That's what I thought the moment I saw this new character. I like Sydney, but...

While the Valentino 8 bundles were full of wonderful things, the Aubrey 8 bundles don't contain anything interesting for me. Maybe the futuristic steampunk dress. Just my personal taste.

Any one know this outfit?  Anyone know the model?  Does NOT llok like it is in the bundle.

The outfit is dForce G.I.S. Admiral for Genesis 8 Female(s) with the Lore add-on textures. It's one of my favorite outfits.

    Thank you

The character is quite nice, but she reminds me a lot of Josephene and Sydney, and to a lesser degree of Jenni and Ellithia.

But there are sooooo many female characters in their 20es, I guess it's ok for there to be a few more middle aged ones.

I was expecting Valentina the pirate lady! There's been quite a few pairs recently.

Maybe there will be a pirate lady addon?

I don't think there was enough pirate content for a lady pirate to be released.

I just hope the next bundle is more interesting. I also hope they start wswitching up the offers on these pro bundles and they stop with this coupon nonsense as a purple banner.

The "High Collar Outfit" - oh dear. Interesting in idea - but WAY too clingy on the breasts, that collar would mean you would be limited in posing of the head, it's not dForce, so I think you'd be VERY limited in its movements. Clothes simply do NOT sit under breasts like that.

Weirdly, in the promo image on the sales page for the starter bundle is the same outfit on (maybe) the same woman, but doesn't have the same breast cling thing happen. It seems to be something that happens on larger breasted women only, and maybe is an outfit that really needs custom morphs to work better.

Though I suppose thats pretty typical that clothing doesn't fit larger breasts well, it's weird it doesn't seem to happen on the other copy of (maybe) the same character, so I guess the custom morph wasn't done then.

I suppose there is a few pirate lady outfits out already, but still, I think we all have a need for more booty.

Interesting is always personal of course, so we just have to get lucky in that respect. I suppose having a wider selection of items you're interested in helps, and I don't find many bundles are targetted at mine (I still really don't care about any male bundle at all).

Often it seems they scale the deals based on the perceived desireablity of the bundles (male bundles usually seem to have slightly better deals as they're less desirable). So "weird" bundles tend to get better deals (like Edie). I'm not really sure where i'd rate the desirablity of this bundle as it's pretty standard with no obvious theme and a few quirks.

I kinda like the character. This is also one of very few times I actually grabbed a pose pack from the add-ons, Boldly Whimsical Poses looks fairly varied with some useful things I didn't have yet.

I like the way most base characters look, and if I had the funds I'd purchase them all, however Aubrey 8 is literally a young Mabel 8, there's no way one can not see it if one does a side by side. Aubrey would have been better suited as an add on for her IMO. Have to pass on this one (I need to put away for Josephene anyway, my favorite looking female character from the promo's thus far.)

Aubrey 8 looks a lot like Sydney 8.

Oh wow, I totally forgot about Sydney 8, you're right! I wonder if someone who already has both Mabel 8 and Sydney 8 could blend the 2 morphs and compare it to Aubrey 8. lol

    Jenni 8 & Audrey 8, 50ish Jewish sisters

Perhaps Alawa 8 is paired with Valentino 8, despite her Native American name & retro-futurist pretensions in common with Dasan 8?

I like the look of Aubrey 8 herself. Nice body shape - not too young, but not quite old-er either. The main promo of her in the scarf, holding back her hair on one side, makes her very appealing - except for that jacket!! Is it meant to deform under her breasts like that?????? Wowser, that's bad.

I believe that's the https://www.daz3d.com/x-fashion-sophisticated-jacket-outfit.  It's a dForce jacket with the simulation skipped.

Gosh I would never have picked that! I like that jacket and it certainly doesn’t look like that in any of its own promos

Looks like she mixes well. The bundle theme is a little....oddball, as usual, but there might be some good Star Wars kit bashing in it.

She's described as "Tripping the Metaverse", which reinforces the strong "Doctor Who" vibe I get from her outfits. She even looks a little like Jodie Whittaker (the current doctor).

I've liked every character but they get to be redundant. There is nothing new here. I think PAs who want to increase revenue should focus more on themed bundles and move away from characters. I'd like to see a 1950's clothes, hair, and kitchen bundle. 1930's detective bundle. Frankenstein lab bundle. Medieval knight bundle. Witchcraft bundle. Jungle bundle. Etc. These bundles would focus more on quality outfits, poses, quality props, rooms, scenes, hair. 3D rendering is kind of like playing with dolls. I have all the dolls I need but nothing to dress them up with nor the accessories.

