    I tried that. It said you cannot use a gift card to buy a gift card.

    Put the gift card in your cart and enter the welcome-back coupon. The cart should go to $0.

    Buy a 10 dollar gift cart and use that coupon to pay for it.

    Make sure you type the code in the coupon field, not the giftcard field.

    Daz sure made this harder than necessary. Why not just give a coupon for $10 off?

    Could be you have to claim and actual GC or it add to your store credit.

    Yes, that links to the standard store gift purchase page, which after filling it all in states ' you cannot use a gift card to buy a gift card.' :0/

    have you tried entering the gift card code (WELCOME-BACK) in the 'Redeem Gift Card' page, Account, Gift Cards

    Are you entering WELCOME-BACK in the Coupon Code or the Gift Code Code? The error you are getting implies the later. The WELCOME-BACK is a coupon for a gift card, it is not a gift card itself.

    I have tried it in both fields many times.

    I will wait for support to sort it out, thanks for your trouble.

    For the WELCOME-BACK code,

    1. Go to the gift card page (https://www.daz3d.com/gift-card).

    2. Fill in the required information at the bottom. 

    Amount: $11.11 (due to the current 10% discount on gift cards) or $10 if you're feeling honest

    fill in the the sender and receiver fields with valid info

    3. Add to cart and check out.

    4. At the shopping cart screen, use the WELCOME-BACK code at the coupon field and then press apply.

    5. Check if total becomes zero. Proceed to finalize purchase.

    6. Check your email for the gift card code and redeem it at the site.

    double check that you don't have leading or trailing blank spaces

    So did it work for you, or is that just explaining how it should work?

    What sender and reciever information, am I sending this to myself and recieving myself and gifting myself?

    Also do I use my real name or my forum name?

    Why does this have to be so confusing.

    All that actually matters, as far as I know, is the recipient email, so you get the code.

    I use my name in both places.  But the fun starts after you buy the Gift Certificate.  You might get two emails and one or both of them might say "Wrong gift card code." when you try to redeem it.  The money might show up in your store credit w/o you doing anything regardless of whether you get email(s) or not.  I have a ticket open now because both codes I received for a GC I bought yesterday don't work and nothing has been added to my Store Credit.  But once it's in your Store Credit it's great.

    I just went through the process and using my forum name and my email for all I asked about regarding names and it worked, just checked my email and got one for the order and one with the code, so everything worked out as was laid out. That name thing is what confused me...lol

    Second problem, I got the code but I keep getting an error that it's the wrong gift card code and can't use it, this is so frustrating. What I have in my cart will not be on sale tomorrow.

    You can put whatever name you want, it's just used in the mail sent with the gift card to tell you something like "Hi <recipient name>, <sender name> sent you a gift card"

    Check your store credit, you might have already redeemed it without realising it.

    Also, sometimes Daz sends you two mails for some reason, one with a valid code and one with an invalid one. So there might be a second email somewhere.
