring a Named 8 figure, with the figure included in both bundles. Daz always compensates for that, so I think that's why they gave us $10 Store Credit if we bought the first bundle yesterday, and are giving us $10 off the cart if both bundles are purchased together today.

    I could be wrong, though. (Happens a lot!) Maybe we'll see another purple banner later today, once the Daz staff are up and have had their morning coffee.

    Typo in today's deals (I guess):

    Buy Kjaer 8 Blacksmith Bundle or Kjaer 8 Plunder Bundle together to get $10 OFF** your cart

    should either be "and" instead of "or" or should lose that "together" to make sense... considering as having the Plunder Bundle alone in the cart doesn't seem to trigger it, I guess it's the first option...

    Is there any chance for a 1-hour or 4-hours flash sale with all Interactive Licenses at $1 or $2 ?

    I would add many more licenses to the assets I bought and I would buy more assets in such a flash sale...

    Again, QA for parts of today's bundle seem to have skipped two assets:

    • Ilias Hair: Only the hair itself is categorized. Evereything else shows up in "Lost And Found"
    • Viking Catapult: If you are searching for the catapult itself, look into "Lost And Found"

    That should not at all happen for a new item. especially the hair is rather difficult to use with SmartContent, as materials and shapes are mixed up "rather well".

    My issue is that the character cost more than $10...we should be compensated for the entire cost of the base character...or else we are still paying for more than once.

    It’s 10:00 AM and still a swirly! And look how awful the layout is on mobile now! It looks like a two year old put together this website! And now I just checked again and the dforce Breeze set has lost its discount! Does anyone know what the other item is?