Ok, so her bundle doesn't make much sense to me (or pique my interest really) although definitely get the Doctor Who vibes but Aubrey's skin textures are absolutely gorgeous and she's definitely got THE most "realistic" body shape for an early-to-mid 30s caucasian woman out of all the releases in that age range so far :D AND I'VE FINALLY GOT A PURPLE BANNER! Now if only I had money haha

I like her. Especially for joining the beyond 30 team. Just the same bad deal like on Valentino's bundle keeps me away from buying. Maybe in a few months.

i was shocked to see a purple banner for a pro bundle so soon after the last pro bundle release, which I eneded up passing on. THis bundle is really not doing anything for me, Maybe I'm tapped out creatively, but more than likely too much unused content already.

That just makes me think of space pirates.

I'd soo want a space pirate theme.

Ice pirates, despite being an all time classic movie is barely ever mentioned. surprise

I really like Aubrey herself, except her makeups. The other characters look good, and I rather like the futuristic outfit. Not really convinced by the other outfits though...

Nice character, however the rest of the bundle is very poor quality, especially the hair, what has happened to all the good PA content ? Things really seem to be going downhill at the moment.

I would like Pro bundles like that as well.   What makes them less likely is:

1-High quality products don't need to be in deep-discounted bundles to sell well.  There's shovelware in most Pro bundles.

2-There would be a lot of coordination between Daz and various PAs required to ensure that the dozen or so items fit a theme.

2a-PAs have bills to pay.  They might not want to wait for other PAs to finish coordinated items so that a bundle can be released.

2b-What's a good theme that will leverage interested PAs strength and be popular with us riffraff?  Who decides what that theme will be?

3-Some PAs are already making bundles of their own, like the Toons Generations, like the Set/Outfit/Pose bundles, like the Character/Hair/Outfit bundles produced by single PAs and small teams.

It continues to astound me that dForce outfits keep getting worse and worse. That hooded outfit, though the concept is sound, looks like a bag. Let's just barely drape a garbage bag on a character and BOOM...dForce outfit. :/

One might be able to do something with it after playing with the dForce settings, but the end user who is purchasing said outfit shouldn't have to. It should just work.

Not a bad bundle but nothing that really impresses me. The deal is about the same as the not too impressive deal we have been getting lately. I've run out of the "free" 'Select Daz Originals' that I care anything about and I already have all the 80% off 'Select Genessis 8" items. Even though the deal wasn't great I bought Valentino 8 Pro because I really liked the character and a lot of the items. However, I'm passing on Aubrey 8 Pro because It doesn't have anything that I really want a lot and there is only the same old worn out deal.

I must make a confession and a retraction.

I was one of the people saying that I wanted DForce items to be bag-like.  I think my exact quote was "death to baked in wrinkles."  My view was that if DForce's advantage was draping to a specific pose, then baked-in wrinkles were a hindrance, not a help.  Baked in wrinkles with subsequent draping forced specific wrinkles in one direction even when a pose would likely have wrinkles in another direction, or no wrinkles at all.  To see an example, watch "The Longest Day" and observe the sleeves of the German officers playing cards.

Unfortunately after more experience, I'd rather even DForce clothes include the initial drape, rather than depend on the DForce drape.

    Mea Culpa.

Can i ask how many pro-packs do you have? I have 8 after buying 5 on monday (including valentino) and did not get the banner. I also have no money and 20% off with code is not a good deal, but i hate not knowing what number makes the cut for these banners.

Some of the High Collar promo shots look like a pre-release version? Not all of the promos have that shrink-wrap effect to the underboob.

To me, a more mature lady with sci-fi stuff is a pretty simple equation. It's right in my wheelhouse.

How many Genesis 8 pro-packs do I have? I can count the ones that I don't have on one hand, I think.

EDIT: Actually, the High Collar performs better with some models than others. Looks more Shrink-wrappy on Babina 8, for instance.

I can absolutely understand and agree with your reasoning. However, what seems to have happened, is that (in general) dForce outfits have become lazy. Some artists have not done so (one that comes to mind is Mada...I buy their clothes without trepidation), which is why I said in general...but there seems to be a recurring issue/theme with dForce clothing. And let's face it, just judging by the promos of that hooded outfit released today, you'd hope that the artists making the outfits could at least figure out how to drape their own product to look good. I love dForce. I try to apply dForce to everything, even older clothing and hair. Once you get past the basics, dForce clothing is pretty easy to get a handle on, provided you have the horespower to do so. You don't need to be an expert to use dForce clothing...the ones making clothing for it shoud...ya know...know how to use it. Properly made dForce clothing should work out of the box without adjustment needed for most standard scenes. *shrugs*
